Yeah, his scores are all over the place. He will give a BMW 7 Series a 6 for Quality, because replacing parts might be expensive and then he gives the Koenigsegg, which is just a carbon fiber bucket inside like outside and will cost you like 30 000 Dollars for an oil change, a 8 in Quality.

Starts at € 32k, but after adding options it got upto €55k...
That's € 23k worth of options on a €32k car.

I’ve never been a Mercedes fan due to their poor reliability but at a starting price of $38k, the CLA is an absolute steal. Fantastic interior and exterior, especially the 2021 model.

Hi Doug, there is a fullscreen navigation map in the cluster available (besides fullscreen ADAS and fullscreen trip). You can access it via the overlay menu. I have this information, because I have been working on the cluster implementation and shader developement for several years ;). Btw, I'am really happy and proud, that MBUX is received quite well by you.

You open the trunk and its surprisingly cheap like civic. No trims around hinge holes, no trim covers to hide seam adhesive, etc. That aluminum trim you are talking about, is actually plated plastic, where they deposit copper oxide on the plastic and then plate aluminum on top, after few years of plastic shrinking and expanding, the aluminum starts to peal off. Good one Mercedes.

Hey Doug , you can actually see the full nav on the instrument cluster. If you press home on the left side of the steering wheel and go to navigation. Then press full view. You can see everything
I've been driving the much older W204 generation C300 for a while now. It's been practical, reliable, versatile, and comfortable. The materials and quality is largely par for the course at the time, but manufacturers have made significant strides in the right direction when improving the details and styles of entry-level models in the past several years.
I would honestly trade up to a new CLA because it is a genuine improvement over my older C Class. The new C Class is downright phenomenal too, but the CLA makes such a compelling offer with its price, feature, and performance packages. I imagine an AMG model will be quite the performance/luxury bargain!

Doug, you can make the navigation full screen on the drivers display, click home on the steering wheel, then click navigation, then go into the centre of both gauges, and then scroll down to where it says "full screen' and click on it. And then you got full screen navigation. 14:50

Doug, the CLA45 you reviewed before was not a 2017. It was a 2015 most likely since it was definitely a Pre-Facelift model.
Post-Facelift models have 20 more hp, revised transmission tuning etc.
They are significantly different.

Hey Doug, quick correction. You can have a full screen map on driver’s cluster. I have an A-Class and what you do is click the button on steering wheel, go to navigation and then scroll down to last option for full screen mode. I use it often instead of having the map full screen on the right cluster.

I got A class loaner a few weeks and you can get navigation full screen on the digital cluster, you just have to change the middle portion of the screen to navigation.

I know, I watched the A class video so I skipped all the tech stuff.
It's why I steer clear of them. Have you seen car commercials these days? I keep getting Hyundai ones, where the two things it lists that it has is: blutooth and apple carplay, then commercial ends. Nothing about the car, the engine, the drivetrain, the things that actually matter.... Here's some software; buy the car!!

Voltex It does. We just got one of the 2020s at my Benz dealership. Sticker says 221. The 2019s and the ones before them did in fact have 208.

I bought it for my mum. She had been driving a 2001 S55L since 2004 and absolutely loved it. She is a surgeons so unfortunately puts a lot of miles into the car. But anyway. She deserved a new car so we went for the CLA - managed to trade in the old S55L so managed to get a great deal on this CLA. Initially, she was struggling a little in terms of going from a big car to a small car but now she's loving it.
