West Ham treated Lingard as the class player he is. He deserves to be on a much more accommodative team than Man United
I'm a West Ham supporter from the States. It's now over a year since Jessie Lingard came on loan and crushed it. He has since signed for Nottingham Forrest. How do I feel? Grateful.
I am still grateful that he came on loan and helped push us into European football. In a time when we were locked down due to the pandemic, one of the positive moments that helped me get through the isolation was our performance. I was almost dumbstruck watching the Hammers play competitive football. Week in. Week out. Jesse was instrumental in giving us a truly creative attack. I felt he was unselfish on the ball and moved with purpose and class. He made the players around him better and I'm happy he was flourishing with our squad. I think it is natural for supporters to wish for the best in a situation which benefits the team. However, we don't know his circumstances. This is the first choice he's had to make as a free agent. I'm not, nor do I believe anyone is fit to be his judge. I only wish him the best, but I do wish he was a Hammer
Three years ago Rio Ferdinand praised lingards first touch and presence of mind. Then a year after people started making fun of that video and I'm the present lingardinho is again showing all those things Ferdinand said.

He's one of the most successful managers of all time, EtH made Ajax, a team playing outside of the Top 5 leagues into a CL winning candidate and he's still not finding massive success. Pogba at Juve, Maguire at Leicester, Antony&Onana at Ajax, Sancho at BVB were all solid players but plays/ed like a shell of their former selves at United. From the facilities to the staff to the board, the club is undoubtably the problem.

He was just able to turn and carry the ball on the counter more at West Ham than he was at United. That is the major difference and the best part of his game.
