    Thanks for covering this topic just the way i see it: so sad and reveling of the shallowness of our times, that a relatively minor issue as dress code has been promoted, by both Islam haters and many Muslims, to kind of represent the essence of our deen.

    You can wear a hijab on your own will or any other clothing if its part of your culture don't mix it with the quran law, quran says cover your self with a vail from neck to ankles meaning don't walk around naked it doesn't tell you what colour or design to wear it's just telling you not be naked.

    Salam brother could you do Dua for me because I am struggling on my manzil subki and subak. I don’t want anything to become weak for me. I want to have a strong memory and everything to become solid so I don’t lose my track and read slower. Make everything in hifz class become strong for me. And remove problems hard relief and difficulties and also remove fear from my heart and make me remember every letter,word and verse properly so I get my manzil,subki and subak ready on time. Get more confidence and not be scared if I read wrong but also forgive my sins, mistakes and errors

      @melihtopcu97 Před rokem +2

      Hi Brother,
      I hope you beat your struggle and may Allah be with you. I would advise you to seek refuge by Allah and not ask other people for dua. Doing so may be shirk. This is surely in your best interest, as god doesn't want us to put others beside him.
      In my opinion, memorizing the Qur'an is quite an achievement, but is not something mandatory. I think, reading it slowly, and really trying to understand it, is what god would want for us. You will spend your lifetime studying the Qu'ran, do not be too eager.
      Of course, I cannot speak for god, just try to answer this exact question by reading the Quran. And I am sure all of your worries will go away, because you will surely find an answer, if you really look for it and try to understand it.

    I believe in following the Quran alone. However, I don't support dismantling the living traditions of Islam. Women wearing the hijab is a good thing. I don't think that Muslim women should abandon wearing the hijab. Those women who don't wear the hijab, they have their right to do so. However, don't impose their choice on women who choose to wear the hijab.

      He is just saying its not a religious thing its actually traditional. If someone is wearing it then its good. And if someone is not wearing it then its good for them as well. Inforcing such rules which is not from God is tyrrany. One needs to avoid it. By the way personal opinions and inforcing it on others is not a good thing but a tyrrany even if its good for them.

    You make such valuable points re Hadith. Since we should follow only Quran, however, the dress code cannot be diminished. It IS in there. Also, the khimar being pulled over the woman's bosoms indicate the covering was first on the head, or there would be no covering to mention. Who are we to diminish what words Allah spoke? They are all valuable. Later, the Quran discusses numerous other dress code details to help the women not be molested. I find ALL of Allah's words valuable. Who freaking cares about the Hadith. Hadith arguments cannot invalidate the Quran.

    • @DaZzeRGaming
      @DaZzeRGaming Před rokem +8

      Indeed brother but khimar, simply means a covering, the word رأس - ras is not found in the verse, it just simply tells the people to draw their covers over their chest :)

      @@DaZzeRGaming precisely. I am a sister, however--not a brother. As for those khimars--where WERE they exactly? By all means, we should use our God given intellects, too. Let's not twist the Quran by weaving logical details OUT. So you may use the Quran to the letter of the law--but then you run the risk of missing it's quantum applications.

      @@thekristinestory my apologies! regarding the verse on the khimar, no head is mentioned which means it’s not compulsory to cover the head, I have nothing against covering the head it’s just not found in the Quran, a khimar is basically a cover, for example your clothes act as a khimar, a table cloth could act as a khimar as it covers the table etc, no where mentioned that it refers to covering the head :)

    So if I say cover your belly with your shirt, does it mean you don't need to wear a shirt and your breast can be uncovered?
    We are for Qur'an only because hadeeth is obviously false but one shouldn't try to misuse the Qur'an for false ideas. The Qur'an is clear that a muslimah has to cover her decoration and her
    entire body. The Ayah with the chumur (veils) is also clear in covering their heads.
