A good tip for mining in caves is to bring a cabinet or large box with you. Put it in the cave, and put your ore in there when overloaded. You can then mine it all out at once, and just grab the ore at your convenience. Also, always bring about 3 ramps with you.
My trick is a large fireplace, you can chuck it outside so you don't need to deal with caveworms later on.

Interesting. How does that work? I usually consider worms free melee spear practice. I enjoy stabbing the things.
@@Al-ny8drI tired of these worms a long time ago. With weatherproof storage outside you never need go back in to pick up stuff even weeks later. And often you have to knock down a stone barrier to get in so I recycle that material right away.

Ok. I get it. I just used a cabinet so I can stay there without worrying about being constantly worrying about being over encumbered. A cabinet has tons of space. So I place the cabinet a little inside the cave, and just fill it up. Then I shuttle it back to base. I also leave one piece of ore depending one what or if there is a deep mine vein in it, so I can tell at a glance without going very far in. I used to use signs for that, but it works all the same.
Just something I've noticed during last few videos, but I'm pretty sure when you go into a crafting page, when you have more than the max crafting amount of whatever you want to craft (like x100 rope). Instead of exiting the crafting menu and going back into it reselect it, you can just select another item and then reselect the rope. It has been a minute since I've played, but I used to do that when I did. Not sure if that has been changed, but figured I would throw it out there.
With such a magentic sunrise, I see a bright fuchsia for this series.
Remember any animals you tame early are only Temporary, because once you put points into the tameing talents your new tames will have better stats.

For your taxi problem to the airport, I recently realized that if I spent three days away that renting a car locally to drive to and drop off at the airport, and renting a car to drive back home when I get back is just as expensive than paying for airport parking.
I found out something similar. It was cheaper to rent a car in the metro area and keep it for two weeks vs pick it up in the metro, drop it off at another branch near my house and pick it up and drive it back to the metro.
Sometimes the agencies will be helpful with tips to save you money, sometimes they won't.

When you turn on hard mode, you are limited to 3 respawns. It says that in the description.
I believe that you are limited to 3 respawns. After that, your character is considered lost and deleted.

The respawn cap applies to any particular mission in open world, after you max out you fail the mission. The Obsidian pick axe is a great item. It has a 20% chance of smelting anything you mine, up to Aluminum, so mining Silica will result in getting glass plates, for example.
Ah that's cool, I thought it was something along those lines with the death limits. As to the obsidian, that's really cool :)
that slime's hitbox for its attacks are ridiculous
Not sure if it was mentioned. With the Obsidian Pick axe. Be careful with Silica, It changes to Glass, the Ores like Iron goes to ingots but at least the ores are not always bad in ingots.
I just bought the base game, played for the 1st time earlier today. Finally built a home with the walls facing the right way so the roofs would work, took 3 times to figure that out, added a ramp to enter. Was too close to the campfire.... watched my home burn to ground. Level 3. Quit and will start again. Does the ctrl key xfer items to and from inventory? BTW, am learning a lot, mostly from Capac :)

Around 2 and a half hours into the vod, capac starts talking about inflating viewer counts on livestreams, and mentions specifically children's content. This is actually a massive concern that goes largely unnoticed, and rarely gets taken care of. Games like Minecraft had this happen to them, specifically with Minecraft Monster School, which was originally an animated series following what the name implies, but modern usages is just random pseudo-related minecraft animated stuff that isn't acceptable as children's content anymore, and despite having thousands of viewers, no one was talking in the chat, and every comment was a bot response. CZcams didn't deal with it until a decently big-name minecraft youtuber pointed it out, especially how it could be really really bad if a child found it because their parent just put on some minecraft thing without checking it first. Stay safe out there folks, the algorithm is out to get you

Did you turn off "highlight objects in the world"? I did this so I wouldn't see 5000 fiber highlights as I ran but it also turns off things you want highlighted like animals or arrow/knives.
Classic Splitsie: "Capaaaaac! Save me, Capaaaaac!" Capac, with appropriate gravitas, continues to work on slaying the beast that brought Splisie low. Eventually, tiring of the tedious whining, he wanders over and rescues Splitsie. Again. The beast goes free. Laurel and Hardy couldn't have done it better.
I think Daisy is how a Ankylosaurus would look if it was a mammal instead of a dinosaur.
An upgrade bench, much like the suit upgrades in SE, is a game all sandbox games should have. Being able to upgrade thrusters in situ would be a game-changer.

One thing I don't get, if you have the "animal health bar" perk, you (or at least, I, myself) don't see their names until it's too late. And seeing it through here, it seems names show up at the distance as health bars if you don't have the perk. For me, rabbit health bars don't show up until I pass them.

I have good new and bad new Daisy can't do anything with her that i have found out thats the bad new . good news is she does not eat or drink or sleep so... she is useless unless someone found out how to make her work ?

For the Hard open world, the lives do count down. After I died a third time in mine, quit the game and when I came back in was able to respawn normally again. Not sure if it's a bug or intended behavior that it tries to give limited lives.

Seems very unlikely. As I said, I like the guy just not his videos. He was entertaining with the other Yogscast in various things and hopefully having previously streamed with the hat films boys I'm given some credit 😂
Of course the prospector that owned daisy died; if you listen to what the AI says when you first get the mission she states that the prospector was missing a functional trachea; the trachea is kind of important to a functional human body
I mean, it’s technically possible to survive without a functioning trachea. Actually, I believe there’s a form of intubation called a tracheotomy where they cut it open and put a pipe in for you to breathe through.
However, it’s certainly the sort of injury that will leave you in emergency care with a months long recovery.
