Love so much of their stuff but damn, Hammer Smashed Face will always be in a league of its own as far as im concerned. Would love to see them some day!

@@RonaldMcDonaldface I think Rutan is a very, very good guitarist (loved his work in HE and especially MA), and I don't know who would be a better fit, tbh, but O'Brien is irreplaceable in CC to me. He just can't be replaced. I loved his style immensely and the intensity, and "wickedness" he used to bring in to the sound and live performances. He was just a truly "sick" guitarist (no pun intended!) with unparalleled riffage skills, very technical yet brutal. I preferred his sick ass solos too. I am not saying Erik is bad or anything, just very different. I hope you see what I mean. You may disagree, I understand that it's probably a matter of personal preferences. Also do you happen to know if Pat isn't returning to CC because of legal issues solely or some falling out with the band eventually happened?
