+Tactical Transponder Tech 11 years later and i just used it thank you very much
We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version czcams.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.
Brilliant I have been trying to guess the code on a lock that I have NOW I can choose my own code THANKS your a diamond
super useful video!!! thanks!
many thanks for your mega information the toilet door lock is now fixed
Thanks, was a great help!
The order of the code does not matter. However, that's not a big security risk because there's no indication of how long the code is, so that's still a lot of possible codes.
As others have stated, you must press & hold the C button. This releases the delicate spring mechanism that holds the buttons when pressed normally. Pressing this when removing the pins opens a slot on the inside edge allowing them to slide in/out WITHOUT ANY REAL PRESSURE. (See how your man here has to press it back in against that spring pressure - wrong!) How do I know this? Not only does the ASEC version have a red sticker that warns you - personal ham-fistedness has proven if you don't : you damage the mechanism :)
Otherwise, a good. clear useful video. (Add a text edit about the C button??)

many thanks for your help
I've just changed the same code on 3 locks at my work today. All the blue and red inserts are the right way round. However 2 of the locks won't work. When you press the red numbers the inserts don't stay pushed out, they pop back in. Therefore the lever can't turn. It feels like there is no click when you push the digit in, its just springy. Am I missing something? One of the locks works fine and is identical to the other two. Help please ...... I've used up my day's swear words trying to sort this out.
Thanks
Very useful but please remove the music lol,
Can these only be sequenced from low to high.
In other words
Can it not hypocritically be changed to 8915x for the code to work or would the code set as instructed actually be set as 1589x
(for example)
Thanks neighbour
how do i take it out of the door?
ok, thanks, this is good information - im having trouble getting mine to work i think i may have to buy a new one!
@woj13s But that model doesn't have a key override so how can it be picked? Some codelocks have keys, but so do some lockeys.
I didn't press C and now the mechanism is broken can this be repaired?
Hende ma tokig
Thought you had to press C to get keys out then C to put then back in, no?!
I ve just blocked the "C" button cause I didn't press it when I changed the code... How can I repare my fault and be able to change again the code?
The instructions were on your user-manual, and warns you, by not pressing "C" you may render the lock, unusable, since the internal pins that trigger the code, will slide out of place, making it nearly impossible to get them back out, so remember, always press and hold "C" button when changing the code, it will hold the internal mechanism in place while relocating the pins!
It did not work
I KNOW WHERE THAT LOCK WOULD BE IF IT WERE MINE,,,,,IN THE SCRAP BIN
