Strange Light Feature! FAST ThyssenKrupp Traction Elevators-Marriott Hotel-San Jose, CA

These are some nice ThyssenKrupp elevators! I was surprised to discover that these were completely unlocked! These things are really fast and fun. The service cabinet was broken so I couldn't help but take a peek inside. The "Emergency Light Test" button is interesting and I don't think it's working right lol. It's supposed to test the emergency light but instead, it turns all the cab lights off when you press it! Other elevators I've seen with this button never do this. Very interesting. This is a really nice hotel and the staff is nice too!

Every MLK weekend, those elevators become a different sight, and push their maximum load capacity to the limits (and often fail).
Feels weird not seeing the lobby full of fursuits.
