- These are fairly new elevators and they already sound (and look) bad. That's quite a shame. This whole garage smells like sewer gas too. I do like the elevator area for the main elevators. It also appears that there was supposed to be 3 elevators, but they only installed 2 of them. The cab design makes it seem as if these are glass, but you get yeeted once the elevator starts moving. There are also two other elevators by themselves that serve slightly different floors. I filmed one of them. These are pretty beat up.

I misread the title and thought you were in Minnesota for a minute... but then Thunder Canyon or Wild Thing didn't appear... (Valley Fair is a large amusement park in the south-metro Twin Cities.) But I suppose, given time, these elevators will start to feel like an amusement park ride too...

Gen2's used to be nice, nowadays they're simply garbage. Schindler, TK or KONE would have put a far better elevator in.

Yeah, these don’t sound good. I think MEI hydraulic elevators with reflex leveling would’ve been their best bet.
So California banned Schindler 3300 and 5500s which run perfectly fine but they allow these crappy gen2s to be installed. Yeah that makes perfect sense.
3300 and 5500 are actually no longer banned!!! The CA versions were announced a few months ago!!
