I see why people try to compare the two groups. They both are quartet/vocal groups and won at the same show. But each group prefers different style. It’s almost like comparing apples and oranges. You like either one, neither one or both depending on what you like. And this song is not their original song. Please try their original album “The Alchemist”. They use their vocal styles geniously.

Thank you so much for reacting to La Poem's "Never Ending Story." I've known this group for three years now, and every time I watch their performances, whether on stage or on TV, I feel like my entire universe is filled with their amazing voices and the heavenly harmony they create together. Sometimes, I even find myself grabbing my heart while listening because I feel like my heart is going to explode from the deep emotions stirred by their voices. That's how 'punchy' their performances can be🥰 I really wish you could experience that, just like me.
Since their debut, the group has released many original songs as well as numerous cover songs. I hope you continue to react to their songs. I only wish you could listen to LA POEM in a live performance. The impact you are talking about takes on a different meaning. I’ve never been to any live performances where the actual sound becomes a physical, tangible punch. Their sound carries a different weight. I’ve been to concerts of both groups…

I think it's a question of favorite style. Even you prefer blue rather than red, it doesn't mean red is worse than blue. To be fair to see which group is your favorite style, try to listen to the same song. Both sang Warriors of Imagine Dragons. However if you haven't heard the original, listen to the original first.
Lapoem is the best team amongst the phantom singers from the 1st to the 4th, I believe!

Thank you for your reaction! They are all classically trained vocals so you may feel somewhat pious vibe listening to them. Almost overwhelming sound and the same amount of emotion will touch you on site. There are several crossover groups in Korea and each of them are really good but I can only resonate with Lapoem which is my taste.

Hi! Thank you so much for your thoughts on La Poem and I would have to say I do think that Forestella has great harmony. However, La Poem is the more classically trained group which allows them to focus more on individuality which actually creates an unique and well blended sound designed for each singer. Since they consist of two tenors, one counter tenor and one baritone, the range is unimaginable and you can hear this blend work and create the most beautiful sound.
I prefer la poem more than forestella.

I like La Poem but Forestella has more different colors in their voices ! Maybe its why all 4 of LaPoem are classical trained ! The Forestella Boys also are more entertaining at all.....showmen at best! One of my fav from LaPoem is "The War"!
Hallo. I agree, La Poem are excellent but Forestella is more versatile and they have that something that always pleasantly surprises.
La Poem are really good and it's definitely worth listening to more of them. For me, however, Forestella is the best quartet/vocal group at the moment. They are very versatile and their harmony is unsurpassed in my opinion. Especially Kang Hyungho's countertenor voice sounds more pleasant to my ears than Choi Sunghoon's falsetto, which is a bit sharp. But I wanted to introduce you to this quartet in my series and let you decide if you want to go on a La Poem journey.
have you followed this year's Phantom Singer? If so, what do you think of Libelante? I enjoyed all 3 final teams but still Forestella is it for me.

It’s great to watch phantom singers. Season 4 was great. I actually thought 3rd place winner CREZL had a very diverse group. They could follow the forestella route. The other two groups Libelante and Fortena will do well in the classical realm.
Forestella is the most known quartet/vocal group from PS at the moment but honestly Lapoem is better on vocal in my opinion. I think it’s not about who is better, it is about your preference. I have tried to like Forestella listening to a lot of their songs because I knew they were good. However it was not for me at all. You said versatility. I think Lapoem has more variety on their vocal level and it is more comfortable to listen in my ear. And Choi sung hoon has power in his voice even when he hits a high note. It’s because he is a professional counter tenor and he studied and knows how to make a sound. My opinion is opposite from how you felt. Kang Hyung Ho's sound sharper for me. Like you prefer Forestella better, I prefer Lapoem better. You can’t say which one is the better vocal group. They all are great vocal groups. They both won at the show.

No doubt these guys are very talented. But they don't quite hit as well as Forestella for me. I'd pay to see them live,don't get me wrong. But Forestella is the benchmark for ALL male quartets going forward and they are unmatched, imo. Thanks again mate!😊👍 ❤

They miss something. 🤷 when I'm listening to forestella, they touch me. La Poem sings nice, but they don't give me the same feeling.
Forestella has the best harmonization out of all the other groups but the other groups are better vocally. Plus the other groups could just be as popular if they wanted to. Of course Forestella is gonna want fame with a leader like Mingyu.
I can't believe the people who give such rude answers are fans of Forrestella. I'm so disappointed.
Different strokes for different folks. Forestella was my first group and they introduced me to Forte di quattro and La Poem through immortal song. I love all the top group of PS and would buy all tickets to see them live 😂. I hope we can all agree to disagree without diminishing the other talents.
