Zak Wolf's Cartoon Commentary: "Little Boy Blue"

- Here's another fursuit reaction/commentary on an old cartoon, this time of a pretty bizarre public domain cartoon: 1936's "Little Boy Blue" (a.k.a. "The Big Bad Wolf"), the Ub Iwerks ComiColor short! Zak Wolf observes how they mash up a few different children's stories into one, and the wolf in it being suspiciously similar to Disney's Big Bad Wolf, and the scarecrow character...
I saw this cartoon a long time ago on a bootleg dvd
I remember seeing this in preschool on some public domain tape they had which also had some Casper and Looney tunes cartoons on it.
I vaguely remember this short from one of my Public Domain cartoon compilation DVDs, though I can’t remember which disc it was on. Pretty much the only thing I remember from this short is the ending, when the hornet’s nest falls in the wolf’s pants.
Crazy how he looks so much like Zeke Wolf.

To me It’s sad that wolves in cartoons never turn good in the end, and that something bad always happens to them. Because people back in the day thought wolves were dangerous. But that’s not entirely true. Wolves are just protecting their territory. I do want the good guys to be ok. And yes, especially the wolves, who I want to be good at the end of every story. I love wolves so much they’re noble creatures that God created. In many cultures the wolf is seen as a symbol of strength, courage and determination. They are an emblem of strength. I don’t like that wolves are being considered the villain! I stand for wolves & the rest of God’s glorious creatures. God bless wolves. And all the rest of the innocent people and creatures that God has created.🙏🏻
For animation fans & historians don't know, Iwerks Studio was based in Beverly Hills, California.

I like that you do commentaries on shorts. Earlier this year I did a commentary on Once Upon a Studio to honor the life of Richard Sherman.
