After a little over a month since moving to Georgia we finally head out to hit up some of the Atlanta Hotspots and see what the city has to offer. From cake, clothes and cocktails in Atlantic station, to dessert in midtown, to dinner in the Sky at Ponce City Market, we’ve been enjoying everything about the city. My boyfriend and I have lived in New York our whole lives. Our lease is ending this December and I'm tired of spending $2400 a month on rent. We only have a little over 43K saved up. I want to move to Georgia, but he wants to move to North Carolina. I won't lie, I'm nervous. Your videos are helping me convince him to move to Georgia.
I recommend North Carolina the cost of living is somewhat reasonable. And it don't cost $800 to register your vehicle LOL 6:15
Georgia is Full and High now it's not what it used 2 be relocated here from NY the year of 9/11 I'm a 2nd time homeowner but the prices now smh! Good luck

I'm always doing the thing I hate most on Sundays and that is doing laundry for the upcoming week but watching you guys is the highlight of my Sunday. It always helps me get through the day. I’m so glad that you guys are adjusting to Atlanta so well and you have a community where you feel secure and comfortable. It’s always a little intimidating when you move to a new place and are in the process of getting adjusted to your new surroundings. My husband and I moved to a new area of our city two years after we got married and we had to get adjusted, and we didn’t even leave the city we were in. So I know it had to be something to move to a whole new state. Pretty soon ya’ll will know Atlanta like the back of your hand. Continued blessings to the two of you and DJ. And glad to see Alec more comfortable in driving around the city on his own (saw that in a previous video).

Maybe you should put a hard plastic mat under your chair. I think it can be bought at office depot or any office supply store. By you rolling back & forth on the carpet, the carpet might start shredding apart and tear. Hotel Mazelin Manor, 😅😅

Ok fellas, I am loving the fact that you are taking it in stride. Now, something equally as important. God knows this is a hot button issue on so many levels; as Brian said:" it is what it is". The next place to look for is your local voting precinct. Please please please make sure you are registered in time for the November election. Whew! P.S. Not only do you and Alec have to reregister the vehicle in Georgia, you also have to switch over your i.d's. So, off to the DMV; again!
The good thing now is your registration will be $20 every year. One thing I do love about GA

Getting your car switched to another state can be a hassle sometimes. I think the people who work at the DMV are programmed to be obnoxious. Did they mention how long you have to change yours and Alec’s drivers license? Most states give you a timeline. ❤❤

Having a good barber is a must because, for me, a haircut should be completed within 30 to 35 minutes. Any longer, and I start growing impatient. I only visit barbers who accept appointments.
