All you guys have enlightened me during the boredom of the lockdowns. I started following Chris around March to prepare myself for my second trip to Tokyo, and when it became sure that I couldn't go this year, it really aided in getting over it.
I've finally had a good laugh today. I think my fam have covid and we are lockdown for xmas....you made me forget it for a while. I've also had the podcast on whilst I drove my long trip to work this year, so thank you for helping make 2020 a little better.

Not many people in the U S know this: KFC has declared Christmas Day in Japan as "Official Eat Fried Chicken Day" I first heard about this on a travel documentary made by NHK Japan tv NHK is very busy exporting lots of programs every single day to my satellite TV provider. There is a whole channel devoted exclusively to NHK tv exports.
Normal Natsuki is already endearingly funny. Him being the drunk uncle in the bunch is just hilarious. In Bisdak terminology, we call this behavior "maoy," which is when your otherwise shy and silent uncle becomes drunk and starts going off about the grievances he had kept to himself all year. I watched to many reality TV shows. I think this is better than survivor and the bachelor. KFC is just fine. But they did away with my favorite things, Potato wedges were really good and crispy. I miss them so much. I would get a go cup and they got rid of that also. A go cup of chicken tenders and potato wedges with some A1 steak sauce was something I use to enjoy. Everything I love is eventually done away with it feels like.
I'm from the Isle of Man so I got excited when Natsuki said it. But I realised he just meant Ireland was a manly place and knew I shouldn't get my hopes up considering most people in the UK can't even point to where the Isle of Man is on a map hahaha
