My favorite part about this game is the unique winning/losing animations, where Garnet is the ONLY character to take a loss so hard she COMBUSTS
Steven universe sucks, adventure time sucks and all the similar looking cartoons with designs that look like it came from tumblr made by a 10 year old living off of red bull and skittles. Unimaginative and stupid.
It actually makes a bit of sense since in Steven Universe when a gem takes too much damage they lose their physical form

This is way more refined than the Nickelodeon one, specially the animations since attacks do feel weighty instead of feeling like you are punching air.
It does look a bit floaty, but otherwise yea! looks really fun lol

Idk, my friend did but then moved it back because having it under characters is better for reduced eye movement, so you can focus on their position at all times. I would call the smash bros way the 'proper place' for this game, it's just preference

you can also remove the outline on characters, there is a lot of UI settings in the game
I really love the voice acting in this game. My favorite interaction between characters is Shaggy and Batman and my favorite quote is “I should called you, ‘Bruised’ Wayne when I’m done with you”. “Eat this hippie”.
When you do Shaggy's remove shirt taunt there's a chance he says that he's only using like 0.001% of his power
He says that in response to dying to superman, batman also has a quote he says from dying to shaggy "the rumors about his power were true"

Funny how whenever Shaggy powers up and attacks once the person on the receiving end just dies
The way it should be
I feel like atleast one of the looney toon characters have to have the ability to float midair for a few seconds if they runoff a platform
I think all the Loony Tunes characters that are depicted as villains like Marvin The Martian or the ones that never catch their prey like Taz should have that ability.
Either that or if Wile E. Coyote comes to the game as a playable character it should be exclusive to him.

Smash Bros has that, as well as some other platformers. That mechanic is dubbed "Coyote time" because of the character Wild E Coyote not having gravity effect him until he looks down. Basically, its how long you are "grounded" until you start falling
I was super skeptical about this game originally, but seeing more gameplay, it could be really solid. Can't wait to give it a try when the open beta starts!

Just the sole fact that they gave the Shagsworth fit its own set of voicelines is amazing. I was already sold by how in character everyone was in that trailer from a bit ago but damn.
I just hope they eventually do the same thing with an Adam West Batman costume 🙏

@@MicroChelikKovadziri Wouldn't say that's a bad thing. You can say that Mortal Kombat sucks because it copied Street Fight or any shooter game is bad because it copied DOOM but that sounds dumb doesn't it? All in all I love the game. Its also not restricted to the switch and its awful online.

They did their research for sure
Jake turns into a house in an episode of the Stakes miniseries from season 7 "May I Come In?"
He turns into a horse multiple times, specifically in "Princess Cookie" and "Angel Face." Might appear in a few other episodes as well
He also turns into a car multiple times but I think the specific model he turns into in the game is from "Candy Streets"

It's funny how good and iconic the looney tunes, DC characters like batman etc and scooby doo look like compared to the dumb, uninspiring characters from these newer cartoons like steven universe n adventure time etc

Is still funny to me that they decided to use Godly Shaggy, and not only use it, they also give him freaking lore, the lore is pretty simple, he was in an investigation in a spooky mansion with Scooby, they split up and Shaggy ended found a strange glowing crystal, he eat it thinking that it was rock candy, he blacked out and awoken with his powers.

I usually cringe when companies try to be “in touch” with their fanbase, but in this case, I think they did it really well! I let out genuine laughs at some of the moments in the trailer/some of the voice lines. I get the feeling Shaggy is gonna be *really* popular LOL
I like the color around the characters because it helps you keep track of who is who when the screen zooms out.

I loved A Pup Named Scooby Doo. My favorite episode was when they all went into his dog house, and it was huge on the inside like the TARDIS.

10:30 I don't think Mark Hamill has voiced the Joker in a while. If anything, it'll likely be the legendary voice actor Richard Epcar- and quite frankly he does a fantastic soundalike for him.
According to Behind The Voice Actors Mark Hamill last played Joker in a Scooby Doo crossover in 2019, so it's totally possible he could do it!
He voiced Joker in the late 2018 videogame Lego DC Supervillains.
Did he really? That's good! I want to be wrong- I very much want Mark Hamill to keep doing Joker stuff, it's kind of iconic at this point.
Yeah I'd be totally down for the other voice actors that have played Joker over the years to be cast too, but especially since Kevin Conroy is Bats I would love to hear Mark Hamill back.

SO glad they made white-gloved Bugs the default as opposed to having the yellow gloves he had in the initial reveal and HBO Max shorts.

I'm not going to lie, I'm actually getting excited about this game coming out.
So excited to see content creators finally getting to have fun with this crazy game. There's so much to enjoy here. I think it's a very promising start for a FTP game! It's been such a long time since I've watched Scooby Do, but I've heard it's better as an adult... Maybe I need to rewatch. Also, the theories on Scooby being an alien or something are pretty fun...
I recommend giving Be Cool Scooby-Doo or Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated a watch.
I recommend watching Mystery Incorporated. It's content is more tailored for adult audiences, has a serial plot and character development, and if you try to explain the finale to anyone you sound like you've gone completely insane.
Mystery Inc. is a definite watch, Be Cool went in a... different direction, so you might not like it. Scooby Doo and Guess Who is a revival of The New Scooby Doo Movies, so feel free to cherry pick the episodes with a celebrity you like. Bill Nye and Neil DeGrasse Tyson share an episode, Weird Al gets one, and they even have one with Cher that references the old episode they made with Sonny and Cher. Fair warning, some of the episodes are... bland. Like the celebrity was only doing it for clout, so there was no creativity and the episode was paint by numbers. I think the episode with Terry Bradshaw was probably one of the best, and I didn't even know who he was! It felt like they REALLY went for it. There's also one where the Scooby gang meets Frank Welker, Grey Griffin, Matt Lillard, and Kate Micucci; apparently they're HUGE fans for some reason.

This game looks badass. If you do another video on this game I hope you experiment more with the team play moves, like how teammates can use bugs’ burrow. That was something that stood out to me in the trailer. Great video!

Favorite Scooby Doo is “Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated”. Great story and good villains. Also the lore building is crazy. Norville Rogers.
I also switched the standard and side attacks/specials since it feels more like smash
I think Ultra Instinct Shaggy was cannonized because of the online memes, the original Shaggy actor, and Mortal Kombat.

I want to play Garnet and Steven so badly when it comes out. Honestly I love most of these characters and am familiar with more of them. Basically so far the only one I didn't know was from Game of Thrones.

A Pup Named Scooby Doo was my childhood. I find it a hilarious deconstruction of Scooby Doo, in general.

Love the overall art design and aesthetic of the game so far, the characters certainly feel more alive. And the stages? There's not even a million things flapping around, it just feels right in balance.
Them using Tom’s iconic scream from the show whenever he gets K.O’d in-game, is already enough to guarantee I pick this up whenever it releases.

He might be S-tier in the game, but he's Z tier in terms of character design from a Z tier show. Adventure time, steven universe and all these other garbage newer cartoons are uninspiring and dumb. Adventure time for example is made by someone that lacks any originality or creativity. They copy from other established and iconic media like zelda and then coin it under the term "inspired"

The writing is often ass and just caters to autistic people that eat skittles for breakfast. Notice how these new cartoons all want to be "adventurous" in their theme? Most of them also use very similar art styles (steven universe, gravity falls, star something etc) like they brought it over from tumblr
