I revisited recently and it’s honestly a really charming show.
I will forever always have Zebra Donkey locked away in my memory. I don't know why but I feel like that episode was always playing back when the show was coming out. El Tigre was really cool to me as a kid.

Kinda sad that so many characters got sidelined like PToast Man, Shredder and Toph but the gameplay looks way better now thankfully. Im just a little hurt that my favorite Blind Earth Bender didn't return.

19:13 I'd say Korra is definitely physically stronger than Aang, but she is cocky and impulsive, making her act before she thinks more often than not, which then leads to stuff getting worse before it can get better.
I still love Korra to bits, mind you. She is a great character.
Yeah it's not a simple answer. Also gotta keep in mind you are following 12 YO Aang who only received Air bending training vs Korra who is I believe starts at 17/18 YO, who spent time mastering 3/4 elements since she was like, 5 or 6. But Aang had a much easier time with spirituality despite that power gap.
Without spoiling, I will say that Korra's enemies are way way stronger than Ozai, so that also affects direct comparisons. Korra woulda given a pretty even fight with Ozai even in Season 1 form.
Korra is one of the most physically gifted avatars and was way better at bending then aang

I'd say korra would win base to base but avatar state aang should be over korra. Still not an easy thing to answer tho
I'm unsure if Season 1 Korra would have had an even fight with Ozai, especially if we're talking about comet enhanced Ozai. I think Korra as of season 2 prior to the finale would have had a better time, since by that time she had unlocked the Avatar State and still has past lives to draw power from. She doesn't unlock the Avatar State until the very end of season 1, and even then she doesn't have as much experience with it as she does in season 2 onwards.
Seasons 3 and 4 Korra could probably put up a fight, but her Avatar State is seemingly weaker thanks to having lost all connection to her past lives, as well as having lasting trauma from her fight with Zaheer which disrupts her Avatar State. Maybe post season 4 Korra would do better, but she still doesn't have past lives to draw power and knowledge from, so her State nonetheless isn't as powerful as it was prior to UnaVaatu. @@raze2012_
Shredder wasn't always voiced by Jim Cummings. Phil Avery voiced him in the original cartoon. That said, my favorite Shredder voice was Scottie Ray from the 2003 cartoon.
Also, I'd recommend giving El Tigre a watch. Manny's more or less chaotic neutral thanks to having superheroes *and* supervillains in his family tree, and it's hilarious.

Jim Cummings feels like the best replacement option, given he's a period appropriate actor.
Cummings did voice Shredder for the Vacation Season of the original show since Avery was not available for that period of time
2003 Shredder is the best Shredder imo. Best voice and best theme music from any TMNT cartoon.
El Tigre was good, it's about a kid who's dad is a superhero, his grandfather is a supervillain, and he can't decide which he wants to be.
btw, Gir's voice erroneously isnt pitch shifted. he sounds like he's low on batteries
Srtana de los muertos is indeed an enemy from El Tigre. in the series her mystic guitar is her weak point and the sourse of her power. The guitar can bring back the death and proyect energy from it. In the series she also has a running joke of her constantly kidnapping El Tigre's friend Frida Suarez.
I appreciate that the scrapped characters still make appearances.

19:13 just to be a little nerdy, I think in Avatar it’s canon that each avatar becomes stronger than the last one since they’re guided by their ancestors and learn from them through their visions of them. And Korra kinda goes on cosmic adventures in a spirit world, fighting off the manifestation of evil itself so I feel like it kinda takes more strength to take that down than Aang had. Not to hate on Aang, Korra’s spirit arc had her doing all sorts of powerful shit so I think it’s just kinda obvious that she’s much stronger than Aang was.

Jim Cummings was one of the stand ins back in the day for Shredder's main voice actor James Avery (R.I.P Uncle Phil)
Shredder USED to be voiced by James Avery, aka Uncle Phil himself from Fresh Prince. After he passed, I dunno who voices classic Shredder in his future appearqnces butnit DOES sound like Jim Cummings in this game at least.

A Pizza doesnt by definition come with sauce and cheese, there are pizzas without sauce and cheese, but with different toppings, theres pizza with a white sauce, and its also important to note that even saying cheese pizza isnt entirely accurate as there are pizzas with different cheese toppings, sometimes multiple.

I hope this game adds Miko Kubota from Glitch Techs, Timmy Turner and more characters from the late 2000s to present day in DLC! That's the era I personally grew up with.

Yeah, seeing characters interact in Subspace Emissary was insanely fun, especially as a kid. Probably tougher for game development to make those fancy cutscenes, and you can’t get away with only text interactions since half the cast doesn’t talk.

It's weird knowing that a bunch of characters from the first game isn't in this one.
We gained Gertie, but lost Helga. Got a few new Avatar guys, but lost Toph. Glad Lucy is still in, but it's odd that Lincoln is out. Wonder what their reasonings were.
Smash did the same thing from melee to brawl but no one ever brings that up

When I saw that scene after Blad appeared for the first time I realized it was Clockwork, the ghost of time. One of my favorite Danny Phantom characters.
My point exactly whenever I see that character I get so happy, even though he doesn't appear too much in the show. It's nice to see him get brought back in the game but I guess they're not going to do the whole thing with him changing from a little kid to an old man in this...?
The original shredder from the 80s was played by Uncle Phil from fresh Prince of Bel-Air James Avery however in a later season whenever he was not available Jim Cummings did voice shredder for a bit

Wow I'm early I got this game right as it was available and I'm having a blast it was a bit slow on start up and there's some problems with controls on the campaign other than that I'm having a great time hope there's updates to fix some issues soon

31:41 I'm 99% certain that is Jim. But, he didn't always voice him (he could have voiced him only for these games). In the original TMNT show, he was voiced by the late James Avery. That's right! The turtles had to save the day from Uncle Phil.
so glad they made the APM (actions per minute) less excessively high; besides being a half-baked game, one of the biggest downfalls of nasb 1 was how ludicrously high the on-release tech skill ceiling was.
tech skill only ever gets more complex as a game ages and players make discoveries, intentionally starting with such a high tech APM was honestly irresponsible. even a few melee players called it the hand killer.

You should give El Tigre a shot! It's only a season long and it's made by the director of The Book of Life & Maya and The Three. Also did character design work for shows like ChalkZone, Mucha Lucha, and Class of 3000 and all of the personality he puts in those works shines in El Tigre.

I enjoy the fact that there's a campaign mode because that means we have something that's sorta reminiscent of those old nicktoons unite games!

Avatar's have the added memories of the previous but it's hard to say who is stronger since Aang got 40 extra years where we don't know what he could do before he died. He could be even more OP than he was, but Korra is technically stronger since she is

You know what would be a fun addition as a stage: The Kid's Choice Awards stages with all the slime canons as obstacles
El Tigre was great. Amazing Mexican representation when he was introduced. His whole deal is that he is somewhat stuck in the middle when it comes to his family legacy of big cat themed heroes and villains (technically, they took the names of big cats, not necessarily costumes), with both his hero father and villain grandfather actively swaying him to both sides. I personally preferred him as a hero, but it was a great show where people got to choose the climax of the show when it got to the finale.
Nice all around. I enjoyed the first All Star Brawl, but much like Choc it felt like more could be done with it. NASB2 basically just looks like they took what made the first game fun, kept that, and just improved everything everywhere. All the characters look great and have been reworked with most of them being voiced by their respective VAs, the roster looks diverse with hopefully some unlockables and future DLC, costumes for all the fighters, some revamped and even new mechanics, tons of content in single player, and honestly just looks fun and much better than the first. Hope people don't sleep on the sequal cause it looks like the Devs put a lot of time and effort into the sequal.
Jim Cummings voiced the 1980's Shredder once or twice, but he wasn't the original voice actor. That honor belonged to Uncle Phil himself, James Avery.

Korra is more aggressive than Aang and is physically stronger and more durable, but Aang is much faster, more agile, and is better at bending in general. Also Korra does start with more bending than Aang at the start.
actually, i think Korra is better at bending in general because she has far more experience in the other elements than the Aang we see
@@minkusaurus Comparing the time it took for Aang to master the elements compared to Korra, Aang would easily surpass Korra in experience if they were the same age. If Aang never held back he would win easily.

Whether or not Korra is actually STRONGER than Aang is still a bit of a toss-up but she's a more aggressive fighter overall.
She has all the avatars knowledge (including aang) , she's stronger.

Korra is canonically stronger than Aang, however She has more control over the avatar state, which means her avatar state tends to be less destructive since she has a tendency to control how much damage she deals
If you want to be technical, in the Avatar State, the next Avatar will always be stronger bc they are channeling the power of previous Avatars.
But individually, I think a lot of the fandom agrees that Aang would be stronger than Korra/more potential, since the whole "Master all Elements until Summer Ends" no other Avatar that we know of was put in such a situation
Plus, korra gets her ass kicked constantly even while in the avatar state.

Nice! As a child of the '90s, this looks like quite the blast from the past. Rocko and Angry Beavers were some of my favorites. Tis a shame Filburt and Heffer aren't playable! 😋 I can't believe how much more polished this game looks in terms of content and gameplay mechanics compared to the original!
Kudos to the developers! It is also amazing how much voice talent they were able to hire for this as well! It sounds like they got a lot of the original voice actors to reprise their role (well, except for the few voice actors that have passed like Gary Owens).

To put it simply, Sartana De los Muertos is the El Tigre equivalent of an "Avengers Level Threat". Her and her family are so dangerous that both Manny's Super Hero Dad and his Super Villain grandpa do not want Manny remotley near her.
