How (if at all) does VR affect frame rate? I started off on flightsims in the 80's but haven't played them much of late because i don't have a VR ready computer, and the idea of playing flightsims on a screen doesn't feel the same knowing that VR exists.

Got a 4060ti, but the sim looks a bit off compared to all the benchmarks
dunno how your getting over 100fps at 12:23 with DX12 +FG DLSS when ive tuned to the same settings and i am only getting around 40 to 50fps what am i doing wrong

I thought I needed an expensive card to run this game but then found out about the AMDX3D chip. Installed that and between my 2080 at 2560 x 1440 and new AMD chip I'm running an average of 85 - 98 FPS now in DLSS mode. I run it all at Ultra settings and the Cost of the chip was $322. Cost for a new card upwards of over $1100. I honestly don't think 4k is worth it other than bragging rights but that's just my opinion.
you do know that rtx 4050-60 cards are cheap right? I know it isn’t a good upgrade but you get new technology, I ran 20-35 fps on rtx 3090 TI on Microsoft fs and somehow I run smoother with an rtx 4060

hi, I have a i3-12100f also and in very cpu intensive areas like cities, the 4060 is very limited so you can only get 60 fps with dlss and/or frame generation. But in other areas like mountains, i always get around 60 fps or more with max settings

@@sebastianvelasquez7653 go with ryzen 7 7800x3d, it has more 3d cache giving an advantage over any other cpu
and for the gpu a 4070ti would pair great with it in general, although the game is more cpu heavy
What's FG?
FG is Frame-Generation which is only available on the Nividia 4000 series graphics cards. It's a way to make the game appear smoother/have higher frames per second.
