Welcome to episode 79 of the Commander's Guild: "Big Brother is Watching" Every week I go to scryfall.com and randomly select a card, making a budget (under $100) commander deck around it and showcasing a gameplay video of the deck. This week I'm joined by Asylum Gaming, Bilal, and AngryCow.
This week's "random" card (it was actually suggested by zombie32killah on Reddit) is Rag Man and we're using Nebuchadnezzar as the commander. We have three main goals with this deck: have perfect information about what's in our opponents' hands by constantly looking at them, making our opponents discard their cards, and stealing our opponents' cards from the top of their libraries.
If you have suggestions for any future deck ideas (or want to request a specific card to build around), let me know in the comments. Hope you enjoy it!

Wow, I really like the commander that you chose for Ragman. They immediately make each other like 100x better.

Thank you! Usually I struggle to pick a commander for these decks but this one was easy, I knew as soon as I saw Nebuchadnezzar that he’d be best commander for sure.

I just built this today with the Ancient Brass Dragon upgrade. Very fun deck, thank you.

That was what I thought when I built the deck too! It’s a fun card but hard to find a home for.

Not going to lie, never played with or really new about either of the cards showcased for this (The commander or random card I mean). But this seems like a very interesting deck, even for myself who normally doesn't really play blue at all. Waste Not was a favorite card of mine back in the day, the potential payoff from it is so much fun to have and even now I have it in my Nath Deck. Some very sweet and cool card interactions going on, and excited to see how this deck will perform. When it comes to the opponents Kruphix is the only one I'm familiar with, but only in the 99 as opposed to the commander (including myself playing it in God Squad). Kruphix (especially in this Eldrazi deck), is the one I'm concerned about from the outside looking in, but after you explaining the other decks, Tivit does seem like a scary thing to be facing down. Although Experience counter synergy is something you don't see much of (since it wasn't a common mechanic) - so seems like this would be fun to check out. Another fantastic game, congrats to the winner. Love seeing Eldrazi in Commander, Void Winnower is such a cool and powerful card and always great to see it being played (Actually play it in Modern Tron, and even as I'm tweaking it, I still want to due to the power it has). This was such a fun watch, and just truly enjoy the content you give us each week. Cheers. #Roadto500

I agree, I think Eldrazi are a super fun deck to play. I’ve done a jund eldrazi deck in the past but having to build under a $100 budget means that it’s almost impossible to include any of the titans, which really lowers the power level. Thanks for the comment though! I always look forward to hearing your thoughts of the other commanders, it’s nice having another perspective. 😊
