- I’m still not super comfortable talking on camera but its something I want to do without feeling the need to plan everything. I’ve been enjoying this entire creative process and its important for me to make sure every video I release isn’t just well put together but enough to make everyone feel something from it. I wouldn’t mind doing more vlogs on the channel and I hope you guys enjoy this video!!

This is relatable, and so beautiful. ☺️ I love this line especially, “The more you fantasize about an experience, the more it becomes less enjoyable when it happens.” It’s true. It’s good to have an idea of what you want but overthinking, particularly the potentially negative outcomes, could really ruin the whole experience when our expectations aren’t met. I aspire to be able to express emotions as clearly and poetically as you.

I feel like with summer, no matter how young or old I am, I give myself this immense pressure to have an eventful season before it ends. All I really been doing so far is working and running errands, but I feel lame going back home instead of, idk, going to the beach, or hitting the club, or going on a road trip with friends. And with everyone's schedules and finances being vastly different, summer plans aren't always a guaranteed thing for us. So I try not to beat myself up over not living it up or whatever, but the fomo is REAL.

One thing I like doing is setting an overall intention/vision for what the next season of our life to look like (or literal season of the calendar year). When we have specific details, we’re likely to be disappointed but when we set an overall intention, we can’t go wrong! I used to have so many plans and visions for the summer - travel, fun, adventures, new experiences. This summer though is the first time I’m just staying put and focusing on my business and I’m honestly happy with that because that is the expectation and vision I set for myself this year! 🎉 exact details? Likely to change and adapt and that’s ok!

I always look forward to your videos. I find it fascinating on how you articulate your thoughts and understand what your feeling and potentially why your feeling it. I love when i can understand myself like that and sometimes wish my peers would too, but were all in our own life journeys. It’s Cool that you liked going to the beach alone! Finding comfort with being by yourself and not shying away from activities based on if you have someone to accompany you or not is a gift in itself.

I feel like the more time we spend alone with ourselves, the more anticipation gets to us. It's easy to obsess over things that haven't happened yet. Guess the moral of the story is "enjoy the moment" or, in your case "be satisfied with the outcome" rather than meticulously prepare for a final product. How you get there is how you get there. We deserve to be happy in the present.
Actually this year, a lot of things goes wrong w me and I fell like all the work that i do it doesn't matter, so now i fell numb most of the time.
