I wish they could still monsters that are in the Godzilla franchise, like King ghedorah, or other monsters, but I don't know if they need the rights to Godzilla for that or not

17:58. 89 was actually sculpted by Brodie Perkins and refined by someone in-house at Neca. Once again bringing someone entirely new to the line with there first sculpt. Also to note this seems to the the only classic series Neca Godzilla to have been digitally sculpted. I believe Trevor was involved in some way but to what extent it unknown
The monsterarts figure is honestly on of my favorite figures I own, the larger scale with that articulated tail makes me very happy and wish they did a burning Godzilla with this gimmick
Really sad that right when NECA really started to raise the bar with their Godzilla figures, they had to give up the license for the big guy.

neca is the cheaper version of sh monstersart it does not suck it is very good for saving money the sh monstersart is more expensive

Personally would like to see a Lights, Sound, Music version of Burning Godzilla with the death scene music, full body lights, and of course the red spiral ray
Same or Godzilla 2000 because the music from that movie is very underrated

I am so glad I got the SH version when it first came out. I was actually hesitant at first until my comic book store acquired it then I decided I had to have it.

funny thing: my NECA bio goji's right calf/lower leg is backwards, and I'm scared to twist it around to fix it cuz I don't wanna break a $60 figure. And yes it came like that, but at first I thought the leg was just MEGA tight and I didn't realize till I watched this when I looked at your figure (at the time I bought it was 64$, yea)
Same here. I can't get the hinge joint to move that much for neca 1989. When I got him out of the box, the hinge joints for the wrists wouldn't move at all.
I did blow dry him but the right wrist is still giving me problems.
Bandai has a bad habit of overdesigning really simple features. I'm really happy about the new '89 announcement because I'd rather just have a normal figure of that design rather than one with all the features that hardly work properly.
You might be about to bring this up as I watch this, but my biggest complaint is there isn't just an on off switch for the lights. I can't get a good shot of him lit up

shma is realising a godzilla 89 some time but I'm extremely hype and that's not me when shma realise a new figure because sloppy paint or no paint in some areas derp eyes and questionable sculpt but with 89 I like it's suit and movie and the promo picks have some questionable blue paint but that's probably the lighting of the light

I still don't get why this was diet, they are the same design, scale shouldn't matter, they both articulated, well sculpted 89 biogoji figures, this should've been a regular figure fight, I know three new one is coming out soon but still

Those are covered in the other areas. Where a figure may be hindered in paint, it more than likely has nothing to do with articulation or accessories.

Amazon has a godzilla neca 2019 that costs $108.??
It's the bootleg one, the sculpt is really bad on it. For 108 don't get it. I saw the bootleg version go for 50 dollars which isn't that bad since it has decent articulation like an SHMA, but it's ultimately not an SHMA.
