Rise of kingdoms is truly a wonderful RTS or real time strategy game where there are different ages and wonders. One of these different ages or KvKs would be KvK 2 and season of conquest, much like Age of Empires or Starcraft 2, there are many reasons why some people would like to have more technology and fight people that are weaker. There are reasons for why someone would not want to go back to Kvk 2 Season 2 regardless if they are in an Imperium Kingdom, a Rising Star, or A B C D kingdoms. - Hry

As someone who played in season of conquest and went back to repeat kvk 2 and 3, it was definitely the best way to spend 6 months asking:
“Why did I do this to myself?”

@@XanderROK its 2 months for each one. Not 6 months. KvK3 is fine if you’re on the winning side. Now SoC commanders are KvK3, you still get Legendary Tavern & Museum.
The only thing you don’t have are SoC specific equipment.

I have T5 + Good gear, but my commanders lack for SOC (I took a break). I've spent 8 months in 2882 working to mold the kingdom. When migration came up, King made a small mistake that prevented our power cap increase to my power level.
Ultimately what I thought was a disaster, proved to be a mistake that I will benefit from.
I'm selfishly looking to stomp players, as most of my kills were prior to KP integration in 2019 (106m kills), so they don't register. But I neglected to consider SOC barbs/and sovereign keys.

My experience so far cross-migrating. I went back to KvK 2 in beginning September 2023. KvK is ending this week. So you get 2 months before you get to use your Season 3 commanders again.
First, where you cross-migrate to is somewhat important. I was desperate to leave my kingdom because they fell from Imperium, dropped to Seed A, but we had so many deadweight whales we kept getting matched against Imperiums. So I went to a Vietnamese kingdom as an English speaker.
This had a major con in KvK2 because they were 90% Vietnamese & they were a 1 alliance kingdom. So when the next zone opened, we would win & kick ass when it was Vietnamese hours, but the moment they went to sleep. They lost position. This ended with us having only 3 days of fighting. Thus it was boring.
Biggest issue is I ended up falling out of top 20 honor because my kingdom had to share altar with a deadweight ally that was useless & didn’t help during our downtime.
I practically mostly chained barbs. And not only did I not have an expertise YSG, I used 5 marches with AOE to make it go faster. So I was using marches like Aethel/Frederick lol. Which wasn’t that bad but def cost efficient for my AP. I didn’t really have to use as much AP persay.
So WHERE you cross-migrate affects the experience greatly.
The best way for F2P and low spender is play 1 or 2 SOC take some important commanders from the wheels and MGE then migrate back to kvk 2 and use every gold head on SoC commanders only + you will have enough time to craft your legendary equipment and when you reach SOC again you will be more than ready to fight. I wouldn’t prefer going back because it is boring but if you having difficulty with maxing commanders this idea will work fine for you.
Yeah and then suddenly there is new commander coming up idk going back to kvk seems boring AF especially to those who already has 5 good marches and want to go back capping themselves only for the reason not spending and saving idk bout that

I know some guy from kvk who migrated all the way back to the freaking preperation season. Proof is he cannot migrate to a kingdom 2 days older than his current because his account is too old
Good points. I am in kvk3 now, having only 2 SoC kvk experience. But migrating back is not as bad as it seems, and i can save sculptures for the latest SoC commanders by the time i get there again.

Rok jailed us in soc it's very difficult to migrate back almost got bored and planing to quit this game it's too difficult for t4 players in soc kvk
Part 3 of my experience so far cross-migrating
I’ve been building troops, increasing power, able to take time researching & finishing T5 research. So my power growth is about 6mil in 2 months. I was at 49mil-50mil. My account is also 3 years old tho.
Also KvK2 in 2020 was way different than KvK2 in 2023. The map is different. Only problem is all 8 kingdoms conceded and ended the KvK with 25 days left.
I’ve only really stockpiled research speedups. Training speedups have been used up a lot.
You can save on healing speedups at least because there was no fighting.
No sovereign keys so I missed on those. Thats the biggest downside
Part 2 of my experience so far cross-migrating. Positives
I don’t know if these are benefits but I already had 3 SoC commanders expertise & 2 marches.
So I’ve been saving all my universals. It simply wasn’t worth spending universals because my Gold key commanders were smacking ppl lol.
Most of my gold keys are 5511. So I had that benefit. So 0 need to invest in any Season 2 gem/mge commanders.
However, MGE I got a ranked position a lot.
Since I left SoC, I wanna say in the last 2 months, I’ve collected almost 700 universals. Thats from the KvK2 rewards, being able to have easier rankings in Game of Power/etc events, other kingdom based events where I can do minimum effort, plus being VIP 13.
The biggest benefit has been universal heads. And stockpiling gems. I think I saved about 70k gems in my bag. Probably a lil more if you count the 28k I put into 2 More Than Gems. I did do Egg Event as well. But I didn’t need to invest in equipment as much. So I stockpiled at least enough to craft 2 Ring of Dooms.
I haven’t migrated back but I have 2 reasons why I considered it… no Crystal tech & time to save universals/materials before rejoining SOC- I have good enough commanders to be useful in kvk 2. Bonus point, noob kingdoms tend to be more fun than serious imperiums 😂

I think all of the points here are valid nice video. I myself went back to KVK 2 and regretted it, BUT I can win MGE’s and Zeniths easy. The KD is dead and so is the Seed. I’m sure I got lucky but kvk 2 again was a pain in the …

I use (Scipio/alex) with legendary equipments all iconic. One Time 4 whale players swarmed this march with 19 marches:from them 4×(Guan scipio), Attila nevsky, Boudica/Artemesia, Attila/Takeda, Nebu/YSG..... etc.. but I lost 50k severely wounded troops and the enemies lost 26k. I had Book of Vengeance and Horn on this march. In SOC KVK.
season of conquest has many stories of kvks..enjoy it with different matchmaking strategies, more unique contents and fight with beast player or enemies..thats the best gameplay for rise of kingdom
I missed most of kvk1 and half of kvk2 since i wasnt playing, so i went back to pre kvk2 and i think it is working out much better.Im picking up power very well so far, but after looking at this im sure i wont migrate back again :)
ur account progresses slower but you’d still be a demon for the next 3 kvk’s and by the time you enter real soc your account would be on par with other ppl in soc.

i dont agree what have soc commanders to kvk 2 and 3 ? you cant even use them. Going back i the best thing you can make as experienced f2p player to save more sculptures playing higher and having importand role , your opinion is not bad but i think it depends on what a player want.
With the new update coming you can get soc commanders before you go to soc so let’s see how it benefits, though I wish this migration system gets more flexible for f2p

why would joining a dead kingdom be a bad idea? wouldnt MGE and other big competitive events be easier to rank in?
1st a legit dead kingdom is pretty rare to just be able to go into freely
2nd people who join dead kds almost never leave, it's almost like playing a different game where you can actually consistently compete with everyone. Most who come out of a situation like that generally quit soon after.
3rd A dead kd is generally headed by someone with a lot of power, money, or time, if you go into one and just a few players that are better than you come in, you've wasted your passports and time.

Going back is not gonna nuke anything lmao , but depends , if you are in SoC with actual whales who come at you with 7 marches then going back to kvk 2 for 2 season seems logical , you will never compete with the whales but you can get decently stronger in that 2 season to be able to enjoy SoC too, this is a game , the goal is to have fun, getting wrecked by whales ín SoC is not fun , sure you have more fight going on and more experienced leadership etc but if you only get wrecked then it is pointless , I would much rather enjoy the fights on the field even with 'bad' commanders and unexperienced leadership , if anything it will just boost your kills significantly , get you much more reward from the event , many mge commander and time to get better gear, I don't see why it would nuke your account
I mean the entire video is about why it will nuke your account, when you say you can get more gear and MGE commanders, you only get Pre-SOC comms which are bad compared to SOC and you don't get more Rings of Doom, KvK Gear, Actual MGE comms, and soon to be the Armaments that will come out in the SOC shop

Well more imp is the fact that only 30 guys can do cross season migration and those slot fill in nano second. I had a spot for kvk2 migration but lost it to illegal
It's basically based on luck to migrate to kvk2/3 now.
Lilith needs to make it so king can decide those 30 guys instead of random migrations

But kingdoms usually wanna select those 30 guys beforehand n make sure others r frightened enough to not migrate without permission. But that never happens.
Old accounts r usually strong with better commanders, equipment, hoarding speedups n rss so they don't fear leadership zeroing their account.Unless target kd have strong whales that can zero old accounts . Even then why would u waana zero someone who can help u win kvk unless they r bad/selfish. So they will likely to make everything work without fight

The thing is that while you get all the end game gear and you make your oh so powerful account, you’re against everyone doing the same. So you basically sck in every season as a f2p and then sck in SoC because the p2w are ahead and have better kvk tech. What’s the point of having 20% more stats due to soc equipment if you’re against people with 50% more stats? You’re not really stronger if your enemies are even stronger than you? You’re relatively weaker.
Obviously some people may just skip alex to save some gh for soc commanders
im going back to kvk 2 with a big group of whales to take over a kd we already have a top alliance ready for us to drop into so we can build the kind of KD we want

Is barb chaining in home kingdom still worthwhile outside of events? Asking since the change to get AP potions from barb forts
Chaining barbarians is always a worthy endeavor. Since you save AP and get more stuff. The barbarian fort change is all the more reason to chain barbarians. Since you won't be getting as many AP potions from hitting tons of forts. I always chain barbarians. Boring, but totally worth it.
Migrate back is not as bad for me, i go back when i have 30M and on the next Soc i already have T5, so i can finally trade ok with whalles(using T4 most of the time)

If you are 1.2m power, you may aswell just make a new acc, I doubt any king wants a 1.2m taking a cross season immigration spot and no one like the illegals that come on without kings permission and takes a spot, doing that would mean you get zero'ed

i migrated back as i didnt have the money or time for crystal tech on top of fighting and i already had expertise commanders for garrisons/rallies in kvk 2/3 (i made dumb investments when account young) so i migrated back to give me some time to get life back together before i hit soc again so i can buy crystal tech (im 71m power, 500m kp, 7m dead), i do have 3 expertise soc commanders (guan + scipio + xy) but im aiming to get another 3 expertise (pakal + boudica + Sargon) before i get back to soc
There was this guy who had an alt account who just finished his first SOC. That account is t5 and has every pre-soc comander maxed and good equipment but he has 0 SOC comanders. He wanted to get that acc back to kvk2 1 more time and then make it migrate to his main in SOC again later when his SOC comanders are ready. Would you not have recommended to him to go back to kvk2??

If he wants to casually have fun he can go back, if he wants to make his acc better for SOC he shouldn't leave SOC. SOC is better for your acc than kvk 2 is so the longer you stay Pre-SOC the worse it will get compared to everyone else.

I came to conclusion, these are bad points for a person to not return to KvK2...
If u have bad gear, low sculptures for commanders, low vip levels.....no excessive gold amount if u are t5.....u are going to struggle alot in SOC....u will be a flag filler or a second line of defense after the whales in field fights.
Going back to kvk2 has its advantages for sure....u get extra time to work on gear, more time to save sculptures for The big leveling of Soc commanders...
Migrating back to kvk2 atleast once, is definitely helpful.....if u are F2P or a low spender....whose not in kingdom leadership.
Don't be scared of being zeroed lol ...just be honest.....there are thousands migrating back weekly.....within those 30 slots....it's a risk...but it's worth taking for the long term of your account
What if your an f2p and you have decent gear and commanders and you want to play as a rally and garrison captain ???
you can’t rally or garrison captain as f2p because your crystal tech will be too weak

From top 17 to 47, from a few T5 to double digits. We one day into migrating after kvk 1 ended and I miss Kvk 1 already. Some of these people have billions of KP and all kvk 2 commanders expertised. How is that fair? how is that balanced? Kvk 1 was fun, kvk 2 is going to suck now because half the server is overnight useless. Migrating ruins this game. Its like a different game after kvk 1 ends, its not Rise of Kingdoms anymore. Its kvk 2 and you are fodder until you spend thousands or years to catch up.

Kingdoms kvk 2/3 can only have 30 cross season migrants ( from soc ). they chose they 30 migrants very carefully. people who aren't chosen by the kingdom and still wanna migrate there are called illegal and usually get zeroed .

Lilith doesnt ban chaining, lilith just ban spawn chaining. Ysg is still good

Idk you’re stronger in SOC, I maxed out Ckills in 3 and SOC and SOC was definitely easier. The video is more about acc growth though
U cant grow fast if u cant join main alliances and their requirements is kill points ..based on my experience
@@trial0138from my experience, you could join one of the main alliance academy then just wait until one of the top alliances call for fighters, just go and apply. Because it is rare for 150 players to be online at same time so the alliances will kick offlines to make room for those who are online and want to fight. A good kingdom is the one that considers all alliances "kingdom alliances" rather than alliances that try to compete each other for top 3 for politics. By kvk3, the KP requirements is double your power, there are some kd that demands 5x your power in kp by kvk2. So I wouldn't worry too much about KP, there are a lot that inflate their KP by constantly dueling in kvk2 and barely fight during the whole kvk

In currently in prekvk 3, i think my best choice is go back to kvk 2-3 after kvk-3 is done, considering im only an f2p, and I'm not that strong to face Soc enemies 🫠
