Which moveset do you think overall is better though?
Dream eater🥴
Hex is not bad, mobile and I frames, the ability to shred bulkier pokemon pretty well but on the other side the ability to OS ennemi carry and the flip penta KO potential wins you game more
None, I hate both.
I like the dream eater and shadow ball combo
hex with full heal and incense, most of times
Whenever I see Gengar, I got flashback to the time when Gengar main cheering in joy when Buddy Barrier got nerfed 😢
I remember the days when Penguinz0 unveiled the hex bomber combo and exploited it more than The Spiffing Brit

Hex gengar was originally a menace to deal with. Now we have some counter to it
As a Gengar main that always DREADED Hex Sludge Bomb build, I started trying it more often when facing tanky or slow team comps and it actually is very strong when you know how to use your Full Heal. Thanks for this video.
Draft will definitely make Gengar better to use. Its actually great that Hex is good. I used it during the time when Zacian was a menace but I would love to use it again when Draft arrives.

Levels are more important in early game but your right, stacking is important too but 1. As a gengar you wanna get 7/9 asap to provide max usefulness 2. Wanted to deny opponents xp 3. 30 points wasn’t guaranteed especially since he’s the jungler and holds the most xp if killed
@@bam-dh6tjthis and well specs don’t go great with hex, there are better items for more survivability or just more consistent dps
And then comes the people who chooses hex shadow ball and dream eater sludge bomb

Honestly it does feel a bit unfair to play against sometimes
they really need to make haunter evolve at lv7...
I don’t know why Cris doesn’t start the game with lick to get across the wall instead of charging the boosted basic attack

To me the only correct build is dream eater shadow ball 😎
hex sludgebomb also fast to farming altaria
And for the best of both worlds, take shadow ball + hex 👍

Only reason you didn’t get absolutely cremated there was because all 4 teammates weren’t solo queue
Im the Azumarill and I was solo and I think we all were
Cris’ name was at the bottom of the list when he pulled up the menu, and he plays solo. That means this was a full solo queue game, because duos/trios are always listed at the bottom.
If there are no duos/trios, then the player with the highest MMR is listed at the bottom.
How do you know the held items of enemy
crit rate needed ?
This is one of my complaints with unite. Selecting moves should be contextual like you explain but with many mons either the items you pick commit you to a moveset or one moveset is bad.
Wouldn't 7 black and 6 green be better on gengar? U know cuz of cool down reduction?
Supposedly he's getting cooldown buffs in next patch so probably not a good set-up of that Happens. Otherwise seems solid
The dream eater shadow ball issue is it has no way out once you go in. So if you don’t kill and get reset you just suicided and won’t get second rotation to need cdr. So you go full damage to get as close as possible for 1 shots

@@skaionex that's why I said supposedly. Theoretically it could still happen even if the patch notes were fake. It would be awesome if it turned out to be true. I just picked up hex and sludge bomb so buffs would be godly.
Draining Kiss Clefable? In what universe?
Ngl I feel like hex is pretty much the better moveset in like 85% of scenarios

To me hex spam takes no skill, dream is more satisfying to play.

I once mistakenly took Hex and Shadow Ball and guess what did 75k damage rip
I've done that before trying to use an item and luckily I had a venu on my team so I could use its sludge bomb to reset my hex lol

I hate this dumb pokemon Bcz my dumb team always pick attackers and do 1vs1 vs the 1vs1 burst damage master and i cannnot defend the base and attack gengar at the same time
Why is the match making soo damn shit in this game!?... This will be my second time quitting (the final) the game ONLY because of the match making bullshit. Clearly the devs have not been doing any miniscule of work on improving the match making from past year till date 😂😂 once I reach master l, no matter how well I played I've lost 80 to 90% of the matches cs of shit players...and rarely when I got a good team, enemy goes afk and reset. The new master (permanent) bullshit has ruined the matchmaking even more!
