Exactly. I recently broke my arm, and when ever i heard the crack I knew something was wrong and compared to my other arm it was deformed. I didn't feel the pain until we drove to the hospital, but at first, I kept on screaming "I BROKE SOMETHING! WAIT NO IT'S DISLOCATED!" I was breathing so heavily and I felt so light headed... Luckily i didn't pass out but I'm stuck in a cast until further notice 👍
I would’ve started crying immediately, she’s so brave!! She just sat there and let it sink in.

Every motocrosser I know has had a broken collarbone. You are a real racer now. You guys have had a great experience and I have loved the chance to follow along. Stay strong, and keep working hard.
It’s a common injury for bikers. Lucky her break isn’t as bad as it could have been.
@@VlogEpicness they probably told her if she breaks it again they will have to plate it. Moto life. Seriously, i have been very interested in your Florida trip, because I wanted to see if there would be noticeable improvement. Luke and Lillian for sure did, and Mason has always seemed fast, but it doesn't seem like I've seen as much of him in the Florida films, although he seems to get the jumps down pretty quick when he is being filmed. Probably not as many riders in his class at the camps.
Lol it’s funny you say that because I haven’t broken any bones and I’ve been racing for 7 years. Also my brother broke his, not from a dirtbike crash, but trying to do a 1 handed off a curb on his bike. 😂😂
@@601braap2 I guess everyone I know that races just likes to Endo. I would say it is collarbones first, wrist/arm second, and, acl for sure. I have one friend that has had about 4 or 5 acl surgeries since 1986. Even uses knee braces. My age group has quit racing and leave it to the youngsters who have also broken a few collarbones but they seem to break femurs too, which my age group never did. Bigger jumps now probably and 4 strokes.
Been racing for 8 years and haven’t broke my collar bone yet broke my wrist on my left hand 3 years ago though
I think it makes it worse to watch knowing what's about to happen. I'm so glad that Lillian is already almost healed up from this. As always guys thank you for sharing your journey with us and bless you and your family.

Poor lil she knew as soon as she did it. I could tell she was not ok. I crashed in my main in bmx and I felt sick too. I wish for a speedy recovery! Prayers to you.
She was really out of it and kinda acting weird. Looking back it was obvious she was hurt but at the time I didn’t know for sure.

yea i broke my collarbone and felt the same way Lillian did. I started to feel sick but instead i pasted out and she didn't. Prayers for Lillian to heal up quickly.
Yea idk where people get the idea that if it's broken you can't move it, I've been able to move every broken bone I've had.
@@TheNinjaTigerr you can if you force it, but it doesn’t feel good, and risk the broken ends of the bone hitting or pinching an artery that’s right behind it. When I broke mine last October I also busted my hip real bad, didn’t break anything there, but could barely walk for a week. Broke a rib too right under my armpit but didn’t know until 2 or 3 days later when I went to bed for the first time since. Pain wise, it wasn’t bad enough to make me feel sick or wanna pass out.
A decade ago I closed my truck door right on the first joints of my right index and middle finger, I nearly passed out from that pain, so was kinda odd how all that went lol.
She was very close to passing out. That’s why I had her sit down. It could have been partly because of the heat too. I’m not sure.

I broke my collarbone last week, way much worse than this tbh, I passed out, it was a 10 feet fall, landed on my left shoulder and on my head. Rushed to the hospital but I was ok, Good thing it wasn’t to bad for you.

I’m a radiographer (does X-ray and CT, etc) who has broken multiple bones- including my collar bone. I can remember that feeling so well that as I was watching this and hearing her explain how it felt- I started gagging 😂. It was a horrible sensation! 😵💫 You took that like a champ Lillian. 👍🏻

I broke my ankle last year in April on spring break and it’s scary and it sucks having a broken bone in general
I broke my collar bone at 15. It took months to heal right. I actually broke it twice. It was just starting to heal and I fell down some wet stairs and re-broke it. That was BRUTAL. Get well soon.
Btw, props to not passing out! I’m 28 and as soon as I felt my collarbone move freely in the center of the bone, I blacked out.
I got into a moter mp Ike accident and my helmet flew off and I hit my head on the concreate it hurt like shit but I’m recovered now and she took that like a champ man

I broke my collar bone back in 07 in moto race, 3 surgeries later an 14 screws an 3in plate an it’s still not right, hurts constantly, get better soon kid! Best of luck in recovery!

For a kid, she took that amazingly well. Any adult or kid her age would probably be in tears. I can also see why she didn’t cry because you need to stay calm so you don’t to something to hurt the broken or fractured bone more. She stayed insanely calm for her age, it is very surprising.
That sucks for Lillian. Hope for speedy recovery. Keep the drive for still wanting to do the qualifier for Loretta Lynn's. Just don't push it, let it heal properly. I will say this for you Lillian you are the calmest and most tolerant person for pain. And dad you gave great support and your calmness to what happened was great, no freaking out like most moto parents lol. Heal up quickly Lillian and stay positive.

I fractured my shoulder horse riding ! She was very well handled! I know why it was ok in the beginning bc of the I forget the word but it was some sort of energy and the. After I really felt the pain 😢

yes you can still move your arm if your collar bone is broke. i broke mine driving a dang dirt track car and finished the weekend about 12 races and didn't know it was broke until 18 days later when i reached out to to open a gate then i knew it was broke. when they X-rayed it they said it has already started growing back. now i have a large scar where they had to go in scrape it and let it grow back i sure hope hers is back to mormal. so she can still ride. she looked good out there.
The way she walked into the hospital is how I feel in the morning sometimes. LOL

Yeah when I broke my collarbone I couldn’t move my arm a little bit but I already knew it was broken from the start just make sure to not move it too much and if you do get surgery for it then make sure to wash the scar when you get all that Band-Aids off of your arm

When my son was younger he broke a collar bone playing in a friends garden. Carried on playing for 3 hours, ate a meal with them and walked home holding his shoulder. I felt his collar bone and it was obviously broken. Hospital confirmed and sent him home with a sling. When we checked on him in the night he was asleep on his back with both hands behind his head ! Cool dude.
