Every time I hear the "turn it off now" I get reminded of when Felix was younger and would cry/get upset almost every video because he thought ending the video meant it was bedtime😅

It feels like we have 9 water bottles for my kids all over and they go and find mine. Lol
I feel like it is rule and logic of being a child:
mama’s water probably tastes nicer, and even if not, let’s have a sippy to test if it is so.
I love how the little ones faces lit up when the train started moving. So sweet. They really play well.
I feel like Birdie is way past her year(s) in age. And WOW her hair has grown so much. I love all of your family! You are just AMAZING!

I have a TON of MegaBloks, and I keep them in plastic 3-drawer containers. I have three of those, and I separate them mostly by color, but i also like to keep sets together. Red + fire engine set. Orange + Alpahbet Train. Yellow + Construction Set. Green + Recycling Truck. Blues (2 shades). Pinks and Purples. Neutrals. One drawer for unopened sets. One drawer is empty. I can pull out just one container (3 drawers) or slide out just one drawer very easily, and they have wheels, so I can move them around. I don't love buying plastic, but I do love that you can see through the drawers, and I love that theyre light enough for the kids to move around.
We have two kids and when they were little, we did use a color system for certain things. My daughter liked blue and my son liked red. Toothbrushes, socks, cups and such were color coded. They shared a room until she was 13. We used bead necklaces to put on their closet, where they could change in privacy. Color coding works well, even with only two kids.
Yes we have 4 my oldest is red, 2 is blue, 3rd yellow, 4th pink

Maybe a rolling cart with three good sized compartments would be good for the duplos. You can separate the animal, food, and building blocks from each other.
With how much all the kiddos love Lego, investing in some Lego tables might be a good idea! We got one for our 6yo and it’s great! A big surface on top to build on, and so much storage inside!
I used to work in a care home. We used one colour per resident. We used it for sheets and towels. Then if they had any clothes that would get mixed up we just sewed a piece of the right colour cotton in the label. It made life easier for everyone.
We kept our duplo toys and our legos wrapped in fitted sheets-I know it sounds weird but it keeps them all together and it is easy to move them! Just a thought!
Hi! We sort our Lego and also Doublo by color. Just in see through ikea boxes. If they aren't see through or when we use baskets, we take a photo of one brick and put it laminated on the basket, so it's easy to find the color you want, and easy clean up. Just matching the bricks to the photos. Greetings from Germany ❤

For duplo you could use one (or two) of those rugs with a draw string at the edge. Not only is clean up so much easier but the kids dont have to dig as much so its a little quieter than boxes.
For the LEGO DUPLO:
We had a table with duplo plates on them (just taped them together on the bottom of the plates and put them on the table)
They always preferred building on plates.
And used the ikea trofast with the big bins for storage.

The sock hack is brilliant
We keep our Lego in a toy storage bag with draw strings. So it lays out like a mat to play on, then when finished you pull it together with draw strings 🙌🏼

We keep duplo in IKEA Stuva. It is great because we have it in the low ones and they pull out and can see it all without needing to dump out boxes. Inside the drawers I have a few smaller clear storage tubs with some of the pieces/sets sorted for easy finding. I’d repurpose something you have.

We have used many storage systems for duplo and other toys. Right now, we've settled on stackable shelves. Great fir separating and moving about!
You probably have too much duplo but could spread it out over a few boxes but Bunnings have Lego patterned cube boxes with lids! We use them to store our duplo

I've been watching you forever. I've been wanting to ask, but if it's too personal I understand. Is your toy line your main income? I'm just wondering. You always have the children nicely dressed and well fed. Healthy meals. You are wonderful parents.
I used to put numbers on the tops of my socks, it was easier to match, they wore out at the same time and I always knew which socks were mine.
For separating clothes, we had a very easy system. My mom just took them off the drying rack, put them on the table and everybody takes their own socks and underwear to their own wardrobe. In the shop everybody chooses what pattern/colour/style they want, so they always know whose stuff is this. Same for pants and tops. Kids always know better which clothes belong to who.😆 Obviously this method is more useful with bigger kids, but I think the big kids are definitely old enough for this. It also saves work for the parents

Tubs is fine. Play on a sheet or fitted sheet and makes clean up easy by scooping up the whole lot

Look up sterilite 3 drawer cart ( plastic ) would be perfect for duplo storage
For the coffee machine, may be you have to clean the holes where the coffee comes out and to use some decalcificante.
Great video again. I used to do the colour coding sock bottoms as well. Even the Bonds ones come with different colours. With the Duplo it’s difficult to sort and keep separate. Maybe continue the basket theme like on the shelves. Have one for vehicles, one for flat bases, one for people and a big one for just the blocks. You can make a label for the outside. Or get one of the IKEA shelf with drawer systems and label each drawer. I think it’s called Trofast, or KMart have similar for half the price. It would be easy for the littlies to sort and pack away, too. Just keep the big bins for storing when it’s time.

For Duplo storage, yoou could get a storage bench. Extra seating when you need it, nice tidy out-of-sight storage when the brick are not in use.

For your duplos, they make big round colorful tubs with heavy white rope handles, that might work if you can find them in your area
Wait hold on... Where is that bear set at 9:00 from? My sister and I had the same ones when we were little. We're in our mid twenties now! Well not exactly the same, she had the girl bear and I had the boy bear and they were both in small individual boxes. I can't really see what all is in that big box that you have, but the pieces are definitely the exact same art and shapes!

I try to get pink. I don’t really care for that color tho. I live with boys, they always take my Sox. One is 20, one is 34 and my husband. My mum used to have the wooden teddy bear set when she was little. 26 degrees Celsius feels quite warm to me here in Wales in the UK. It's 20 degrees here today and I'm am quite warm.

Concerning the Duplo Storage, I believe Ikea has a big wooden box with wheels in the kids' section, and also I think some of the "SAMLA" boxes have wheels.
The "TROFAST" series has netted containers now, they could also be a good idea, because they don't collect so much dust and gunk in the bottom of the box because it falls through. 😊

What about the ikea trofast system, use the larger size tubs and I think you can purchase lids too. You could also get tubs for Connectix too then rotate with the duplo.
That’s what we do, but the amount of duplo they have they would need several of those big tubs. We have a medium tub we put a Lego ‘set’ in and then use a small tub for people and animals so they can be found easier. Several big tubs might not be much easier then the tubs they have them in now.

Wir haben eine Rotation mit Ikea Trofast Boxen. Ich habe mehr Boxen gekauft als in das Regal passen und wechsel so ganz schnell und unkompliziert einfach nur die Boxen aus. Wir haben zum Start der Ferien jetzt das Lego Duplo weggeräumt und das Playmobil rausgeholt. Wenn ich etwas weggräume, sortiere ich es direkt noch.
My mom used to write our initual on the socks, so If I see a "D" I know it's mine. I always felt like one of Andy's toys lol (Toy Story movie if You don't get the reference)
Idea: Buy a three drawer clear plastic dresser on wheels at Walmart or a store comparable to a USA Walmart. Put the blocks in the drawers. The wheels allow you to move them around. And for storage just pick up the whole thing and put it away. God bless!

My baby has his own character style socks, 6 year old boy same but also has plain black socks for school, older boy 15 has sports socks like dad but different style lol, 2 middle girls 8 and 11 same size feet pretty much share white school socks but then have own coloured/character socks older girl 13 has navy socks for school and her own plain socks for.home lol

How do you keep all your kids names and ages straight? Im still trying trying to learn to keep all of your boys names and ages correct when i watch your videos and see your pictures. I know Pearl, Sylvie, Cosmo, Birdie and Zelda. But the rest i cant keep the rest straight

There were 4 of us kids growing up. My sister and I were often called for as a combination of both our names. Not joking, 😅. We were a bit chaotic 😅
Pearl, Henry and Rufus are eight, nearly nine. Rufus is the one with the wavy/curly hair. Felix has red hair and is 10. Otto wears glasses and is 11. Evan is the oldest and tallest and is 12. Hope this helps =]

My 8 year old has big feet for his age, and my 6 year old has small feet, so they are about 4 years apart in shoe size. And then my Little Guy is 10 months old. So we have no problem differentiating the socks 😅

For packing away and storing either duplo, Lego, cars, or wooden train tracks we used Play&Go playmats.
These are circular playmats with a drawstring that turns the mat into a huge pouch. When the kids are done playing, just toss all the duplo onto the playmat, pull the drawstring and all the duplo is inside.
Works even better if kids mainly play on the playmat. Then you only need to pull the drawstring at the end of the day and you’re done.
It comes in many lovely colours and patterns, too.
