Raggaschlucht Scenic Gorge Walk Hohetauern Austria 8K

The gorge of gorges: anyone who walks on the breath-taking stairs in Raggaschlucht for the first time will be completely lost for words.
This natural wonder just has to be seen. An unforgettable experience which is ideally suited to families in spite of the wild scenery.

Starting point: Free large car parking area in Schmelzhütten, bus parking right next to the tourist office in Flattach (directly next to the main road)
Walking time: ca. 1 - 1 ½ hours
Altitude difference: ca. 250 m
Difficulty level: medium
Characteristics: Hike in the valley area, sturdy footwear definitely required - the steps in the gorge can be wet!

Mark, I wonder what the people who built this were thinking. I’m an older man and all I see is hundreds of trip hazards on the walkway, it looks like they installed the walkway upside down. Still it’s a beautiful video that I really enjoyed, as are ALL of your videos. Thank You for taking the risk with your expensive cameras in tow, but I never could have done this walk at my age. 😂 I enjoyed the waterfalls immensely, gorgeous video! Kudos! 😊❤

I'd guess because wood tends to be slippery, especially if it's wet, so the "tripping harzads" would work most likely as a buffer, so you don't slip while walking through the pathway.
