The selection of Harris as VP was one of the reasons I didn't vote for Biden the first time around. I didn't like that the Democratic establishment shoehorned her into that position just because she failed so miserably in her own run for President.
What policy is it that you disagree with?
Choosing a weak VP because of identity politics now comes home to roost. Don't get me wrong; Harris has my vote, and I think she would certainly govern better than Trump. But the US is an critical period right now, beset by troubles foreign and domestic, and a President should be selected based on vision, intellect, and character to navigate these waters, not race and gender. Harris is a truly uninspiring politician, someone who has done the bare minimum during Biden's entire term, another corporate institutionalist with no new ideas. But we'll see.

With all of the flooding in the Midwest, a lot of those voters may have washed away or are buried even deeper now.
