@@shark_de_mique Funny how War Thunder has almost the same balancing problems. Leopard 1 is extremaly OP on 7.0, M4A3E2 got nerfed into oblivion, German tanks are ultimately overpowered, though players still cry that they are weak.
Geman tanks had best guns in ww2! Still today..leopard is a beast.
@@shark_de_mique also whenever Gaijin adds a new 50-70 euro premium, it is always super OP and clubs everything it sees, and after 2 weeks, maybe few months it gets nerfed into oblivion, absolutely deeming this premium almost unusable.
And i remember people on forums crying that tank will be garbage because have only 2 shots and light tank armor, and not the best gun handling. Yet this is one of best prem tanks, and best tier 8 med in game.
Same for Char Futur. I remember the first review from Quickybaby. He pretty much said the tank would be trash because of long intra clip reload and gun handling. And yet as of 2023 it's a meta tank

Watching the minimap and how you react to what Your team is doing taught me alot.
Great example of how to make tactical decisions based on what the enemy AND your own team is doing.

Watching my own minimap taught me that my team is in 80 % of matches completely imbecil. And it is getting worse. It was better before 2015.
@@Anders357 I feel your pain. I want people to have fun "playin the game" and admit that sometimes I just do something for the MEME of it...but lately it seems that too many are enjoying themselves into a loss.
TBH and to your point - it is NOT fun (and I don't enjoy) losing 8 out of 10.

I just bought the tank today like so many others has and oh man I love the tank. I'm an average player and it feels like I can get things done in this beautiful tank. Probably because it forces me to play carefully and I have time to think what to do next while I'm waiting for the reload. It also helps that I have a crew with 80% into 5th skill for the tank.

I remember when the Bourrasque could be got for free with a mission. I did not do the mission thinking that the Bourrasque would not be worth it. Been regretting that decision ever since.
Bourrasque is by far my favorite tank to play at tier 8. I love being so mobile, having amazing camo and view range, and being able to deal a burst of 720 damage is just so fun. I really wish there was a tier 10 tank that played like it does. One of the things I've found is this tank really doesnt have to fire much gold because it's very easy to just have people's sides or rears, or just find tanks with little armor.
What a joy it is to watch Skill playing something light (regardless whether it's classified as a light tank or not) with good speed. Awesome gameplay, keep up the good work, bro;)

Well you just showed me what the Bourrasque can do, I got one from a holiday box and I have not played it very much. But I will be playing it more often now.
Love my _Bourasque_ takes a bit to get used to but once your over that hurdle, the tank is perfect.
I do like the reticle mod but my issue with it is that there are the outliers where it looks like it's a 100% chance to hit and the shell decides to just veer off into the dirt or into space. It doesn't make the reticle more accurate, but more that it shows you what's "most likely" going to happen. I can definitely see the appeal of it :)
This tank taught me how to play the game. I bought it an year ago when having like 1.5k wn8 and now I have 3 marks on it and I play for 2.8k wn8 as a minimum. If you are wondering if to buy it I can 100% recommend that. It is extremely fun to play although when i was dropping from 94.8 to 89% on marks for like 200 games I wanted to jump out of the window but... anyways It will really teach you how to play with your brain cuz of non existing armour and high mark requirements.
I don't care about the stats, I care about the fun factor tho. When someone says I'm a tomato, and I play like shit, I piss on him.
Great job on your improvement m8. How many battles do you have on it? What are your setups? Im on 89% after 100-150 battles without trying the 3rd mark. I could try hard but I prefer just to chill and maybe it will come. Greeting
@@ojciecpijo9916 Well i have over 1.3k battles. My 3rd mark session when i really tried took maybe like 400 battles from 85% to 95%. I was running pink vent stabs and aiming. I got like 3 times to 94,5-8 and then dropped so I changed the aiming for bond optics for more assist dmg. It was way easier but not that much fun cuz the gun was trash. Then my second setup was Prokhorovka only. Optics CVS exhaust.

Skill, you are absolutely correct! The Frency burlesque is one mean machine. It is like a spider, bites you then speeds off. Then returns to do the same thing! NA server.
I bought Mr Borat for myself, loved it even after only 12 games, even done some nice 4.5k combined games.
Literally would love to have this tank… if only it weren’t 40 frickin dollars

This is a magnificent tank and it is also one of a kind I would say but it OP as hell. You can say whatever you want, yes, it is not the bz level of OP but still. A platoon of 2 borats could potentially clip any tier 8 medium tank, without too much of a thinking process. And even if they fail, they could run away easily. Aiming time is long, but the dispersion on the move is absolutely insane, so the aiming time is kinda irrelevant. The only way to somehow balance it, which will never happen for sure, is to increase the dispersion on the move and increase the time between clips as well, the damage per shot should be slightly decreased too. Now, with bond vents, brothers in arms, food and vents directive the reload is 19.3 seconds and you are ready to deal 720 damage. Pure madness.
Also, it has better camo than any tier 8 lt except elc even, lol

Bought the bourrasque and my first session got a 11k combined game :) worth it imo
The " BARE-ASS" is second most fun tank in my garage, just hold your aim fully before spanking the enemy.
I got the burro during the marathon and i can say it is good, not OP but good. If you are in battle and nobody has scouts in both teams you can use the burro to spot

I'm a new wot pc player (I played for years on console) but I highly recommend getting this tank. It is an absolute beast and so fun to play. It's in the top 3 best tier 8s imo
If you don't mind me asking why did you give up on console?. I quit at the end of 2019.
@Daniel Cadwell because they really changed the game. They started to put stupid shit into it like wrestling Characters and other things. And I didn't like the change of the screen layout. It just wasn't what I wanted. When I quit, they still didn't have Bush mechanics implemented yet. I wanted it to be just like it is on pc so I switched. And I couldn't ever go back
As a heavy main, this tank needs a decent practice and know the terrain to not die faster than a light.

Up until 65% / 1st mark the gun treated me well, since then Borat refuses to cooperate and i even put full bond / bounty equip on it. Still a beautiful tank! I love it!

I don’t agree that you need to know what you are doing to perform in the Borat. Back when the tank curves in wot news still worked, you could see that playing the Borat would increase win rates of players of all skill levels who played it, 47% shitters and unicum alike. Even bad players generally know the basics of bush usage, and being able to dump 720 damage is much better than doing 240 per shot like many tech tree tier 8s. A tomato in a Borat might not be as dangerous as a unicum in a Borat, but he is more dangerous than a tomato in a Pershing.

Borat is my favorite tank in the game. I have two set ups. One gun handling set where i get about -45% to gun dispersion which makes the handling and aiming amazing. The second is a spotter set up with 520m view range and approx 50% camo (when stationary). So fun and flexible.
When i am watching this video i just get it how RNG is helping in the game.
I’m trying to mark this tank. Currently at around 80% but can’t seem to get any higher thanks to every game being 15-5 at best. If anyone has any tips, I’d appreciate them.
You should concentrate on getting early damage and spots for your team, Then be involved in the battle as much as possible without dying. Look for tanks that are out of position without support, try and capitalize on their mistakes. Making it alive to the endgame will also increase your chances of getting more damage spotting. Good luck.
yeah like stewart said early dmg is the key, also you need spotting crew skills
Load gold, Spot in the beginning without taking damage, unload one or two clips and scape from Frontline. Then support the winning flank/snipe from the back when loosing. The greediest the best.
This is how to mark a fast hard hitting tank. I did similar in hellcat, im 6k games with constant 92-94% Moe, and now I play more for the team, but when marking up to 96% i was very egoist and spamming gold. Good luck!
Keep HP as high as possible and at end of the game you are the cleanup tank. Fast and high spotting so you run around and clip all the remaining tanks on less than half health. Sometimes however the gun can troll hard

It's my nemesis. Been killed more time by Borat than anything else. Just bought one and look forward to mastering it! F**k yes
borat is an op shit, I love it! as a small littol shit, you can get everywhere with it and also you're really annoying to get shot.
I went for "accuracy": bond v stab, bond vent, l2 bounty rotation, no food, no extras, only gold and auto fire extinguiser + 6 skill crew. with this and a some aiming, you can hit most of the shots.
and remember, if there's no light tank, you're the light for spotting.
playing with this tank is like play assissins creed with extreme hard mode: stab 2 big from the shadows and run.
Show the profiles of players in your team and opponents who impressed you or made a good result. It's interesting in my humble opinion. Regards.

I was so excited to get this and I just don't get it yet. I keep trying, but so far all I get out of it is slow reload and crap accuracy. I'd rather play my Lansen. Maybe it will get better, but everyone falling all over yourselves wishing you had it I hope it's better for you than me because even playing it like a light is painful.

I love Bourrasque. It must be my fav tank in WOT but is very hard to play. I was able to get the 2nd mark and thats it. I dont think im good enough to get the 3rd mark. I tried though.
Same here, 2nd mark was relatively easy, 3rd is extremely hard.

Yesterday i bought borrat, allready played 53 games in it with average 2k dmg. And im wondering if i should buy bounty IA and Bond Vents or stab (i have only 5k bonds). Ive never bought any in my life cuz i have only 10k battles overall, and do you think its worth it? Is it realy gonna improve my gun handling? (Today i missed 2 shots from 240 meters in afk Lansen). Kudos to you
if you like a tank you should put on the best stuff you can get. It will get you more credits in the end.

@@Dave-mg1rk If you have any other tier 8 prems maybe put bond equipment on one of them. I sold the T34-3 a few years ag and then bought it again! The gun still trolls me but its better. I must be the perfect WG customer lol
What I do if having a bad time in a tank is play something else and or watch vids to try and learn. Sometimes a tank just is a no no for some of us while others will love it and play really good.
The problem with bond equipment is the demounting cost. using the compare is just numbers and you cant get a feel for how it really plays. Would be good if WG gave the option to try it out for say 10 games and be able to change for free or credits.

Incredible good tank. But you have to be careful, looking on maximap and try to flank enemies.
Only problem is his gun. Holy bananas thas is f troll for us. I hate his gun.
Tips from me. Do not be gridy for dmg and do not always try to full clip. Full clip is only in special sytuation.
I love this tank. The 3 MoE was way to fast and fun. 😂

Great dmg,great mobility,great camo but no armor..Allow me to say that for me Borat is a tank that 9 out of 10 shots you will hit on the go will penetrate the enemy tank with gold ammo.I think also Borat is beginner friendly tank has the light tank logic but can punish any enemy or you can eliminate any low hp enemy fast in enemy frontline and escape but you cant be a tourist player you are a paper meatball that even tier 1 can penetrate you
I got this tank *completely* for "free" by completing one of wg's insane challenges.
There was a point at which I had to play 16 hours in a day to catch up.
Was it worth it?

I’m an ex-console player, took a 2 yr break, now on pc. Used to play about 1800wn8 (which is about1500 on pc I think) but I’m rusty as hell so hanging round t5/6 while I learn the maps - I’m only ~350 games in.
Getting some fomo here though, how often does this thing go on sale? Is it worth getting and sitting on for a bit as I’ll be wanting a credit maker at some point or does the low std pen chew all the credits anyway? Tia.
I only use standard ammo 98% time in borask. It is fast and stealthy so I can flank. For heroe moves yeah sure some prammo required

Bourrasque is a gem of a tank... and what with WOT the way it is these days i prefer sneaky assassin tanks more and more... that play in the first game in the heavy line was most impressive imo.. i would have never gone there lol... very well played
