But, it's good that you've shown us, as we can all learn from mistakes. (In the Tamagotchi Community on Tumblr, the well known TamaPalace advised us to make sure we charge our Tamas.) Always charge your devices before an update. 😊
Cozyboo You don't have to earn the DIYs again if you still have the one tamagotchi UNI that has all the DIYs on it you can connect and give a diy and actually give all your DIYs to your other Tamagotchi uni and the diys will still stay on your previous Tamagotchi uni as well just thought this could help you.

Oh how it hurts! The same thing happened to my Pix last week! The batteries died, and when I changed them everything started all over again. I turned it off and put it aside.
I guess that explains the battery warning I've been seeing going around. I know I'd be devastated especially if it meant losing items I can't get again & have to do everything all over again if I worked hard. At least you were able to find a bring side.
You can connect to your other tamagotchi and as long as you visit the one with all the crafts, he can gift your newly reset one whichever DIY recipe you have on the other device! You can do that as many times as you’d like just one recipe at a time 💖

That's awful! On the plus side, you've blogged most of your progress so it's technically not lost into the abyss. I will be very careful when updating now, tho for sure
I updated this morning and thankfully everything went ok, I would have been totally devastated if mine had wiped. I’m so sorry you lost everything on one of yours, that’s awful 😢. Enjoy Oceania, I’m in the UK and mine is set to Oceania too 🙂 I love the mermaid theme.

Sorry that happened :( this reminded me that I need to make sure my uni’s batteries are full/almost full before updating Also the updates take absurdly long… probably enough time to drain the battery a lot ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ
Have you tried accessing your backup after you downloaded all the updates? The codes are saved even after a full reset, a backup may still be stored even though you need the update to access it. I don't know if that will work or if you've tried but it's worth a shot if you haven't.

I wonder how the Sanrio, Angel, Devil/monster Uni will ship with the update implemented or not, or if it will even be a thing, same with the tickets hmmmm. I'm so excited about all of it lol.
Unfortunately it will force you an egg before you can update. But it doesn't make a difference at all so don't worry I'm so glad you got one just in time for all the fun to begin 😀 I'm excited too 😄 ♥️
