Hi, I really like watching you work on the Tamagotchi vids so I would like to ask for some of your experience if you don't mind. I have an acquaintance who wants to sell me a ''20th anniversary Tamagotchi Mix'' that is 100% new and unopened for a pretty good price, but I'm wondering whether to choose between ''Uni'' or ''Mix'' (Uni is a recent model so it will be easy for me to find and buy but machines like ''On'', ''Meets'', ''Mix'' are usually expensive and very hard to find and are usually used machines for resale). Personally, I really like the ''Mix'' version, I also really like ''Uni'' because of its new features and ''Wifi'' mode, but it's a pity that ''Uni'' can't breed the Tama's Gen anymore but instead only adds special personalities to each Tama. And I like the ''Mix'' version partly because of its appearance and mostly because of the ability to breed Genes to produce many forms of Tama, but since ''Mix'' seems to be very old and has less functions, I am also very hesitant about this. So in your experience, should I choose ''Uni'' or ''Mix'', it is now 2024 but do you think ''Mix'' is really worth buying anymore.

Yeah I stopped playing after two days. I got first place in the practice mode, but 3rd in the actual event.

Seeing these, and having an On and a Pix, and now a Uni, it makes me sad for how much gameplay they're losing over time. Even so, the ease of just being able to plug the Uni in to charge, I don't think I can go back to batteries even if these devices are inherently more fun. x.x;

The Pocket Designer is really cool, thanks for showing it 😀 I hope you can get it to connect. Did you try pressing the ‘B’ button when the ‘connect’ screen came up like you have to do on the ON/Meets?

I think once that screen showing the connection appears, u will need to press the middle button for it to connect. That’s my guess bec I encountered the same issue when trying to connect my tama.

So cute you make me want to own a P's, i curently enjoy my old 4u+ but it recently got a faulty A button and became very laggy out of nowhere for some reason, i dont know why its happening, i need to find a way to fix it...

It's surprising the pocket designer has even more functions than just designing which is a very nice feature already. The lamp you made is so cute. :) Just a bummer the connection didn't work.

I found the arena event really difficult. Very glad it’s over now. Can’t wait to see the marriages. You also mentioned you use polywatch. Would you mind doing a short video or something just to show how you use it or explain how to use it please. Every time I use it, there’s a residue on the tamagotchi that if I wipe off means I can see the scratch again. I don’t know if I’m using too much or not leaving it long enough or rubbing it hard enough, I just don’t know. Thanks. The reason many players get crazy scores is because they cheat! The way the fence event works is that every day the program produces a certain set of letters that are the same worldwide for all players. The letters only change on the following day. This is only for the actual match, not the practice! Once they are in the actual daily match they write down all the letters on a notepad. For ease of use they write them in pairs of 4. Just before the duel event screen ends they use the RESET button on the back of the device. Because the device has no chance to pass the "Connection" screen it won't send your attempt to BANDAI servers. Once you reset and get back to Tama Arena you will find out that you can repeat your daily attempt. I believe this can be done for every event not just the fence one. Now you use the written letters on the notepad and start "dialing in" all of them without caring what's happening on the Tama screen. this arena event is so hard!! I've never gotten better than second place and usually always 3rd. I try to do it faster but then I just mess up more lol but at least most of us are in the same boat 😅 and to add! the items we get for going through all this stress aren't even that good 😭 last event items were actually worth it in my opinion🥴

I find this game super hard too! I get 3rd every single time. I actually stopped playing, I'm embarrassed at how bad I am at it lol. I miss at least 3-4 times every time I play. I was looking around and it looks like someone found a pattern and now people get super high scores. I can't compete with that! I'm glad I'm not the only one. Thanks for sharing!

You are not alone, it is a very difficult event, I got first place during the actual event only once... I find that it helps a tiny bit to have my thumbs quite a few centimeters above the buttons, so I have a split-second to stop myself if I go for the wrong button haha.

I always finish third and I haven't been able to score over 12000 outside of practice.

Oh cool the eco scoop is fun when you have a pet. I love the marriage sequence on this one, makes it feel like the tama & their partner get to know each other compared to other marriage cutscenes. Fun fact the guy your tamagotchi married is the daycare teacher’s son, found out cause there’s a picture of them together in an official picture of characters with their moms for mothers’ day.

Given how expensive the DLC charms are it makes me glad I bought one of the phones inferred connection that has digital patches on it. As fun as it is to collect stuff given how expensive things are(especially due to not being sold anymore) it’s nice to have options. That & I got a game imported from another tama or something that’s tug-of-war(you spam the a button as quick as you can), I’m good at catch but the tug-oof-war is quicker/easier. Thanks for explaining the jump rope game, I tried it in the past & for some reason could never figure out what I was suppose to be doing. I often clean all the rooms just in case if the main room is dirty cause I’ll never know if another room needs cleaned until they’re used so they could end up dirty for who knows how long until I notice. The Ps is an interesting tamagotchi to play with. I find it funny that the tama you talked to said the ship needs a limo since she rides everywhere in a limo. I’ve seen pics of the Ps pocket but never saw it used, that’ll be interesting.

I was looking at getting a P's or an iD L, the puzzle pieces look like a fun thing to work towards ❤
