- I have 13 years of experience with Minecraft Bedrock, is it really as good as we think it is? Or does Minecraft Bedrock suck?

What are some of your best memories with Minecraft Bedrock?
ALSO! for the sake of this video, I use Legacy Edition to show where pre-Bedrock versions were at
be
When all the CZcamsrs used to play bedrock like stampy, dantdm, sb737, etc
my family member who first showed me the game
I remember being 8 hrs old sitting on a bean bag in my living room, I had just got Minecraft on my Fire Kindle Tablet and I chose my name by smooshing my name and a comic I read together and adding the word cool at the end, I loaded up my first world and spawned on a sand island waited there until night tried to swim away (by not swimming just walking in the water) and a creeper blew me up. The first update I had was the Nether Update and after changing device to amps4 when I was 11 I truly fell in love with Minecraft Bedrock.
@@GeanoCool how do you remember being 8 hrs old?
battle mode was my first love
you were my first love
you were my first love
🧡
I was my first love
Thought it was turbo😭😭😭 I feel betrayed😢
I grew up playing Console Edition on my PS3 and Pocket Edition on my phone. Only later was I actually able to play Java Edition. I didn't grow up with Minecraft the same way other people did. Even during 2018, I stuck to Minecraft Bedrock Edition, mostly because I still enjoyed it. I didn't find anything interesting in Fortnite because it was so different from what I used to play, but also because I couldn't play it. I'm so glad I didn't have a PS4 or a powerful enough PC at the time. During that time, I would play a lot of Hive and CubeCraft. I also played a lot of pay-to-win faction servers, and that's what got me into Discord. I'm so glad 2019 came around because it made Minecraft popular again, and I was really happy about it.
To this day, I unironically enjoy playing Minecraft for what it is. I love both editions of Minecraft, to be completely honest, and seeing people fight over which version is better makes me sick of it because they're both good and bad in their own ways. I hate when people say, "This is the superior version of Minecraft." Minecraft was always good, and when Mojang makes a bad update, I don't care about it. This game helped me make the most valuable friendships, and I just can't thank this game enough for that.
I remember destroying my entire survival base because I activated a goofy nether reactor in the middle of it 💀
i thought it was a dimension 🙁
i was 8 🙁
this video deserves a lot, excellent stuff. it was fun to work with you on this.
Same, i was so mad 😭

Just you
The laughter of having fun when you were playing battlemode really brought me back
i grew up with Pocket Edition and man, comparing to Bedrock state on mobile right now, it got worse with time overall
Ive played Minecraft since before the horse update, I miss all the nostalgic feel to the game but I think if we never updated the game then it would have easily died. We need the updates to keep the crowd in a way
Minecraft Console Edition and Minecraft pocket Edition are not related at all to Minecraft Bedrock Edition, notice how all the nostalgia stops in 2017. (the same year bedrock edition was made)
Bedrock Edition is not Console edition or pocket edition updated, its a different version of the game entirely.
it was garbage from the start to the end,
it does not get credit for console and pocket edition stuff.
everything good you said about bedrock edition was not even part of bedrock edition.
we are eating good here fellas
Glad ya had fun with all these years we loved the journey keep it up❤
Yo this brought back so many memories for me. Even though i started playing during the "Dark Ages of Bedrock" being 2016 i still find nostalgia with this. Especially woth the legacy edition stuff. I wasnt able to play online because my playstation plus ran out well before i got minecraft. Either way this sent me back. I owe legacy and bedrock so much for making it possible to play my favorite game of all time. Hell it was my favorite game back in like 2014 when i was playing knock offs and pirated versions. I remember playong a game called explore which is litteraly just minecraft pe with my uncle and aunt who are suprisingly only 4 and 3 years older than me. I remember playing with them at my house at their house over the summer it was great. To be honest i was scared when i realize that minecraft had an update. I thought i wouldnt be able to go back to the version ever again. While that is true now because i gave away my playstation i do plan to get xbox one edition and start playong legacy again. As for bedrock that is where i started doing things like redstone whoch while im not the best at it was fun while it lasted. I genuinely wish i was born a few years earlier so i cna play legacy and bedrock at their peak.
dang man i feel the same about 2019, alot of things changed, ugly steve, new textures, horrible animations, and felt alot more buggy
I started played Minecraft on 2017 (9 years old) now Im 16 years old, Time when so fast
big W video, good job on editing, it was worth the wait
I have one core memory and one accidental screenshot but honestly i was so young i don't remember most of it
Honestly by watching this video I got a lot of nostalgia, and I’m 15 I’m growing at the games age, which is kinda crazy, and I’ve been playing on pocket edition forever, I’ve been playing it since 2014 when I was 5, I began to be extremely obsessed, and now I’ve been playing the game for 2/3rds of my life, and I gotta say, I had fun, and it would be the same game I’d pick to play all over again.
Have somebody knew we always place a crafting table next to a furnace back in the day
The old water looks BEAUTIFUL, I love it. (Before the Update Aquatic)
i love the recurring theme of does sponge work throughout the vid
even though I started playing in 2020 I remember I had this one world that had a netherite house but the nostalgia of the old terrain just hits so hard.
13 Years
13 = Taylor Swift
SuperGamer is a swiftie
And you know this number…making you a swiftie as well 🙃
taylor swift is overrated
Taylor swift is onto 13 years old bruh? Then why ain’t she tiny and ain’t she fw that one footballer player. That’s crazy
i remember the first time i played minecraft, me and my brother always plays on a flat world and we always build castles made of diamonds and we have to fight each other and sometimes we put zombies on the ground for the zombie apocalypse mode, sadly my brother left for college now.. 😢
I remember when Update Aquatic came out. I went to a friends house and they had Windows 10 Edition on their pc. He let me play on it before we got bored of taking turns and he took out his phone and joined through that. We played for a bit before I was killed by something holding a trident. We flew back to where I died (we were using cheats ofc) and we saw a Drowned. We didn't know what it was at the time and kept thinking it was a "Diamond Zombie" because of the glowing blue parts on it. We thought it was a rare mob and he tried to find it in the creative menu. He couldn't find it so he thought it was a super rare/one time occurance cause we didn't know anything abt Minecraft most of the time during it. No videos, no trailers; we would just hop right into the game. It took us around 4 hours of searching to figure out what it was and we both got upset cause we thought it was a rare occurance and not part of the main game 😭😭😭
"Unfortunately without my childhood friend because i dont know him anymore" damn.
It’s been two weeks and he’s already out with another banger 🔥
17:10 this version of minecraft was my start, i remember my first ever base that i ever made, it was granite and andesite hahahaha, it was so nostalgic watching this video
Great speech at the end there
This video literally made me cry.
My sisters and I got Minecraft in 2018 on our Amazon Fire tablets.
We had so much fun building houses and mansions and messing with Addons.
I love this game. With all my life.
2018 wasn't THAT long ago
I remember playing survival mcbe minecraft with my brother. We were so bad that we gave up finding the stronghold, went in creative 70% of the time, and had keep inventory and etc.😢
me when i played Pocket Edition on my IPod 5th gen, had the coolest world ever (this was pre-superflat and having water buckets / animals in creative) and spamming sheep spawn eggs when it came out, which in turn crashed my world and made it unplayable :( that was my Pocket Edition peak, and this video brought back a lot of the nostalgia from playing with my friends and having the best time ever when we were 11
Slight nitpick, Legacy Console is not the same as Bedrock
The nostalgia came when I saw the TU14 world. I had such a good memories with this world
I've never lost battle mode.. unless it was the elytra racing... 😅
All of you videos are bangers
Started playing on 0.14. Still play bedrock on phone, but because of friends I had to get java. I remembered about furnace minecart. Core memory activated. It was like: when we'll have command blocks/armor stands/cool mods/3d block texture packs? Now we have it all, but at what cost... The fact furnace minecarts wouldn't be added on bedrock and fixed at all devastating me. It would definitely help me in early game, when gold is pretty much needed for more valuable things, rather than some rails. Still won't update from my 1.17.41, they changed too much(limited size of 3d models for blocks/shaders/storage)
I used to play this game in 2014 and keep playing till today
I remember me buying the game because it had multiplayer which was popular back in 2013 when I got the game and still to this day, I still play it 😎
I first started playing java on my friends pc, Soon i got Minecraft on my moms phone and i fell in love with it, i soon got it on console, then bought bedrock on my pc, Ive been playing it ever sense.
I probably wont play old minecraft ever again since its lacking alot of items and features that are in the newer versions but i wish those old textures came back i loved rhe old totem and armor textures
Man this brings me back...
Also how do you play older versions of bedrock?
You can sadly not play it official version. You have to download the cracked mcpe from Google or other browser 😢
@@habungtaree8443 Oh. So basically it requires piracy. Thats actually really sad.
Ive been on switch for 2 yeara and it was good i loved it the caves and cliffs update with the warden i had so much fun
Nice video
I played pocket edition since 1.16
I recently replayed the first version I played (0.10.4) after 9 years. Tbh, I don’t know how I found it fun. I know I just a little kid but, there basically nothing to do 😅
I remember playing Pocket edition in (I think) 2016 on my dad's iPad, I sucked at survival, I built a house beside a village, and got mad when the villagers would come into my house so I dug a trench around my house to stop them from getting in and then they literally all fell in there and died. My house was built out of spruce wood I took from the villagers houses and dirt. I don't remember doing anything particularly progressive in that world, I think I had like 3 iron from the blacksmith. I also remember thinking gold armour and tools was the best in the game 😓
2 super uploads in a month? Is it 2021?!
I grew up with 360 edition, never got to enjoy the whole thing though, just the demo. Even then the demo was so gosh darn fun
0.17 was the first time i played Minecraft
14:55 NO FRICKN WAY I REMEMBER THIS EXACTLY I ALWAYS DID THIS ON THIS MAP
Thx For memorizing my old day ❤
I used to watch battle mode videos all the time when I was younger
Anyone remember when they had island village template or when they had a default seed
I remember playing on my psvita dominating the battle mini game with large inventory and getting diamond equipment a nd all the hidden chest
Alternate title: super gamer glazing his childhood for 27 mins
another banger video by the goat himself 🔥
i played java and Bedrock both for a long time, bedrock 13 years, and java 14 years. unfortunately, i got hacked on my accounts a lot back days.
I remember when I played it on my xbox360 and had friends.we are getting old -Farbod
They bought back legacy editions word saying "survive" when you gets to the world in bedrock latest versions
This is nostalgic.
I just built giants planes in creative mode and watch Dantdm trying out the video mode not realizing that there were 2 different Minecraft versions and mine wouldn’t have the mods, let alone me knowing they weren’t just part of the game
Hey dad super just posted 🧡
I had tears watching this
HOW IS BRO CONSISTENT THO?? (W LOVE UR CONTENT)
Did anyone see the chat text around 15:20 "EvidentP is now doing the griddy!"
you should have played the 1.13 legacy tutorial map, (in my opinion) it's the best tutorial map
Thank god hes back with another banger
Ain’t no way bro ended it off with the most nostalgic song ever
imo the controller movement makes me feel really nostalgic
I started out on Minecraft PE 1.17 in 2022 mostly because i couldn't afford Minecraft Java & Bedrock on my PC. But when i could tho i started playing Minecraft Java for while but then i started to not really like Minecraft Java because of how different it was from Minecraft PE so i switched to Minecraft Bedrock on my PC and i still play it to this day. I like to mostly play creative mode and creative mode is just sooo much better on Bedrock Mainely because 1: if you get in a sticky situation with a command block you can just simply disable command blocks. Where as on Java you have to delete your world cause there is nothing you can do. 2: you can place and brake block's really fast. Here's a tip on how to do so to place blocks really fast you have to start flying up from where you're placeing the block's holding down on right click. And to brake blocks really fast just start falling over where you are brakeing blocks holding down on left click. 3: it runs better and you can even have a much higher render distance. And 4: when you are flying in creative mode there isn't no cunetic energy I fond that to be sooo aggravating!
How do you play old pocket edition minecraft?
I loved when everything was just much simpler
Felt like yesterday
1:46 bro you have to press both buttons to go forward, and press left and right individually for turns 💀
"Tell me you didn't play mcpe without telling me you didn't play mcpe" ahh moment
Great vid btw
you mean legacy console, not bedrock
You just earned a subscriber
Nostalgia 😢
super fixing the upload schedule? 🔥
idk why people thought bedrock was bad in the village and pillage update, it was really awesome, and I don't really miss the old villages much. but each to their own ig
I liked the old minecraft and I wish I could play it again the pvp was so good and I like it all
I used to love the nether 4 seed on pocket edition
Minecraft console edition and Minecraft bedrock are two different Minecraft versions
Bedrock was a mobile game ported to consoles
Legacy editions and bedrock are two completely different things.
Ps3 edition was my first experience
For me I started Playing Minecraft PE around 2014 or 2015 on my damn Amazon Kindle Fire and that's all I had until Christmas of 2020 when I got the gaming console I had been wanting for 3 years the Nintendo Switch and I still didn't get Minecraft for a while because at that time I felt like I had grown out of playing it, still watched tons of videos on it though. Then I got it for the Nintendo Switch and it was the first time I had friends to play worlds with and servers to play on I know that the Nintendo Switch edition is the worse version for a console but I still played it a lot. Now it's 2024 Minecraft is 15 years old and I have a crappy laptop that (with the right settings) runes Minecraft Surprisingly well, and after years and years and years of wanting to I got to play Java Edition. Yes I will always have those memories with MCPE and Bedrock edition but in my personal opinion Java is better. But also this video sure was a trip down memory lane especially from the 2014-2016 section. Oh and for the 2019 section I really liked that time and I was still on PE but that was probably because I didn't realize the implications of the Marketplace.
You don't miss the old memories, you miss being happy...
2 gamerxds uploads in under a year
My experience with bedrock is getting a worse version of the previous console edition with less features. I never played online so there where no real positives for me. I remember trying to get into the game again and just finding what I wanted to do couldn't be done on the version. I couldn't stop the snow in my spruce forest from melting on my long term world. I basically got global warminged in game. I couldn't go back because my xbox360 couldn't fetch cloud saves anymore and that's where all my Minecraft data was. Then my long term world that I had hundreds of hours in got corrupted and a bunch of chunks got reset. The new generation clashes with the old and now I feel Minecraft honeless
can you still play the old modsss n what not on pe pocket edition?????
I cry everytime when I see the TUI14
I remember MCPE worlds was not infinite, having infinite worlds was such a crazy thing for me
I thought there be wouldn’t be another video for 9 months
BRO WE GONNA IGNORE THE SUPER FLIPPING RARE SWAMP VILLAGER!?!!
they really should've kept the Legacy Console crafting menu for controller, it works so much better
Legacy edition was the first for me 🔥
I just remember my first skin when I saw this video(It was spiderman)
No way it was all peaceful and stuff untill i recognized this seed in 23:54 i used to build house near the lava pit and next to the swamp i always make a herobrine ritual lol
17:58 no way he said it like that
I first played bedrock before Java it always had my favorite
While watching this video I tried to find the old ps3 edition, but I couldn’t find it.
Here's my story that ends with my overall opinion.
2018-- I first got Minecraft Java edition along with Bedrock. I thoroughly enjoyed playing both especially bedrock for some reason. That was because I was also playing on my iPad (which is also bedrock). I somehow had a close connection with bedrock more than Java. I mean don't get me wrong, Java is great I love it, but at that time, the fact that I could play with friend's is all I cared about. I would invite my friends over we would alternate between PC and Mobile, we would play survival games, creative and more. Some of my friends would even bring their PS2/3 over to play. I would spend the next year just doing this.
2019--The village and Pillage update(
🤮or was it really?)---- I immediately started to see some changes--- Different menus, ugly steve @whfww, ugly view bobbing and more. But I never hated it like how other java players hated it in 2019. Infact, some parts of it I kinda liked. Some of the wacky bugs were cool. In fact, I surprisingly played that more than java. For the next 3 years I was playing. I came across these YT's such as IgnacioBlade, Evdient, PotatoPie, DannyIsDahBomb as well as you who taught me a lot not just about the game's mechanics and all but also about proving that Bedrock doesnt suck.
2024: From late 2023 to May 24 I was just playing Java 1.8.9 on my 2020 macbook. I was having fun, but I was missing the fun of playing bedrock and since we got rid of the old ipad and the windows PC, I couldn't play it. That was untill I got a phone. The first thing I did was get a keyboard and mouse to connect and BOOOM. Free, portable PC minecraft. It would run a lot better that my older devices at 120fps. I got my itch to play bedrock on the hive and Ive been playing ever since.
Overall bedrock definetely has some annoying problems that would make this message to long if I tell you. But it also has great stuff. And I will always have a soft spot for it in my heart.
I remember pocket edition. I remember playing with my cousin's all the time and it was so great that you could just join off of LAN Network. When we played I remember the old crafting menu like it was just a list you would scroll through and I also remember a really weird 99+ glitch. Also the Pocket Edition being really buggy in this state Bedrock is right now it's literally the same game and they didn't bother to fix it. LOL. I would say though that Legacy Minecraft is definitely better than bedrock . I do know that Bedrock is technically Legacy. But in my eyes I see Legacy is a completely different game and a gem to behold. It filled so many of our childhoods with great memories. :')
