@Tea Witch if only he did it in a way that didn't require a forced system of being only strong and nothing else, Tigerstar would be praised by the readers...I think
But for real. It's so aweful that they put "we should change things" on the vilain cats. I hate how much defferance to tradition is in the books. Systemic change is important.
At first I was UNSURE!! and AGAINST!! the idea of all the clans morphing into one MEGA clan but honestly, I love your interpretation of it!! I'd definitely accept this version of clan smushing 100%
"Despite being of a human level intelligence, the cats somehow don't have the level of thought required to separate religion from morality." That's probably the most realistic thing I've ever heard about Warrior Cats. Humans can't seem to get it right either.
I swear the Warriors meeting new people are like “have heard about our lord and saviors Starclan?” And if you just close the door on them like anybody else would you’re a sinner/heathen. 🤷🏻♀️
I would’ve guessed Firestar’s impact as a leader when he started out as a kittypet would permanently rid the bias the clan cats have over outsiders. Sadly, Bramblestar seemed to have hit the reset button on foreign cat acceptance outside a brief relationship with one in his Super Edition.
ShadedDreamer yea and he struggled with doing what firestar would have done and what he wanted to do. And he was fair. And everyone else is all like you are not like firestar. And he like yea I’m not. He even gave sanctuary for the kitty pets during the flood. Even gave darktail a chance by not interfering with shadowclan. Til darktail plan was revealed and gave sanctuary to shadowclan. Remember that was a huge lesson he had to learn? That he can’t help like he did as a warrior. Bramblestar is a good leader. So good that those who is close knew something wasn’t right in the broken code. So yea he thought over about new cats. And darktail problems just ended when the sisters came around. Wouldn’t you be a bit suspicious too?
It’s stupid that StarClan wants them to be separate when Squirrelflight’s Hope showed us that StarClan is peaceful because they don’t separate themselves
@@lumeanoastra1252 kind of depends. The way I see it when it comes to different countries, we aren’t entirely separated, because we can visit them whenever we want (provided we have a passport showing where we came from). It’s not like America’s like “you’re not allowed to go to Canada, because your heart lies in America!” or something like that.
They're afraid that nothing will be interesting anymore if the clans are people lol. I super like this idea though. The severe overuse of the "half-clan cats dealing with their parents mistakes" or "forbidden romance between 2 cats from different clans has unforseen repercussions" is just annoying at this point. There's at least one half-clan relationship in like, every arc (i personally don't know fully, I've only /read/ up through power of three lmao) and it's just so old at this point. I agree with Moon that it's definitely way past time for a rewrite of the system to allow for more interesting plotlines.
@@Cicadidaetm9899 im not gonna spoil any future books but. basically yeah every arc has at least one major half clan relationship or at least has cats angst over having a crush on someone who lives more than 20 meters away
@@Cicadidaetm9899 If you've only read power of the three and the previous arcs, you've only seen 4 forbidden relationships, 5 if you count the Bluestar/Oakheart drama in the past. Imagine how most of the fanbase feels.
honestly the warrior clans are basically just devolved ethnostates 1. Extreme Inbreeding 2. Irrational disdain towards other, near identical groups 3. Extreme xenophobia and cultural imperialism
Extreme inbreeding... hell yes. The fact that cousins and in one case BROTHER AND SISTER have kits is very strange, we will never forget this Erin, never
Tigerstar: we should combine the clans Me: no that's evil Moonkitti: we should combine the clans Me: that I perfectly logical and I agree edit: ok I get it, it's the differences between presentation. you can stop commenting this to me now
I want them to celebrate things. Like, literally all human cultures ever have celebrations and since warriors are humanized they should have celebrations. I know this is weird and doesn't really effect the story but they don't have fun and their lives just seem bleak.
They should have a celebration Everytime they choose a new leader and said chosen cat gets their new lives,,,,, like a dance,,,,,,or perhaps a ball. It should have a name, maybe one that's total nonsense like 'the Jellicle ball' or something
@@gamzee3610 I think it could be something not so human. Like what do cats like? Maybe it could be a day where everyone takes turns on the sun rocks for TC, or maybe in RC the new leader is dunked in the river to wash, or in WC they scratch themselves in the grass or something idk
I can already imagine how this would create more interesting plots. Imagine a murder mystery arc, where a messenger is found dead on the border between two clans. The series would be about trying to figure out who killed them, and why? Why would you want to cut off clan communication? Much more interesting than “omg they’re hunting on my lawn again!!1!1!”
So much missed potential on warriorcats. I only read to 4th arc but I start off again and realized this now 10 years later. Just like other franchises like Saw, Game of Thrones or The Hunger Games, there is so much missed potential
Someone gotta make a story about this because i'd love to read it from a messangers perspective. Like they might witness a fight or something hella interesting. This makes me really sad current warrior cats isn't like this.
I remember even making like a mini story where a leader and medicine cat were driven out of the clans for loving eachother, and in turn they started convincing cats to live with them from all different clans. And somehow it ended up being more interesting then the actual books!
The thing that always annoyed me in the books was how the clans would go into other clans territory when they were starving or lacking certain resources as a "last resort" as if the territories were the only places they could go and traveling into unclaimed land just past the border was more dangerous than potentially starting a war.
YES!! I never understood why they didn't just go outside the Clans' borders. I get that the Twolegplace is supposed to be right outside of Shadowclan, but all of the other clans are surrounded by rolling hills! Hell, all of the Clans could just send their hunters to the area north of Thunderclan where the Sisters hunted. Not all of that area was claimed by SkyClan, and they explicitly described it as excellent hunting grounds that nobody had bothered to even look at before.
One of the things I like about Wings Of Fire is that the tribes are actually different, Icewings have the ranking and the trial, the old RainWing tribe had the queen system and the anonymous eggs, etc, and just overall the culture and feeling seems different from one another
+Hazel Priestley-King - Exactly! That's something Wings Of Fire does exceptionally well, where every single tribe is its own unique entity with different environments, personalities, buildings, social behaviours, traditions and so on. That's the problem with Warrior Cats. The books are so insistent that the Clans are too different to join together and that's fine but... they are *not* different. They're all virtually identical and the only real reason they wouldn't join up is simply out of just... not wanting to. I am totally fine with the idea of the Clans staying separated, but these books need to justify *why* they work better as separate communities. Because as it stands, they should really just function more like towns or factions that are more loose on where their residents choose to live, instead of these individual communities.
WOF is honestly just great writing almost all around imo and makes creating characters to fit in the universe so much more interesting because of all the uniqueness and cultural aspects to the different tribes.
If Messengers needed to be on call all the time, there's no reason why they couldn't take on small jobs in camp as well. Helping the medicine cats sort herbs, repairing and creating dens, and entertaining kits are all things they could do while still being available in camp to run to the next Clan at a moment's notice.
@@purple6242 i like that. But I also think every cat should have basic self defense and medical training. I dont want that issue that the tribe has. Oh noooo I'm a hunter idk how to fightt?? Idk I think the messengers should be given tasks like warriors, only they stay in camp, doing in camp activities. in case of an emergency. I also think some training for them to do with speed or routes would be helpful.
@@meganmena377 Yeah, that sounds pretty cool, the fastest routes and best running techniques could be a messengers training. I also think everyone should have basic fighting/ hunting skill, and medical training in case of emergencys.
@@purple6242 In some of the fanfics I've been brainstorming, I sometimes create a subsection of the Warriors called the Camp Guards - cats who are okay with not going out into the forest too often, but take care of in-camp duties like guarding the camp (duh), being a den dad/entertaining the kits, helping medicine cats with herbs and havinf some knowledge of herbs themselves in case the medicine cats are out when something happens (and possibly going out with the medicine cat to guard them if they need to collect herbs when the territory outside the camp isn't safe of the med cats) and stuff like that. It would guarantee that there are able, battle-trained warriors in the camp in case something tries to attack, and all the small duties they do around camp would free up the full-time warriors to hunt, patrol and train apprentices without worrying about camp duties.
--Also I kind of love that you basically described how Morit Gera works in Dark Lightning with your proposed fix; the conflict between two of the subgroups is wholly subjective because of an outside conflict disproportionately affecting one group and creating tension between the two leaders who just don't get along on principle. Normally all the subgroups work together and have tribe members who go from village to village and never settle down anywhere.--
honestly warriors has always had some very unfortunate implications, the main one i always noticed was how female characters were often treated but yeah theres a LOT of iffy cultural things
@@iwakeupandboomimarat exactly The fact the mothers become queens and stay in the clan with their kittens until they become apprentices while the fathers are working is okay in my opinion, it can work in many ways but I'd also love to see more characters being against it The female characters are often used as an "add on" or a "accessory" rather than full characters, for example Silverstream was basically just Graystripe's gf that died during labor, nothing else was shown in the main series Squirrelflight is an awesome character that reminds me more of the male protagonists in the series but she is the only one who gets punished for certain activities (even though she is morally correct) The way she-cats are treated when they are in a relationship with a cat from other clan is something different, stories from Yellowfang and Leafpool show how terribly they are treated even by their ancestors while their male partners face no real consequences It's honestly depressing, I wish it was a little different or at least acknowledged
@@billcipher8645 honestly with fernsong and ivypool i was really hoping for fern to stay in the nursery bc im an advocate for deputy!ivypool/ivystar lmao
But weirdly they don’t know that’s where they came from. I don’t know why it’s never been brought up but that would be a cool storyline where they learn about their origins because they basically did a full circle starting at the lake and then ending back up there and Jayfeather is the only one that knows.
after 30 books you can just predict, "Oh, they're going to win and be ok. This guy's almost going to die but of course he's not because he's a main character and has netherite plot armor."
Some medicine cat: So, I have an apprentice and I love this cat. Can I have kits with them? Don’t worried about the clan, my apprentice is trained enough. Starclan: Haha! Starclan: *no.*
Seriously, I don't get why medicine cats are sworn to celibacy and basically get kicked out of the job when they take a mate, even when they have a young and healthy apprentice medicine cat who is perfectly capable of taking care of the Clan. I mean, yeah Moth Flight couldn't, but she had ADHD, for StarClan's sake. One medicine cat who has ADHD can't do multitasking(I should add that she was, like, less than a year old. Basically in her late teens) appears, and boom, no one is allowed to have kits anymore. I'll stop this now
In my fanfic I made it so medicine cats could only have kits if they had an apprentice who was trained enough. Toms and she-cats, both would have to have an apprentice for fairness sake, but imo it’d work out fine in canon as well, though I feel Moth Flight would be grumbling in the corner about it
Mothflight: **Has kits** **Struggles to take care of her Clan along with her own kits** "Eh, this is too hard, even though there's a thing called apprentices, and other cats taking care of my kits. I'll make a law that you can't do this, even though other cats probably could." Leafpool: **Has her sister take care of her kits, and is totally fine.** Mothflight: "Wait. That's illegal."
Well she had kits and didn't want them. She put that rule down for medicine cats and make them struggle. when she sees it's ruining their lives she doesn't change it for the best. And Gives her kits away to other freaking clans! There are so many reasons I hate her! She tries to keep leafpool out of starclan!
Devin Wallace 1: she did want her kits, she really didn’t want to give them away but she did it for the betterment of the clans. 2: i can agree on this! she’s crazy...really 3: back to 1, she did it for peace 4: ya..good point. leaf pool didn’t deserve to have to worry about that
When reading TallStar’s Revenge I loved the fact that certain cats were tunnelers and that there was actual danger and purpose behind it but also conflict as the WindClan moor runners thought the tunneling job was unnecessary and just dangerous. When HeatherStar band tunneling after the death of one too many warriors because they were collapsing, I thought it was uncalled for. It took away a very Interesting part of the clan and could have given WindClan something else to be remembered by then just fast. It could also give an interesting perspective when all the clans moved to the lake. The tunnelers would have to start from scratch and I’d like to see how they go about it, comparing the difference in soil and how harder or easier it made it. While digging they could come across a new threat like a family of foxes or a badger that the other clans would have to help them fight. However this would give away the fact that WindClan had these tunnels and a war type thing would happen because of it as it have them an advantage during leafbare and during battles. I would also love to have explored how the tunnels do in fact help with battles. Since in Tallstar’s Revenge the tunnelers thought themselves better then moor runners, I would have loved to see conflict between that more. As well as the tunnelers making tunnels in the other clans without the leader’s knowledge creating conflict there by an apprentice finding out and not agreeing with it and having a struggle within themselves on if they should tell the leader or not. And it can make for some different Windclan villain content. I love WindClan and I feel like if they kept the tunneling system it would make for some really interesting stuff.
Oracle372 Really? That sounds cool. I haven’t been reading Warriors lately so I wouldn’t know and I’d be glad if they took a change like one Moonkitti suggested.
Starstruck maybe they would realize that they have a broken code (lol) and make changes to it I must add on the main problem the clans always express with mediators is they will have bias but if there’s a group there’s less room for bias because they can get every calms opinion without everyone shouting at a gathering
This structure could just make so many more plots like: - the life of a messenger - greencough plot but better cuz the whole clan must quarantine itself causing the other clans to struggle without the help provided by them. The clan also struggling with being isolated from the rest of society. During this quarantine it could well separate friendships relationships and families - when there is a fight, it’ll actually matter as it’s not in the norm and more cats will be involved. Also fight might be about something with more substance than “that was my lunch!”. Give is the family drama Erins - when someone (we’ll say Cat A) leaves a clan then on those missions to fix beaver dams or something, where cats from different come together for a mission, Cat A may reunite with an old clan mate who hasn’t forgiven them - “my mate is an emergency rescue cat so I rarely get to see them and I miss them a lot” plot - show off unique cultures and diversity between the main cast like “I’ve just come from windclan to thunderclan and woah everything is very different” and “I’m mean apprentice and I think our exchange clan mate is really weird” That’s all I’ve got for now I should write fanfiction
Or maybe, a clan leader's kit changed clans, and they want them back so they just kinda declare war on thet particular clan. Maybe they do som thing to t he water, or forbide messangers and medicine cats from going to the clan.
Borkstarss yesss like because the clans are usually in a state of peace and not war, it actually has meaning when a clan does declare war. Also having like a leader who declares war cuz their kit’s left is such a cool motive!
Melon CP, would you be angry if i explored these ideas and wrote some of them? your ideas are awesome and i'd love to make fanfiction based off some of them :D
also a new(ish) role: helpers, like ferncloud and daisy that help with kits or maybe medicine cat duties and just generally stay at camp (also toms in this position please)
If Bluestar when she was Bluefur had a helper when she'd had her kits she might even have been able to keep her kits and be deputy at the same time. Some people say Daisy mooches off the clan but she helps raise kits not just her own in the nursery. How is a baby(kit)sitter a mooch!? It would be a vital role and keep some cats from making the most horrid mistake of their lives (since Bluestar did feel like that was a horrid mistake at one point. She loved her kits... but having help so she could further her ambitions like a tom still would have been able to even with kits... that whole not being able to lead while having kits is bs to me negl)... just imagine the AU that could spawn in certain cases... more eyes on a kit could keep some kits from sneaking out of camp or more easily getting kitnapped...
I hope you see this moonkitti. I think there should be another role: researcher(name is not permanent). They explore and well, research. They would discover new methods, herbs, skills, etc. They would work closely with medicine cats to figure out a new herb or medical procedure. They would track the migration of prey and track the weather. Like mediators, there would be a certain amount for each clan(2 in order to keep the knowledge flowing smoothly). They would identify new animals and plants, and maybe even research twolegs. They would share their knowledge with the other researchers too. The knowledge they collect would stay pretty clandestine, in order to keep non researchers from getting knowledge that may use it to cause harm(like a cat using a newly discovered plant to poison and kill a cat before anyone else knows of this plant, making it a clean and untraceable murder). What do ya think?
I personally like that! Especially the researcher and storm tracker thing. They're able to tell apart different bird species, so why not research their prey to learn their habits and behaviour? In the books, prey just comes and is found whenever, but in real life they have patterns and such. Found in specific zones, etc. As for the medicinal stuff and other things, it seems a bit too advanced. I feel like if that happened, that would be an overwhelming amount of knowledge to just know and be expected to keep and pass down to the next generation. Maybe if they were able to track/put it all down on something, it would be possible somehow, but they can't write or anything, so the basics is what they stay with. However, it is a fictional series so..
Behold my fanclan: the musical nomads! -They’re a wandering group of easygoing traveling cats that love to sing, dance, and play on their homemade (mainly percussion) instruments they carry in stolen two leg bags. -They meet the clans by wandering in, singing and dancing and playing hollowed out twigs like horns when they accidentally walk into the middle of a gathering. - I imagine they are also very good at climbing trees and very skilled with their claws, which they use to carve and weave their instruments. -They are a more nocturnal group. -They love to tell stories about their travels and the creatures they’d met.
that sounds absolutely awesome but the detail about them being nocturnal is so funny imagine a troop of band kids walking into your house playing music at 3am and then leaving as suddenly as they came
It's funny that Starclan basically begs the clans to stay as clans when they all have one collective unit. Why would they want these cats who are very capable of coexisting as shown in the great journey arc to stay apart? Saying "well the friends you made will be yr friend when you get to Starclan :)" doesn't cut it because by the time they DO die they will probably not even like each other anymore
Something I tried to change when I designed my fanclan, Fallowmoor, was just this. The Fallowcats are in a clan because the environment they’re in makes living in most other ways very difficult. Rogues usually have to live in cities or villages nearby and not in the wilderness, most other cat groups die off because they don’t have the rules in place to manage themselves long term. Fallowmoor is in a constant state of low prey, and they decided to make their rules strict to stay alive. They’ve got a rank called Warlord because they need someone to manage ONLY hunting and combat, and because most cats they meet are aggressive due to the harsh conditions. And while they’ll generally accept outside cats into the clan, that very much depends on their food stores and the predator/prey ratio. Recently, they just discovered a clan owned by my friend about a day’s journey away called RavenClan. Fallowmoor is extremely defensive about RavenClan at the moment, because until they prove they truly are an ally and will help them, they don’t want to give up what little they have. So any mixing in terms of friendships or romances at the moment is a huge no, because that could lead to traitorous behavior if RavenClan proves to be an enemy of Fallowmoor. Chances are, once the two gain an ally-loyalty to each other, many of those temporary rules will go away. Fallowmoor will protect RavenClan just as they’d protect themselves. Cats will probably move clans, I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a situation where one group has more medicine cats/high disciples than the other and they send the other group one. And I’d argue I’m writing Fallowmoor stricter than the Warriors Clans, but their rules have to be in their best interest and not be made in pride or they’ll die within months of their creation.
@@BugsyBugYT Wa-hey I never responded to you! Thank you so much though! I loved my Irish kitties back in the day. I since decommissioned Fallowmoor and have moved on to a story I prefer, with-- funny enough-- a group with very LOOSE rules. Their social dynamics are much harsher and complex, though! They're better described as a collection of nomadic, semi-organized rogues with holidays and culture and a defining religious belief. Without Fallowmoor I'd never have gotten here, though. :"]
@@unknowable4147 Thank you!! My friend had a lot of great ideas. It worked out really well until we disbanded the two and moved on to other stories, and it helped me in my writing skill for sure to work with them. I carry those UK cats in my heart forever though.
I just realized that Ivypool and Fersong’s children are Firestar’s great great great nieces/nephew *and* his great great grandchildren. They def need more genetic diversity.
Can the cats have more culture? Like holidays, sports, urban legends & cryptids, and hobbies that don't include hurting things? Dustpelt's den building makes him so much more interesting. "But what hobbies would Wildcats have?" You ask, well I think collecting stuff could make sence. I thought of a character who collects smooth rocks by the river instead of doing work because they're an oddball, you could have a feather collector. Heck why not have cat art? It would be stuff like putting pretty feathers on a wall in camp but it would add to their feeling of culture. Why don't these sentient beings have a creative outlet???
RiverClan's my favorite Clan because, when I read the field guide as a little kid, I read RiverClan cats wove shells and feathers into their nest walls. That's it. That's the reason. So, I think this idea of adding actual culture outside of not telling people things and hunting certain animals and killing cats because they overstepped their boundaries is a good idea. I'm writing a fanfiction, and two apprentices on their off time converted an old training ground into a playground of sorts by de-weeding it, taking out rocks, and cutting out roots so they can play games and do zoomies. Games like throwing rocks (who can throw a rock the farthest), hide and seek, warriors and rogues, tag, or just laying under the stars. ThunderClan live in the thickest parts of the forest, so finding a place to stargaze or properly sunbathe outside of leaf-bare is rare. It takes a lot of the word count, sure, and it breaks up the parts where MC apprentice is hunting and battle training, but we don't get enough times in the canon books where apprentices goof off and play games.
"Reading the Broken Code, every clan feels like the same clan" I legit have to keep reminding myself Bristlefrost and Rootpaw are not from the same clan and i think that might be why. We'll switch pov but I forget that it got switched until a cat that I strongly associate with that clan gets mentioned.
I'm not into broken code yet, but I suppose that it doesn't help that skyclan and Thunderclan are not very different from each other. As moonkitti said, Skyclan is just Thunderclan who jumps a little higher
I think that this is because modern Skyclan was created by a Thunderclan cat. Therefore they are similar because modern Skyclan was taught the Thunderclan ways!
I personally would love to see the opposite of sol and shadowclan-situation happen: a clan gets so obsessed with starclan and warrior code they end up completely rejecting all other clans and influences from outside. We have had several situations where cats either don't believe in starclan or their faith has been very low, but i can't point any example where anyone has had too much faith in them, to the point of doing terrible things for them. Like, sure, it's cool religion and all, but how come no-one has used it as a means to do whatever they please? Where's my evil, corrupt medicine cat who purposefully changes prophecies to fit their own narrative? Or just... any evil medicine cat that is evil on purpose?
I mean The Broken Coda does kinda show that the clans are so dependent on StarClan that when they are silent they'll believe literally anyone who says they're from StarClan- But that is really a cool concept!
Things I would adore to see in warrior cats (aus perhaps): -More diverse personalities between cats, especially within the clans for warriors, deputies and leaders. almost all cats seem to have either three personalities and whenever a cat becomes leader (with the exeption of Firestar) they lose whatever personality they seem to have. It's boring. I'm personally a fanatic for eccentric leaders, since they rule the clan they can influence so much. Also would make a great way for a French Revolution AU. -More diversity and culture between the clans. They're literally all the same right now. Give me different folktales, stories, legends, celebrations and even traditions. Like different sleep schedules, ways of burial. Or even different ascentions like each clan would have their own unqiue way of warriors assessment or apprenticeship ceremonies. -More magic-ish AUs. And darker AUs as well. Magic is already canon to exist, why not go all out? Some user on tumblr mentioned a great AU that I cannot stop thinking about where whenever a leader loses a life, they also lose whatever value the life given to them was. Like if they lost a life for compassion they would slowly become crueler. It's such a cool AU and I'd love for it to be utilize. -For changes to happen to the clans. Literally no changes happens in the warrior code until recently. The history they have is extremely boring. Give me plots and schemes, give me drama. Write the history not as if you are writing a book but as if you were writing actual history and you were a historian. Fuck stupid clan border conflicts. I want anarchy, war, plots, schemes and etc. Also the clans seem to have no development in advancement whatsoever. Why stop there? Why not have medicine cats invent new herbs or the warriors to invent new training technqiues. -More of a based system with more lore. Abuse of power is extremely easy in the clan system, let's utilize that and make a new plot. And no, I don't mean Brokenstar #2 or something. Also royal systems are so fun to incorporate. A royal court in the clan would be cool or like minister-like roles and chief advisors. The way of leader sucession could change as well. Also the clans aren't democratic really either, so royal aus would be extremely cool. -Following the previous post, bringing more real life element into the clans. Clans are known to invade territory. That's basically colonization. Go all out, add a royal system and darker elements then you can work on that with the plot. The canon books are so boring. I can write better plots than that (maybe I should do a rewrite). If Warrior Cats don't want the cats to be friendly (like in this video) then this is really the only other direction the series can go in.
I have a Big Wish that there’s just a really kind clancat that joyously helps cats outside of his clan - not just because it’s right, but because he politely disagrees with the society’s rules. I need a ray-of-sunshine cat in my life that’s also lowkey a rebellious badass.
Yoooo that was one of my OCs lmao She didn't like sitting in one place so she'd hop from clan to clan acting like a messenger. If a clan needed some help, she would gladly go over and help. But while it's peaceful, she'd stay in a clan for a while before moving on to the next one (or even just sitting just outside the clan and helping loners/kittypets out)
One thing I’ve never gotten past was when Rusty had just joined and asked why the clans were all separated and (I can’t remember if it was Whitestorm or Lionheart) basically just responded with “You just don’t understand bc you’re a kittypet.” Then later on, once Fire was a ‘real’ warrior cat, he’s just like, “Oh yes, I understand now. This is just how thing are bc we’re warriors and just because.” Then he starts bringing up some other weak, and mostly unrelated points to support this, but it’s still doesn’t seem like a conclusion that a generally open minded character like him would come to. It honestly feels like it was a problem that he would notice but realize it’s too big to fix, and to avoid him constantly being displeased by it, they just wrote him as completely accepting it and threw in a few scattered reasons to try to keep this decision consistent with Fire’s personality. (I really need to learn to stop typing paragraphs in the comments :,))
I can just imagine the queens combining and stealing the island for themselves and when they had kits they would be like “Soooo kiddo, what clan do ya wanna be in? Riverclan eat fish, Thunderclan sit around in a forest, Shadowclan punch cats in their faces, Skyclan climb trees and windclan *run* “
Windclan with tunnels: Catch rabbit - run fast ! Dig holes- love dirt ! =Plot + rivalry Windclan without tunnel: Catch rabbit- run fast ! = A culture centered around the prey they eat even though they sometimes eat other stuff. And now they have nothing about them different from thunderclan besides the grass and running faster
I hate how the tunnels were created just to show how bad they were and how dangerous they seemed. I totally get the Tallstar's arc, I think he should have ended as a runner in the end anyways but it didn't need to abolish tunnelers as a whole to achieve that. It was so disappointing to hear all those elders' stories and seeing tunnels in practice (only for hunting sadly) while knowing it was all going to an end.. imagine seeing them in action like during battles or drought, they were so interesting and different I wish the Erins were braver in their writing and go wild
..how many medicine cats were trained as warriors beforehand? I know Yellowfang outright was a full-on warrior, cinderpelt had warrior training, jayfeather kindof had warrior training, Mothwing had the training... did this rule.. ever really apply other than for convenience?
I can actually get behind this.I am American so i can see the clans working like states and i really like the idea of cats running around helping the United Clans of the Lake.
I haven't touched the warrior books since I was like 12 (turning 20 this Feb), but it all came back to me so clearly that I agree with you. It seems like the writers went too far into the weeds when designing the world space and in the process shot themselves in the foot when things started to get old. Thanks for the memories!
Same! I'm also turning 20 in Feb, I havent read the books since firestar died and honestly, I think the series just needs to end. it should've ended after that, now it's just becoming repetitive and more and more unrealistic, the more I hear about it
@@emilyr1959 So, so late that my 21st birthday is literally in an hour (July 3rd), but I totally agree. I feel like it should have stopped after firestar died, with the exception of DotC (which I absolutely adore). It was the natural ending place, gave lots of space for fan theories, and was very much the climax of the overarching narrative.
I read through the New Prophecy arc and stopped because it wasn't nearly as good as the originals. I want to understand this stuff more, but I don't want to actually read the books because I don't have time or patience
@@princerufioh But can’t you download them somewhere on the internet for free? That’s what I do because they don’t sell them here where I live, and I don’t have enough money to buy them (at least I downloaded the books of the power of three, which is what I’m reading now)
As someone who has been recently introduced to these books, I can say I had a high expectations for these, mainly because I was already familiar with Tui (I was really into WoF) and I was severely disappointed. All the clans felt horrifically bland, I especially felt like WindClan was absolutely wasted potential. As the most “Religious” group, it would be cool to see their beliefs in StarClan spiral into somewhat madness, like making sacrifices. That would make an interesting arc. Or RiverClan, what if they lived in the river, and built dens sprouting up from it, and could hold their breath longer than other cats? These are the kinds of things I want to see in Warriors.
Unfortunately, I do not believe Tui writes for the Warriors series but one of its spinoffs... it was either Seekers or Survivors. But if they were hemmed in by the story team and editors, I'm not sure that it would have been any better than it is now. It seems like when there is less cooks in the kitchen with writing the better it may be. Not always, especially with how swiftly they churn out the books...

the clans talk so much about the warrior code, as if it's so important: "oh why would any cat break the warrior code!" "you can't do that, it's against the warrior code!" "stop visiting arrowtail!!! you are windclan, redfoot!!! arrowtail is THUNDERCLAN!!!!!!!!!!! that BREAKS the WARRIOR CODE!!!!". and just now, in the newest series, some sort of punishment for the protagonists who broke the warrior code and everybody kind of just said "lol ok they're important anyways we cant punish not allowed" is being established. the broken code is starting to make a part of clan culture that has been made up to be so important but also practically ignored by main characters seem actually significant and bringing it back to the light. maybe something similar will happen with clan borders in.......... oh god oh heck....... the........... the next arc.. also i had a similar idea to make new ranks. i'd also thought "well it's obvious that every clan needs a mediator like why only skyclan why does skyclan get to be special what else is special about skyclan oh yeah they can climb trees ok yes is that not special enough for you". but another change i had in mind was dividing the whole "warriors" group into three, to give cats more focus and the option to more specifically do what they want to do. just have hunters and guards, where hunters only really have to focus on hunting and guards only really have to focus on guarding/fighting. the third rank was similar to moon's idea for the messengers, except they're called scouts. a scout would be small and quick, capable of traversing any kind of clan territory to quickly do what they need to do, whether it's sending a message, looking for herbs, scouting for foxes/badgers, and anything else of the sort i couldn't think of more examples. ok this was long and definitely not worth it even to share my ideas yeah ok B YE
If Moonkitti was a warrior character, all of the clans problems would be solved in one chapter. Though that would require the clans to not be boneheaded and actually listen...
I had an Idea that 4 apprentices from each clan would spend a quarter moon in each clan besid ee's s their own to see how they operate some where in the middle of their apprenticeship just to understand that they're all the same.
Probably no one will read this, but the main thing I would change about the clans if a could would just be them having holidays, and having things to look forward too. In my oc clans there are two big holidays called the Day of the Sun, and the Night of Stories, celebrated on the summer and winter solstice respectively. On the Day of the Sun, the clans celebrate kits and queens and new growth and life, and during the Night of Stories, elders and ancestors are celebrated, and the elders tell tales of seasons gone by, and stories from the clans mythology. Even little things like that can really make a setting feel more alive. I would also have spirituality play a different role, and be treated more like an actual religion and not just a weird overbearing boss in the sky. Again, in my oc clans, they practice something a bit like baptism. The territories contain five small pools, four of them belonging to a special clan, called the Night Pool, Horizon Pool, Ripple Pool, and Moon Pool respectively (named after each of the clans), and when a kit becomes an apprentice, or apprentice becomes a warrior, they submerge themselves in their pool to wash of their old name in preparation for their new one. The fifth pool is called the Star Pool, and is where they communicate with StarClan. At the bottom of the pool is a shard of glass called the Star Shard, that the cats believe is an actual star on earth. And new leaders must swim to the bottom and touch their noses to the Star Shard to gain their nine lives. My oc clans also have a third afterlife other than StarClan or the Dark Forest, called the Twilight Valley that basically acts like a purgatory. There’s still no stars, but there is scarce prey and clean water, and like the name suggests, it’s always twilight, unlike the Dark Forest, where it’s always night, or StarClan, where it is always day. The environment isn’t great, but it’s far more hospitable than the dark forest. Sometimes, though it’s extremely rare, if a cat in the Dark Forest can come to terms with what led them there, and truly feel guilty, they can find their way to the Twilight Valley, and if their victims forgive them, they might even be allowed into StarClan. Although this has only happened about 7 times in clan history, and most cats will just wander the Twilight Valley forever. Which I think if far better then warriors strict no redemption for anyone even stance.
If it was up to me, I would probably have a council of leaders who discuss important matters, rather than the present "I'm your leader, everything I say is right and anyone who objects will be punished" way.
Honestly I’m really enjoying The Broken Code’s structure and writing so far. I hope it takes a unique turn though, you bring up some great points and now I can’t help but feel like the code or formation of Clans should change.
I really hope that after the broken code, the clans finally fix some of the loopholes with the warrior code. Mainly, I want them to just add "unless it goes against other parts of the warrior code" to the part about how the word of the leader is the warrior code
So does this mean that we have to wait until someone dies in Broken Code, so RootPaw can see them wander with BrambleClawStar and finally understand “wait, somethings wrong.”
Some ideas I had on how to make clan life more interesting, and more world building. 1. A living code: having cats actively making new laws and changing old ones to accommodate new circumstances, not only that, but it creates more specialized “trades” for these cats, having scholars, diplomats, and politicians. Having some sort of senate would allow for new and different conflicts. In my mind, the senate of cats would meet at the gatherings, and be made up of leaders, medicine cats, deputies, as well as senior warriors and elders. And to change up the structure even more, having set diplomatic cats, who are trained by both leaders and medicine cats, these would be cats who were neither warriors nor medicine cats, but something in the middle. Tree is a good example of what these cats would be, and what their responsibilities are. 2. Cultures. The clans at their core are almost exactly the same, the same political structure, almost the same past times, and so on and so forth. The only clan that seems distinct from the others is SkyClan. Having different cultures would help separate them, and justify that separation. Having different customs from clan to clan would be a lot more interesting. The cats have no holidays, and celebrations, 3. The lack of stories and known history. It boogles my mind that there is almost no mythologies mentioned in the books, no heroes, no art or scholars of any kind, although the cats have no writing system, having poets and cats who specialize in oral traditions could be interesting. 4. Trade routes. Having regular contact with cats outside the clans. They trade would be on information, and herbs, as well as general updates.
One thing I think could be cool for messengers to potentially do is just rotate between clans. Like, maybe in a circle around the lake with the Windclan messenger going to Riverclan and then to Shadowclan to share certain news, but when something is urgent it’s a quicker rotation between less clans. Say, if Thunderclan needed Windclan’s help for something, messenger 1 would go over to Windclan and tell them about it. Messenger 2 would go back to Thunderclan with the reply so that messenger 1 would get a break or something like that. Then they would go back and forth until the problem was solved. Although, if there’s something even more urgent that needs to be solved immediately it would just be one, maybe two rotations. Just a thought.

I love your ideas, will definitely use them for when i get around to making my own clans and stuff. Here's some more ideas following Moonkitti's: - There could be some sort of cool new ritual for when one or more cats permanently move out of their clan to go to a new clan. Like some sort of goodbye and then welcome ceremony, complete with blessings from Starclan and all that. - Certain apprentices could be sent to another clan for a while as part of their apprenticeship, like some sort of student exchange program but warrior cats version. They'd learn all about what life is like in the other clan they're sent at, would be assigned a new mentor for the duration of their stay, etc. It is expected of the clan that receives the apprentice that they protect them and treat them as they would one of their own. This could also lead to plot shenanigans if an apprentice comes back injured or traumatized from their stay. - Speaking of plot shenanigans, here's some juicy drama that could STILL happen if Moonkitti's ideas were included: ~ Fighting for land and prey. Even if it's not a regular thing anymore, it only takes one jerk to ruin it for everyone. ~ Maybe if you're on another clan's territory, you're supposed to give a reason, as a security measure (a shitty security measure, but a security measure nonetheless). One day, a patrol is too wary of a certain cat and engage combat. Said cat comes back injured to their clan, and turns out they had no ill intent at all. Shenanigans ensue. That's all for now! I might edit this comment if more ideas come to mind.
Yeah. I love this idea; I have this world I made a while ago that's like 'a good couple hundred years into the future'; basically, the cats have physically and culturally very much changed, due to very much not combining. Windclan is tall, lanky and fast. Thunderclan is big, thick-coated and usually brown. SkyClan are agile and light. Riverclan have webbed paws and have streamlined bodies. ShadowClan... I dunno how ShadowClan would change. Maybe slightly webby paws and oily fur like RiverClan, but bigger and more catlike, like ThunderClan. All of the clans have varying cultures and accents; maybe WindClan is southern, ThunderClan could be British, SkyClan Irish, whatever suits your taste.
Wynter ShadowClan would probably be sleek furred, with wide eyes and they can be very beefy whether they are tall or short. Not to mention how they have a swampy environment they probably have slicker movements or night vision? They are also, moral wise at least can be unorthodox, but not rule breakers when they are “behaved.”
Wynter I actually had the same idea for accents. Here’s a list of the ideas I had Thunderclan: British Accent Windclan: Irish Accent Shadowclan: Scottish or German Accent Riverclan: Undecided Skyclan: Undecided Kittypets: American Accent Rogues: Undecided but probably Russian or something Loners: Southern Accent
I personally believe that Starclan purposefully encourages the constant turmoil of clan rivalry and conflict in order to siphon power from the blood of fallen warriors in some kind of grand on-going necromantic ritual. Starclan cats and cats of the Dark forest have been shown to affect the world of the living during times of conflict or arising conflict. Of course, Starclan does not seek to have the clans annihilate each other, as that would leave them without living cats that are under their power of influence, so instead, they play the card of benevolent ancestors providing guidance and wisdom when in actuality its all a ruse to keep ultimate control over the _fate_ of the clans.
I just want to see another clan's perspective aside from Thunderclan! They are our main focus and I want to see other clans! Also, inbreeding has to be a problem now, I mean you can't leave a bunch of cats with only each other and not expect inbreeding to happen somewhere down the line. Another idea similar to this would be organizing the land like a province, having different "towns" and maybe even a capital where once a moon (Or less often) they would gather at the capital and have some sort of announcing of things and maybe even like a party!

I would’ve guessed Firestar’s impact as a leader when he started out as a kittypet would permanently rid the bias the clan cats have over outsiders. Sadly, Bramblestar seemed to have hit the reset button on foreign cat acceptance outside a brief relationship with one in his Super Edition.
which makes sense cuz it was after the mess darktail did.

Yeah! Seasonal festivals n such would be really cool!!!
They should have a celebration Everytime they choose a new leader and said chosen cat gets their new lives,,,,, like a dance,,,,,,or perhaps a ball. It should have a name, maybe one that's total nonsense like 'the Jellicle ball' or something

I can already imagine how this would create more interesting plots. Imagine a murder mystery arc, where a messenger is found dead on the border between two clans. The series would be about trying to figure out who killed them, and why? Why would you want to cut off clan communication? Much more interesting than “omg they’re hunting on my lawn again!!1!1!”

this version of warrior cats sounds waaaay more fun than current warriors
Someone gotta make a story about this because i'd love to read it from a messangers perspective. Like they might witness a fight or something hella interesting. This makes me really sad current warrior cats isn't like this.
I remember even making like a mini story where a leader and medicine cat were driven out of the clans for loving eachother, and in turn they started convincing cats to live with them from all different clans. And somehow it ended up being more interesting then the actual books!
Thats the point
Bruh this sounds like a warrior cat village! owo
@gapple * nice! 👌
Plot hole tbh I allllways wondered that as well
because territory drama. easy way to start conflict with barely any thought.....
EXACTLY. There’s literally no reason ShadowClan needs WindClan’s rabbits when they’ve got swathes of unclaimed forest all around them.
@@Corviidei yeah, you can blame the writers for that one. It sounds like a "if book gets boring just make cats do desperate dumb stuff"

Yeah, I also think there should be an official "builder" job separate from the warriors. The. The messengers could help them too.
@@purple6242 i like that. But I also think every cat should have basic self defense and medical training. I dont want that issue that the tribe has. Oh noooo I'm a hunter idk how to fightt??

The fact the mothers become queens and stay in the clan with their kittens until they become apprentices while the fathers are working is okay in my opinion, it can work in many ways but I'd also love to see more characters being against it

Squirrelflight is an awesome character that reminds me more of the male protagonists in the series but she is the only one who gets punished for certain activities (even though she is morally correct)
The way she-cats are treated when they are in a relationship with a cat from other clan is something different, stories from Yellowfang and Leafpool show how terribly they are treated even by their ancestors while their male partners face no real consequences

Maybe if there's a WindClan protag after A Starless Clan there could be a plot about bringing the tunneler role back

Wdym you wish? Your wish has already come true
Them slowly changing over time would be so interesting- especially with the broken code's current structure and plot
Starstruck maybe they would realize that they have a broken code (lol) and make changes to it I must add on the main problem the clans always express with mediators is they will have bias but if there’s a group there’s less room for bias because they can get every calms opinion without everyone shouting at a gathering
This structure could just make so many more plots like:
- the life of a messenger
- greencough plot but better cuz the whole clan must quarantine itself causing the other clans to struggle without the help provided by them. The clan also struggling with being isolated from the rest of society. During this quarantine it could well separate friendships relationships and families
- when there is a fight, it’ll actually matter as it’s not in the norm and more cats will be involved. Also fight might be about something with more substance than “that was my lunch!”. Give is the family drama Erins
- when someone (we’ll say Cat A) leaves a clan then on those missions to fix beaver dams or something, where cats from different come together for a mission, Cat A may reunite with an old clan mate who hasn’t forgiven them
- “my mate is an emergency rescue cat so I rarely get to see them and I miss them a lot” plot
- show off unique cultures and diversity between the main cast like “I’ve just come from windclan to thunderclan and woah everything is very different” and “I’m mean apprentice and I think our exchange clan mate is really weird”
That’s all I’ve got for now I should write fanfiction
I like your ideas! They look like some really fun plots; only if the Erins would listen ~^~
Leave the link, those ideas sound awesome
May I use this for my original stories and clans?
So a queen who doesn't have kits, can be male and has a few more jobs? Awesome!
Like Briarlight with Jayfeather 🥹
“Then we took out the oven mitt and she was like WOW I can’t believe such a small oven mitt caused this fire” “Shut up alderheart you’re over sharing”
Lesson learned: StarClan sucks, Tigerstar was (half) right
Other than the hatred towards half clan cats and the way he handled it then... yeah he had a point-
StarClan: wait, that’s illegal

@@Trailtracker they make the plot per series
Hm. Researcher sounds a bit too cultured/modern for warriors, but yeah, that could work.
I like it but not quite so much.
Maybe after a while of this system/combine with med cats
I like that idea and propose the Term "Seeker" for them (as in Seeking knowledge)

Lets make Crowfeather clones please
I love crowfeather
Daimon Wings Yes it’s perfect we need them
Trailtracker Oh no the thought of that is too much
Idea: clone everyone who doesn’t look like Tigerstar
It's funny that Starclan basically begs the clans to stay as clans when they all have one collective unit. Why would they want these cats who are very capable of coexisting as shown in the great journey arc to stay apart? Saying "well the friends you made will be yr friend when you get to Starclan :)" doesn't cut it because by the time they DO die they will probably not even like each other anymore
Jack Valentine ... no it’s a matter of how it wouldn’t work because I’m character no one would go for that dumbass
That all sounds extremely interesting!!
That makes so much sense! Great thinking on your guys part :D
@@BugsyBugYT Wa-hey I never responded to you! Thank you so much though! I loved my Irish kitties back in the day. Ykaterina Coleslaw
YES
YES. especially since we see jayfeather gardening with his herbs already, that would be a really cool role!
Maybe they could do wall art caveman-style with berry juice? Like if their camp is in a cave or a crater
This is why i loved when they were playing hockey on the ice (rip Flametail) and the random cat Olympics in power of 3😂

Things I would adore to see in warrior cats (aus perhaps):
-More diverse personalities between cats, especially within the clans for warriors, deputies and leaders. almost all cats seem to have either three personalities and whenever a cat becomes leader (with the exeption of Firestar) they lose whatever personality they seem to have.
Messenger seems like a role that apprentices would be clamoring for. It's interesting.
I have a Big Wish that there’s just a really kind clancat that joyously helps cats outside of his clan - not just because it’s right, but because he politely disagrees with the society’s rules. I need a ray-of-sunshine cat in my life that’s also lowkey a rebellious badass.

Yoooo that was one of my OCs lmao
She didn't like sitting in one place so she'd hop from clan to clan acting like a messenger.

I hate how the tunnels were created just to show how bad they were and how dangerous they seemed.

Moonkitti: “I want warriors cats to change!”
Me: “I think that’s a great idea Moonii!!!!!!”
the clans talk so much about the warrior code, as if it's so important: "oh why would any cat break the warrior code!" "you can't do that, it's against the warrior code!" "stop visiting arrowtail!!! you are windclan, redfoot!!! arrowtail is THUNDERCLAN!!!!!!!!!!! that BREAKS the WARRIOR CODE!!!!". and just now, in the newest series, some sort of punishment for the protagonists who broke the warrior code and everybody kind of just said "lol ok they're important anyways we cant punish not allowed" is being established.
the broken code is starting to make a part of clan culture that has been made up to be so important but also practically ignored by main characters seem actually significant and bringing it back to the light. maybe something similar will happen with clan borders in.......... oh god oh heck....... the........... the next arc..
also i had a similar idea to make new ranks. i'd also thought "well it's obvious that every clan needs a mediator like why only skyclan why does skyclan get to be special what else is special about skyclan oh yeah they can climb trees ok yes is that not special enough for you". but another change i had in mind was dividing the whole "warriors" group into three, to give cats more focus and the option to more specifically do what they want to do. just have hunters and guards, where hunters only really have to focus on hunting and guards only really have to focus on guarding/fighting. the third rank was similar to moon's idea for the messengers, except they're called scouts. a scout would be small and quick, capable of traversing any kind of clan territory to quickly do what they need to do, whether it's sending a message, looking for herbs, scouting for foxes/badgers, and anything else of the sort i couldn't think of more examples.
ok this was long and definitely not worth it even to share my ideas yeah ok B YE

OCforEverything ;-; can I use your idea in my... uhhh.... fanfic? I’ll give credit if I do post or talk about it on this channel!
@@thistle_flowers5018 YES! absolutely! That would be awesome :)
I am a fanfic writer 2.
I love this! I adore this! and exchange apprentices, going to get experience in other clans to widen their worldview
No one:
Absolutely no one:
Moonkitti: Desegregate the Clans
Us : DIVERSITY! LISTEN TO USSS!
Erins : “Y’all hear sumn?”
it would actually be cool if the clans all mashed up together
Ghost Girl right
So essentially TigerStar’s dream but actually happened.
that must be why DOTC was so good :/
Form Voltron!
If it was up to me, I would probably have a council of leaders who discuss important matters, rather than the present "I'm your leader, everything I say is right and anyone who objects will be punished" way.
*immediately opens a notebook to rethink all my OC clans*
All I want for Christmas is Warrior Cats to Change Permanently -Moonkitti 2019
Well, in that case it would happen quickly considering the cats die like flies all the time.
moonkitti: all the clans are basically the same
riverclan: are you sure about that? WE EAT FRICKIN FISH
Alternative title:
Moonkitti bullies a children's fiction about a cult of cats.
Do as they say in Dawn of the clans “Unite or Die”
The way the clans are at the end of Dawn of the Clans probably the best the clans will ever be.
God, that was a good prequel series..
@Grenien I agree that was the most United all of the clans will ever be
@Bluebun Animates!
It was sooooo good
@@Greatwolfpearl123 ABSOLUTELY!
The cats have no holidays, and celebrations,
The answer: The Clan Cats are Christians
Lol. Against LGBTQ and birth control XD

*TIGERSTAR WAS RIGHT*
-Moonkitti 2019
Good idea
How I feel about Lionpaw chapters;
Lionpaw: *is happy with heather paw*
Hawkfrost: no
Me: when will this chapter end
56 pages later
Lionpaw: *tired noises and last page noises*
Me: FINALLY UGH
chapter: Is lionpaw’s again
Chapter: you thought
WarriorAsh I always hated the Lionpaw chapters haha
dont hate me, but i like the lionpaw chapters and i actually disliked the hollypaw chapters
zza zza zza that’s fine, I don’t mind opinions -w-
WarriorAsh unlike entertaining chats
Coolcat 45 hah
“And a lot of the time the warrior cats are trying to force their culture on other cats.” So basic history?
XD yeah
"If a cat feels that they would find themselves more useful in WindClan than in SkyClan, they should be able to have the option to Twigbranch themselves over."
I love this idea, like the clans _actually_ caring about each other
cARdbOarDFur Draws no! That’s not the point of the fucking series! The clans shouldn’t care about each other, they’re in the way of their survival, numb nuts
Entertaining Chats you can stop responding to every comment you don’t agree with and insulting people for their opinions
@@Smallestpenis Accept 👏 fucking 👏 opinions.
Entertaining Chats this feels sarcastic but if it isn’t did you even listen to the video
A summary of this video:
Tigerstar was right
EXCEPT, maybe without killing half-clan cats
I love your ideas, will definitely use them for when i get around to making my own clans and stuff. Here's some more ideas following Moonkitti's:
- There could be some sort of cool new ritual for when one or more cats permanently move out of their clan to go to a new clan.
- Speaking of plot shenanigans, here's some juicy drama that could STILL happen if Moonkitti's ideas were included:
~ Fighting for land and prey.
I might edit this comment if more ideas come to mind.
no one:
tree: doesn’t this all seem kind of pointless?
the clans: *are you dumb or stupid?*
I think the five clans should become more distinct from each other, like human kingdoms or the races in The Hobbit.
Here’s a list of the ideas I had
Thunderclan: British Accent
Windclan: Irish Accent
Shadowclan: Scottish or German Accent
Riverclan: Undecided
Skyclan: Undecided
Kittypets: American Accent
Rogues: Undecided but probably Russian or something
Loners: Southern Accent
the later series are just living
proof that tigerstar was right
I personally believe that Starclan purposefully encourages the constant turmoil of clan rivalry and conflict in order to siphon power from the blood of fallen warriors in some kind of grand on-going necromantic ritual.
