I love your love story. I love how God brought you both a second love! My husband grew up on a dairy farm and I grew up in a small town...no barn life. LOL I know what you mean, some how it seems to be meant to be. I love your home. It is beautiful. Having a home built by love and hard work makes it so special. He certainly had an angel looking out for him between the fire and the tornado. You are both so God given talented. You two made a beautiful home together. Those cabinets in your kitchen are beautiful. I love your deep big drawers. With my back I can not get down to look in cabinets, the drawers would be wonderful. Sandy you are welcome to come to PA and help decorate my home anytime. I am amazed. Seeing his hats hanging on the log by the pantry reminds me of my mothers cousin's home her brother brought in trees to frame and build similar to yours and in the bathroom he put a small tree with a limb and that is her towel bar. I have to go see it every time I visit. I just think it is amazing. There are builders who slap things together then there are true carpenters! Thank you to you and your amazing husband for sharing your home with us. May God to continue to bless you both with a lifetime of love and good health and good times together.
I am very blessed to have two very special husbands. Didn't think I would ever remarry after my first passed away. How would I ever be comfortable with anyone else but my Mark? Then I meet Loran. He is a very special man. He asked me if I minded his hats hanging from the cedar post and that he would take them down. I loved them there. I did ask him to remove the tools from the mantle though...lol
It's incredible how 2 talented people came together. The house is amazing and no doubt he is proud of all you've done to make it so beautiful.. I just am in awe. God Bless You all ❤❤

Hi Sandy....just watched this video...and wow what a talented man your husband is....especially love all the trim work and the mantel...so many hours spent preparing the trees to make your house a home....also love the photo of Sally...and let's not forget you and your talent...you have filled your home with your love of crafts...bless you and your hubby
Your hubby is amazing So are you A friend of mine had a pool table her hubby made her a top for it When they had family gatherings they put the top on with a king size sheet as a tablecloth xo

Sandie, yes he was in bed and got up to check the weather. He was at the front door when it hit. He said he fell to the floor immediately. I was a fast small moving tornado. He said it said it sounded like a big boom when it hit the house and lifted the roof.

We have put plywood over our pool table and use it. Comes in handy when you need it for sure!
