    THANK YOU!!! For over a year I've been trying to tell anyone who'll listen that if the conversation emphasizes the political ramifications, they forget that all this wonderful geopolitical chatter overlooks the impact on THE PEOPLE! It frustrates the hell out of me when I listen to talking heads seemingly unaware of the torture, murder, rape, looting, destruction, terrorism, and child abductions perpetuated by the occupiers on the ethnic Ukrainians unfortunate enough to be under Russian rule. Slava Ukraini!

    Although my father was too young to fight in WW2, and my grandfather was too old, yet our family was profoundly affected by WW2.
    My father was born in Oslo, Norway, in 1930, and so he was a young teen during the Nazi occupation of his country. However, he never spoke much about his experiences of that time, as I was growing up. But in my early teens, I had the opportunity to travel with him to Norway, and the rest of Europe, for about six weeks.
    The first three weeks, we spent in Norway, in and near Oslo visiting with his family and close friends.
    During that time, he spoke to me about things he had never shared before...
    I REMEMBER...
    ... the moment he pointed toward a street intersection, and said, "I saw an SS officer shoot a man in the street up there."
    I REMEMBER...
    ... the moment, stopping, after crossing a footbridge in an Oslo park, and my father telling me, "I was running to get home after curfew, when a German soldier stopped me here at gunpoint... suddenly an old man with a cane stepped out of the darkness, pulled a sword from his cane, and disarmed the soldier, and I ran home."

Because I found the interview rather frustrating as her answers were always kind of brisk and skimming the surface as the response. We've had similar wars in the past and the questions I felt were to the point and the response wasn't really drilling down into the knowledge that really should be out there by now for the amount of time this war has been going on for.

      It should depend on how and when those people arrived in Ukraine. It would have been a war crime if they voluntarily moved to Ukraine at the time of the Russian invasion or later so any return to Russia should be delayed until they have been tried and, if guilty, punished.

    • @micindir4213
      @micindir4213 Před 29 dny

      Some ppl do send stuff. Unfortunately if patrol asks for a phone and finds stuff you're facing "podval time" - basement torture room. It's a common knowledge to wipe your phone clean before going out in the street, though wiped phone is considered suspicious enough to warrant you some "podval time".

The English never committed systematic [unwanted intimate congress]. We can go back a bit further and look at the mountains of skulls. Genghis Kahn. What is the origin of the moscovite culture?
