Walker's expression was that of sadness when he saw the atrocity that he committed. But him being a captain of elite squad he had to assert himself to Lugo and Adams because they were arguing and getting out of control.
I know walker wsnted to be a hero and never & I mean NEVER, wanted to kill civilians, but because of his ego of wanting to be a hero, and not see another solution, he decided to permanently he views his self for this...
This might be one of my favorites of the soundtrack. It just feels so uncomfortable, the way it plays just conveys the sense that something is horribly wrong but you don't know what, until you stumble on the charred bodies of the 47 civilians you just murdered.
I don't agree with the idea that the gameplay being boring was intentional but I think that there is nevertheless much to admire about the design of the gameplay. Even if it comes off as repetitive it's very deliberately made and there's a lot of care taken to ensure that it fits with the game's themes and tone; Walker's appearance slowly growing more twisted and charred, the game having a very high corpse limit, the screams of agony of your enemies (and Walker's comparative silence) the character of the glory kills and Walker's communication with his teammates going from efficient and mechanical to hateful and disturbed.

Yeah let's just say after commiting this MASS MURDER I was having nightmares,sleepless nights and severe guilt burden and yeah I did one playthrough and the overwhelming feelings of regret,loneliness and guilt was too much for my kid heart to bear
