iOS 18 Beta 3 is the most stable build yet.. at least for me. What about you?

I think my battery life is good for me. I’ve been getting like 8-9 hrs per day on a used iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Well my phone has started freezing up at seemingly random times. And when trying to turn it off with the button it just dimms the screen extremely end then behaves normally again
Note/correction: Rad stands for Radian, not radius (in the calculator). My mistake 🤣

Beta 3 has been very good for me. Its stable and performance and battery has also been good.
Same, battery life is almost normal but there are more bugs than beta 2.

This update broke the tint feature for me, I had it just fine but now when I wanna change it, like 2 seconds later it changes the color to a very dark version of the color I chose
4:20 The option for showing those audio output options for Siri is now in Settings > Developer at the bottom, suggesting that it's probably meant for developers for some reason.
Can turn WiFi and Bluetooth from the control center now or you have to go to the settings menu like in iOS 17?
My beta 3 keeps resetting my control center for some reason, should I reboot my phone?

In connectivity Control Center you have arrows that allow you to tap on once instead of long pressing to access more options

i would love to see if they were able to resolve keyboard annoying bug where it randomly become noisy after typing. Like why the typing sound become so loud
The customize bug wasn't just for black backgrounds. I had it happen to me with a full color photo background.

I’m not allowed to open my webpages without first allowing the website first. It wasn’t like this before I updated to ios18
beta 3 has tons of crashes for me, screen distance is stuck on when in settings it says its off, emoji keyboard doesnt work often, quite a bit of lag, and some other things. is this only me? im on a 13 pro
The app library was glitched for me. Idk if they fixed it, but with beta 1 you couldn’t launch an app from the App Library. It would only work from the Home Screen. I ended up going back to iOS 17, because I didn’t want to have put every app I wanted to use on my home screen

Can someone clarify something for me please. I was told using a VPN on an iPhone/smartphone is useless since the phones GPS overrides the VPN making it useless.

am I the only one missing notifications on beta 3? i get the ping on the app but no notification
My battery life has been so bad ive notice when i use carplay it goes from 90% to 50% in less than an hour.
I’ve had a lot more smaller bugs and instability on beta 3. Emojis sending as stickers, visual artifacts, app icon customization glitching and not changing properly.
I have the 14plus and it doesn’t show me that just says Siri. I feel like it’s mainly the 15 iPhones are getting this big updates.

Anyone getting an issue when taking photos? Currently when taking a photo and immediately opening the last photo in the camera app it throws an error and it fails to render?

The auto option for light and dark app icons has been broken, hopefully the beta 3.5/public beta will fix it
its funny little thing, but for a year or so,
i have removed all my apps from the the home screen and just keep them in the library.
so the screen is empty and not distracting me.

battery gets better after beta
I think the plastic AW could be interesting but it all depends on the features. If it has the features as a typical Series 8 / Series 9, it might be worth it especially for folks who maybe can't afford the more expensive ones, and don't feel safe with getting them second hand?
I still miss the background blur in the widget page and in the App Library + folders from there.
Beta 3 has broken apple CarPlay with maps and my phone is overheating and not charging while connected and running apple CarPlay I am having those issues on my iPhone 15 Pro Max

Scrolling lag and icon customization bug so far for me.
If they ever release a round apple watch, then I'll get one. I just hate the square look of them now.
Beta 3 has been pretty good for me! Only real issues has been some 3rd party apps that are set to dark mode, will toggle to light mode when changing to large icons. Also the Apple Store app instantly crashes when trying to open it.
What I notice on the App Store is that it save your recent searches if you try to look for an app
I would love a cheap Apple Watch for one reason: Fall Detection. I have a couple people in mind including my dad who, if I could get them to wear it all the time, I’d have a lot more peace of mind.
