Looks like MBC trying many different studio style, from Japanese style, US style, and current one is European with South Koreans touch, and yeah they even build mini studio outside for special purposes. My biggest question is, is MBC considered as Commercial Television or Public Television?
The same goes to TVP in Poland. It's public, but partially founded from adverts. There's no ad-less public TV broadcasters. But, if they will buy Polsat, so, Polsat will be public ad broadcaster, while TVP will be commercial-free one.
I agree with those saying it's the Channel 4 of Korea in terms of funding and governance. In theory, there's a difference because Channel 4 originally had a mandate to broadcast minority viewpoints, but in reality that has long been abandoned and it is now a mainstream liberal (in the European sense) broadcaster.

Almost all (if not every one) of MBC’s News Intro music and studio design are iconic in their own ways. Any discontinued version is actually a loss

MBC is government-owned but commercially-funded. Similar to TV 2 in Denmark and Channel 4 in the UK.

After South Korea introduced color in 1980, South Korea's TV quality improved drastically, even within 3 years.
Legendary sound 1991-1998, 2001-04.08.2014, 2017-.
That 2015 special intro was used for 70th anniversary of independence of South Korea, not the MBC.
The intro was newly changed on June 26th 2023.
