I had the worst way to beat this mission, it took me 3 hours and I went with like 50 dark templar and some corsairs to disable the spore colonies, and took out ALL the zerg before taking Zeratul and Artanis to the warp gate
I just did this mission today, it took more that 3 hours, I mined all minerals and depleted all vespene geysers, destroyed all zergs, mind controlled a drone and filled the map with overlords to ensure there are no hidden zerglings or lurkers (and also because I had nothing to do during the final countdown).
beat it in 4 lol. loaded up with corsairs and arbiters and kept their invasion at bay by just patrolling the perimeters lol. when they managed to break through the cannons and zealots i spammed everywhere took care of the rest
Thanks for doing all these speedruns and walkthroughs on Re-mastered! It's great to see them played fast as well as being able to re-live the story :) The only downside is having to wait for each mission to be uploaded ;)
The noob strat of MCing a drone and going up to a 400 supply mixed army genocide march across the map is still more fun. A couple hundred supply worth of Guardians backed up by a fleet of Corsairs can sweep across the horseshoe around the Temple pretty effectively.
You are a consumate master of war good sir. This has been such a joy to watch. Do you have any plans of tackling the original Starcraft as well? Keep fighting the good fight sire. Entaro Tassadar!
omg i played this mission more than 10 times in order to beat it, i didnt know its the last protoss mission, i tried your strategy, i tried with a team of flying spaceships(dont know their name, which build 8 drones) to destroy all the zerg bases, but managed to destroy only the red ones, because the orange and the brown have flying bats that eat my spaceships, at the end i just built a base around the temple, closed the 4 entrances with turrents and built these mages with the lighting magic + a few spaceships that were left, the zerg destroyed my other 2 bases meawhile i couldnt protect them and i barely won, at the last 30 seconds there were 10 zergs left attacking my temple while my mages had no mana and the temple had 4000hp but it survived.....i shit myself during the end, the old games are much harder to beat than the new ones, they require a lot more skills

Took me 3 hours to figure out just to mass attrition the crap out of Carriers on HOLD POSITION at long range vs Zerg spore colonies/armies because apparently targetting things on purpose wastes attacks and gets my units killed .... After killing the whole map with Carriers ,, took me 20 minutes to find my Zeratul. Was the emptiest countdown of my life. God i'm awful 😂
14:49 the poor units moving out all the way from the bases are like: WAIT FOR MEEEEEE

I did this today but I used Surprizingly only 22 Cariers and 2 Arbiters.

4 hours, İ build zerg lurker 200 limit, and carrier

im trying to beat the game since a week ago and im stuck with this level thx dude

Failed at 0.01 seconds the first run. Took a screenshot as it was pretty funny. Loaded the save and used more canons and that was it.
