Forcing the enemies to go through a narrow path is the most tower defense tactic i've ever seen. Massive respect 🔥
It rarely happens to me but I'm pretty much speechless... The maze, the timings on removing banelings without missing a beat etc. etc. Like damn, whole run is both neat in terms of execution and clearly the preparations took some solid considerations like finding extra space to put production out.

Who knew the secret to blowing up 4.073 billion zerg was building 4.073 billion shield batteries and treating dark templars like an antacid? Helluva job.
Also, petition to see you do this from the archives with full tech and see how much farther you get
Isn't even 4billion zerg still a pretty tiny number for intergalactic super numerous species? Like less than a half of human living currently on earth, so a futuristic setting with so numerus race it's basically not even 1 planet worth...

If there was any logic in it other than giving us a cool tower defense like mission with the highest number challenge, I'd guess that it's not all the Zerg in the galaxy but rather what Amon possesses. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Kerrigan take over majority of the Zerg by that time? If that's the case Amon's Zerg may be more limited than an intergalactic super numerous species as you said. After all they have so much larva economy to produce at the same time :P
@@besNait My headcannon is it is the number of hybrids. Zerglings are too small to count, as are most of the rest of the normal zerg.
@@besNaitAmon doesn't have control of that many Zerg thanks to kerrigan. This is why it was so important that kerrigan survived. Without her he'd have access to the entire swarm across the sector. But she is a competing hive mind and thus he only has access to the ferals he was able to acquire. Which is likely just the ones on auir. While infested, since auir Zerg have been feral for 4 years their numbers are natural rather than a garrison of forces. Amon likely only got control of them when he revived after kerrigan was defeated on char.
Holy moly, watching that simcity warp in piece by piece… one of the most satisfying things I've watched all year ;)

I've seen couple of Korean players reaching past 4.4 and *over freaking 8 billion* but all kept Shakuras missions for the last.
I wonder how far you can go with robo units and extra Spear panel available.

Fantastic showing! My biggest take is how Dark Templar are effectively ranged spellcasters, with their Shadow Fury. Never did I think they'd trade so effectively well, especially vs. Banelings.
This is amazing! I managed 2.5 on easy, with full upgrades, and struggled hard. This is insane planning and dedication. Good job man.

Edit: You know, I knew about the top panel timer bug, I never expected you to use it at the last moment to decrease your timer for just a bit. Just when I thought that this speedrun wouldn't be so different from others.

There are so many little techniques going on all at once that just blows my mind. The little hit squad of DTs trimming down waves, the constant Shadow Furies on the Baneling waves as they start to approach the Nexuses. The level of skill is mind boggling.

Can't you show your ctrl groups? I'm curious how you use them.
This is cool. Back when i played the game alot, the most i was able to get was around 1.7. I used cannons and big towers. backed up with shield batteries and dt's. My biggest issue is i freeze up when all heck breaks loose. I dont think its add but sure is something. hard for me to focus with too many things going on at once.

I don't think there's an official record. Also depends a lot on how early you go to Shakuras, and there used to be helpful glitches that have been patched out.

The maximum is 53 Billion after 9 hours and 6 minutes, when the mission crashes because the timer variable overflows.
Took me 17 minutes to realize he wasn't building fleet beacons all over as damage sponges.
