This is the longplay of the game Super Mario World Redone, a Super Mario World hack game. This version was developed by Dark Prince, with the aim of making slight graphical improvements, both in the characters and in the scenarios.
This game is almost the same as the original Super Mario World, with only graphical differences and bosses that need to take more damage to be defeated, as well as some slightly different phases and the impossibility of going with Yoshi in a few stages (including the scene with a "No Yoshi" sign, which was cut in the final version of the original SMW, but was included here, although I had to skip these scenes to avoid a bug that makes Yoshi "walk through the floor"). Without a doubt, a good job. The video was made by obtaining all exits, all Dragon Coins* and all 3-Up Moons.

*Note: some Dragon Coins need to be left behind, to allow the player to collect more of them, this occurs both in the original game and in this hack. - Hry

Since played Super Mario World Deluxe Remix it was actually another hack with different music, Objects and backgrounds
But now i will play this one!
the "chocolate lava" in Chocolate Fortress and Chocolate Island 4 doesn't look as "chocolatey" now. It looks like boiling licorice.

I agree, it definitely has that All-Stars feel to it. I can even hear a few sound effects from the All-Stars version.

Esta hack ficou do caralho, zerei toda tbm, 97 saídas, n sei se as Yoshi coins valem como vc diz na descrição, mas a boa parte dos elementos de gameplay do GBA estão presentes, parece até algo vindo do SNES mesmo, ótimo vídeo ^^

Without having watched more than the very intro, I must say I really like the concept behind this game/hack/not sure yet, it's not claiming to be an improvement or a worse version, it's the original SMW redone and that's exactly what it looks like

The improved parallax on some of the backgrounds looks really good and it makes the levels backgrounds less flat, and also adding more level music is a great addition.
Didn't fix Bowser's coloring tho...
I think the better shading must look dope on a crt

I think this is pretty nice, but i would like to see a mix of this and that early artstyle that had very detailed shading

Ooohh wow! Again a great improvement on this game! More vibrant colors, better thought out backgrounds. Doesn't look as half-hearted as the original game. Not a fan with some of the graphic changes like the fireballs that Yoshi breathes. But colors... wow.

Yes, but only with Sd2Snes. Cheap Everdrives or the DSP (mid-range model) will not work with this game.

Who’s the elderly Yoshi?
Elderly Yoshi is present in the beta version of Super Mario World and would be an NPC, with the same function used in this hack. In the official Super Mario World, however, old Yoshi was cut from the final version of the game. But several sprites from the SMW betas remained in the game's memory, meaning they can be used in hacks of this game.

I decided to get the Yellow Switch Palace after completing the first world, as I would need to return to Yoshi's Island 1 with the Cape Feather to get the 3-Up Moon from that level and only after that I went to access the Yellow Palace.

Que mierda es esto? Si es el Super Mario World con los colores cambiados, punto no es nada más. No me jodas que redone ni que estupidez, es que manda cojones. Eso ni es pixel a 4K con otra paleta de color, no hay más gente.

The SNES was a fundamentally different experience in 1996, compared to 1990. This is what the game would have been like if it came out at the end of the life cycle when devs knew everything the hardware could do.
