So who is Spartan-85? I'll start in the beginning. My earliest memories of playing video games was going with my grandma and my uncle (who had down syndrome) to the grocery store. In the back, they had a small arcade where my uncle and I would play games while my grandma shopped. We had so much fun playing games like Double Dragon,, Final Fight, Streets of Rage, Mortal Kombat, Donkey Kong, Mario, Galaga and so many others!
I got my very first console ever in the early 90's, the Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES. I remember having to blow the dust out of the cartridges because I played them so much. My brother and I would play super mario brothers and dunk hunt for hours.
Fast forward through the ages, I have owned almost every console there is, the NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S and the Nintendo Switch. Gaming to me is a way to forget the world and to hang out with my friends. Some of my fondest memories were playing online in Halo 2, where we had clans, huge clan wars, and just had an amazing time.
I really got started watching youtube videos of creators playing video games while working midnights as a police officer. It kept me awake and passed the time between calls and reports. My first big inspirations that planted the idea of starting my own channel were, Markiplier, Lord Minion777, Unspeakable, Ninja and Glock9. I really enjoyed Markiplier's style and how he played a very wide variety of games. I enjoyed Lord Minions multiplayer series and comedy.
The two biggest inspirations that got me hooked into 7 Days to DIe and wanting to start my own channel playing 7 Days to DIe were Neebs Gaming and Glock9. The actual game, 7 Days to Die is what I decided I wanted to focus on because I felt it was a mix of two of my all time favorite games, Fallout and Minecraft. I literally one day googled games similar to Fallout and Minecraft and 7 Days to Die came up. I started buying equipment on Ebay and Amazon and the rest is history!!
Things that I try to stay true about are always stay humble, treat everyone with respect, know where you started and how hard you have worked to get here, set an example, help others when they need it, be a blessing to others, and when you don't know what to do or what will happen, Smile!
I would like to see the channel morph into a wide variety gaming channel eventually, but 7 Days to Die still holds my heart. I still love making tutorials, and especially 7 Days to Die tutorials The next big game on my radar that I am super excited about is probably Starfied.

@@Z1R1N-oj9cp you have to manually search it then press the button with the 3 lines to “show full results”. It shows as a game preview next to the legacy version!

There would be a massive uproar if it's delayed. Just think how many years and patience people have waited just to add it to the wish list and get that hype pumping just to rip it away and delay it. Ugh, hope not

I can't wait, I've bought this on PC, PlayStation twice, and Xbox probably 5 times now for myself and friends. Discount or not, can't wait. . . With that said I'm not looking forward to alot of the changes mostly trader and questing missions. Takes away alot of the sandbox freedom and really restricts progression. Alot of players argue it doesn't but first bike, mini bike, water, 90% or your ammo . . . Yeah, it pretty much does. I liked the minecraft explore, forage, de forest, water jars and repeat while slowly expanding for more and more. Not raid the same house 4 times in a row or else you won't have weapons or a bike by day 7.
On the steam page there is a link that lead to the 7 days i guess forum type deal but any way it says legacy owners will get like 25-40% or something like that off

I play on PC, and will probably buy the PS5 version as well, but goddamn, TFP totally f***ed up the controller layout and how it works for 1.0. It's awful. In the menu, there's no free roaming cursor anymore. You have to move the cursor through each box individually. For some reason, you have to hold Y, or what would be triangle on a PS controller, to bring up the D-pad options of "Craft", "Scrap", "Use" etc. To bring up the menu it used to be X, and reloading was B, but they swapped those for some reason. Also, while on a vehicle, they switched turbo from clicking in on the left stick, to RB. Everyone on the forums hates the changes, and I've seen a couple comments say it looks like TFP are maybe working to change it, but this is just another example of them wasting time on shit that was never broken. Same goes for the armor system. All they needed to do with the armor was give it a bit of re-design and update. If they wanted to give the outfits these buffs, just make more mods that can go into the clothes or armor. Can't stand taking things away that give people less options.

Yes it’s only for next gen, you’ll have to upgrade. It’s not just an update it’s an entirely new game which would most likely run extremely poorly on last gen consoles.

Man, I really hope this hits gamepass. I have bought it on PC, and PlayStation and Xbox, and primary console game now. It sucks that we can't just upgrade.

I hope the multiplayer is better than what it is now on the PS4… It’s a little bit better on the PS5, but I just had a play through with four people in my lobby, the whole play through last at one and a half hours before it blue screened …and laggy as heck for me the host

The playstation store says playstation plus required for online play but it also says online play optional.
Going by that I'd say you can play solo offline but I'm not 100% sure yet

I saw on your day 4 video of 1.0 this morning that someone left a comment that the reason that it’s not on Xbox store yet is because the performance . On the series S it is kinda poor and almost has to have the same graphics as the ps4/xbox one legacy edition for it to run, but obviously not that low quality. So if that is the case, I feel like that maybe I should have bought the series X instead of the series S back in November of 21. But if you look at pc, there’s a lot of setting you can manipulate to run the game such as: texture, render distance, shadows, lighting, water texture, gore and more. I had to turn some of them down a little bit for it to run on my pc earlier this year when I used gamepass.

I bought the game on xbox pc and read that steam and Microsoft games will have 1.0 beta from Monday 24th but I still can't find a way to play 1.0 on xbox pc

Ive had 7 Days on Disk for 5 years probably now but it wasnt even finished,it was a rip off we should get a free update,shouldnt be any cost for us,the game case mentions nothing about it not being a finished game.
I wont be buying any update or new version not after they released it on disk unfinished with no warning on the case.
I’m a long time console player and have the PC version of 1.0, but I’ll be buying the updated console version as well.
