    One thing that goes against the Deacon Lone Wanderer theory is aliens. With Deacon as your companion, if you encounter the alien ship crashing he makes a comment saying something like how it seems Tinker Tom was right, implying Deacon didn't believe in aliens. However the Lone Wanderer obviously does believe given the whole Mothership Zeta DLC being a thing.

      pretty sure the mothership zeta dlc isn't Canon but if it is this makes a good point, there was a mod I had downloaded a while back that used some unused dialog plus a couple mods that bring other fallout game items into 4. One line I vaguely remember is Deacon as my campion seeing a set of Enclave armor and saying he hadn't seen that since he was in the capital wasteland. I may be wrong but that may mean he had a hand in project purity, so maybe not the lone wanderer but he was probably there during fallout 3.

      Not true...They ruined the franchise,because they took something that was intentionally more loose,and edgy,and tried to make it more rigid,and more widely accepted.Then,on top of that,they did a terrible job implementing everything,and caused so many bugs,and issues,that it's all the games are best known for now.Had they jist don't what had already been working for that specific franchise,it would have been greatly accepted by those who already enjoyed the franchise,but will have likely cut out a large number of newer players.

    While I don't necessarily believe Dogmeat is a synth, I do love the theory! It's interesting to note that the Classical station is playing on a radio in the garage of the Red Rocket where you first meet Dogmeat, which you later learn is operated by the Institute to teleport synths into and out of the Commonwealth. So I know it’s been addressed in the previous video where the sole survivor is discussed being a synth and I have a counter theory to that. It’s explained that the vault had critical failure which caused the other occupants to suffocate and die. What if the SS pod had started critical failure but the SS lucked out. They’re coughing when they first wake suggesting a possible lack of o2 prior to release from cryo pod. What if due to trauma and lack of o2 that’s why the SS can’t remember anything super well past the day of the bombs. Memory repression mixed with a bit of brain damage due to lack of o2? If you play as male character it’s why the SS can’t remember his military days but still has the muscle memory of a hardened vet. That’s my head canon at least

    I always wondered what If the Vault Dweller of vault 13 might have been infected with FEV himself. Afterall, he eventually left Arroyo only leaving behind his pip-boy 2000 and vault suit. Maybe he started to feel a change and didn't want his tribe to see what he's becoming. It's suspected that he died of age, but it hasn't been confirmed. There is no grave location, corpse found, or mark in the timeline to say when he died.

      @unoriginalperson72 Před rokem +2

      No I'm pretty sure the vault dwellers died at the village from old age, his daughter who is the elder in 2 is really old so I can imagine he lived for very long before dying with his tribe. Besides why would the vault dweller ever want to leave the tribe?

    Couple things:
    - We need a furry Deathclaw in the next Fallout game.
    - Does Deacon have any unique dialogue for the Brotherhood of Steel or Liberty Prime? (They crossed paths with Lone Wanderer)
    - Have we ever considered that the Mysterious Stranger is a reference to the Phantom Stranger from DC Comics?
    - Speaking of DC characters, did N_orte turn his Lone Survivor into Wesley Dodds?

    About the White Gloves: Is there a connection between them and the Gourmands raider group that was active in Appalachia shortly after the war, but then got wiped out by the Scorched plague like the other factions? The White Gloves' restaurant in the Ultra-Luxe shares its name with the raider tribe, after all, so maybe some Gourmands survivors or their descendants made it west to the Mojave in the near 200 years between the Gourmands' demise and the happenings of Fallout New Vegas.

    I just had an insanely unhinged Fallout and Portal/Half-Life theory. You know how in Portal 2, the Workshop levels take place in a multiverse according to the Cave Johnson lines? What if one of those universes was the Fallout universe and Aperture and Black Mesa existed in the Fallout universe? Both locations founded before Fallout's timeline shifted from real world history, meaning their technology may have progressed differently to the point they never caused a resonance cascade. Michigan and New Mexico are also unexplored in the Fallout games, and both facilities are secretive. Perhaps some of the mutant creatures aren't the result of FEV, but are in fact alien creatures from Xen? Perhaps the Nirn Root plant you find as an easter egg was transported from TES to Fallout through some sort of inter-dimensional rift. Inter-dimensional travel was also something both Aperture and Black Mesa were heavily invested in.
