“It’s like desperate 60’s housewive on too much Valium, two whiskies in, bit smudgy makeup...” 😂 Alexa has always the best analogies!!! It was so interesting to see all the creative process behind the look. I loved her take on this year’s theme. And Bella has the most soothing voice, such a calming presence and so talented.

I get her camp look. To her, that look is much too fancy and extra. I love it! It's very personalized and not like the others!

She has lots of lines around her mouth when she smiles. Looks like a 35 year old to me. 35 year olds aren't some ancient crypt keepers, you know.

why is everyone in the comments being like "not camp at all" just watch the video she explains her point of view, the dress was not extravagant or exciting enough for what we love to see on the MET but it's so true to her and so beautiful so more power to her
Having an explanation doesn't mean she's right though... It's refined camp. Which isn't camp. If she wanted to flip the script she could have played the ultimate straight man.. but the MET is about drama and fashion as an event. Camp is to be crazy (not exactly but you know what I mean). I love her outfit but it I think it missed the mark for the theme.

The only people who were nervous was the poor woman who design the outfit. The look of worry and nerves that show on her face tells everything.
Bella you have a creative mind. Get out of this place and go somewhere where you don't have to pump up this fragile creature s EGO 24/7. You can and will do alooot better than working for her. In the long run she will drain you of everything you have. Get out while you can.

I love the whole look its absolutely beautiful but i also think it maybe could have been a bit more out there? I feel like you could get away with this dress on other red carpets as well, which probably indicates that its not extra enough for the met😄 that might just be me though

I think that was the point, she said camp is about being extra but also not in fashion/according to. So technically talking, not going all out is the most camp if everyone else is.

Of course it's camp (beret, bag, shoes and dress matching is an exageration ) but at the same is refined an beautiful, the result is actually genius because going for an obvious camp is the esay thing, this is a really refined joke and oximoron look.

@@MS-he3wz it's so obvious that you haven't seen much of him and had just a glance at him, I mean neither of us and no one in general really knows him and these are just opinions shaped through the screen but he really isn't, yes he tries for his music but his personality is not like that , sometimes his management can get a bit like that but that happens really rarely

@@natalyaporter5730 if she's suppose to be the opposite then that's not camp at all. camp is suppose to be out there and crazy (i dont know the right word but you know what i mean) but i do get why she dressed that way because this is her interpretation of camp, but for like the theme "camp" its a bit bland.
