  • How I Paint Landscape Just By 4 Colors Oil Painting Landscape Step By Step 52 By Yasser Fayad
    Apparently, we only use the three primary colors (blue, yellow, and red) in addition to white, which is a neutral color, but we give them four colors metaphorically so that the novice trainees can understand the matter.
    But in fact, you can create an infinite number of colors by mixing these three colors together and obtaining beautiful oil paintings
    Primary colors are the basic colors that cannot be created by mixing other colors. In art, the primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. These colors are important in oil painting because they can be mixed to create all other colors on the color wheel.
    Oil paints are a popular medium for artists because they offer a wide range of colors, are easy to blend, and have a long drying time, which allows for more flexibility in the painting process. When it comes to oil paints, there are many brands and types of paint available, each with their own unique characteristics.
    White and black are important colors in oil painting, as they are used to adjust the value and tone of other colors. White oil paint is often used to create tints, which are lighter versions of a color. For example, mixing white with blue will create a lighter blue color. White can also be used to lighten other colors without significantly changing their hue.
    Black oil paint, on the other hand, is often used to create shades, which are darker versions of a color. For example, mixing black with blue will create a darker blue color. Black can also be used to darken other colors without significantly changing their hue.
    It's important to note that not all white and black oil paints are created equal. There are many different types of white and black pigments, each with their own unique properties. For example, titanium white is a popular white pigment that is very opaque and has a high tinting strength, while zinc white is a more transparent white pigment that is often used in glazes. Similarly, ivory black is a popular black pigment that is very opaque and has a high tinting strength, while lamp black is a more transparent black pigment that is often used in underpainting.
    When selecting white and black oil colors, it's important to consider the pigment properties and choose colors that are compatible with the other colors you are using. It's also a good idea to experiment with different types of white and black pigments to find the ones that work best for your particular painting style and techniques.
    It's worth noting that some artists prefer not to use black paint in their oil paintings and instead create shades by mixing complementary colors together. Complementary colors are colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel, such as red and green, blue and orange, or yellow and purple. Mixing these colors together can create a darker hue without the use of black paint.
    In addition to white and black, oil paints also come in a range of other colors, including earth tones, greens, blues, reds, and yellows, among others. Many artists also mix their own colors to create custom shades and hues.

    👋...Coffee has been successfully added. The body is now ready to start...
    Good evening, dear Yasser, thank you for this beautiful painting. Hope you're doing well.
    Like the Starship Enterprise, on Sundays we repeatedly find ourselves in places that no man has ever seen before. Well, except for three, but we'll get to that later. Since the morning hour is known to have gold in the mouth, as we say, today we once again set out early to find ourselves some time later in a landscape that was previously unknown to us.
    A dense fog still hangs over the vast forest area, the birds still sleep at their resting places in the high treetops, protected from predators, their little heads tucked under their plumped-up wings. Whether they also dream, I do not know, but a calm mind is a gentle resting pillow and so they will probably sleep relatively dreamlessly until the rays of the rising sun reach them and softly kiss them awake. Be that as it may, the fog is still so thick that we can only see a hundred meters into the distance and have trouble telling if there are any conifers in this area besides the richly leafy deciduous trees. However, large old foliage trees come in all types and shapes, so only a botanist would be able to identify them. I am standing on a low rise, at my feet, singing a softly rippling little song, a brook is moving across to the forest, which ahead, unseen by me, continues its way somewhere into the depths of the woods and is probably responsible for the dense and cool morning fog that is still giving me chills. The small stream runs ahead under a bridge, probably the only way to cross it without a boat or a barge, because the water in its bed seems to be reasonably high, at least in the middle. So it is also possible that under the surface, which is still in darkness, there are a number of fish, perhaps trout, but possibly also species that are still unknown or prehistoric animals such as coelacanths hiding here. But I think that a trout has just jumped, which has quickly hid in the shadows under the brick-built bridge again, even though there is no angler lurking for prey right now. To the right, the course of the bridge loses itself in dense bushes whose soft, almost pastel-like colors such as green, yellow and pink, make the heart soar. A little closer to where I am, there are some larger boulders on the embankment that must have been there for a long time, surrounded by grass and partly overgrown. The stone bridge, which looks relatively new or has been cleverly repaired, leads across to the left side of the terrain and probably ends near the shrubbery in front of the house that was built there. To take a closer look, I now climb up the stony bank on the right until I reach the bridge, cross it and move along the house wall to the front of the building. (--> part 2)

    • @coramuller6065
      @coramuller6065 Před rokem +2

      Part 2: Here I find my assumption confirmed and can now also discover two windows, which were let into the yellowish painted outer wall. The left of them was opened for ventilation and lies in the cool blue shade of the still young morning. Moving to the right around the corner of the house, I now also see the entrance door on one of the gable ends of the building, which from here looks to me more like a cottage. There seems to be no upper living floor, rather perhaps an attic to store useless things or at the moment not for living necessary paraphernalia. Atop the shimmering bluish-gray roof, possibly made of corrugated metal, a shimmering rosy chimney rises proudly, emitting no smoke despite the still-cool morning. I now turn my gaze to the forest, by which the cottage is surrounded except for a large square completely freed from the peripheral greenery. The tall deciduous trees are very dense, some with bushy cushions at their feet, some of them, less leafy and growing at the margins, stretching high up to the sky as if in an attempt to touch it. In the undergrowth further in, dry branches that have fallen at some point crackle under the quick steps of a startled animal that hurries away, surely in search of a safe hiding place. Moving a bit towards the water again, I take a look at the wonderful lush green, pink-orange flowering bushes in front of the house, which have already reached a decent height due to the proximity of the life-giving body of water. From here, too, I can now admire a magnificent pink-purple tree that has never been seen before, certainly reaching nearly fifteen meters in height, and whose wide crown, which to the left side is already sunlit, almost completely encloses the house from the back. Its vibrant color delights the soul beyond measure, and its beguiling fragrance spreads far and wide across the landscape. My gaze tears away reluctantly and rests for a moment on some massive boulders that lie on this bank of the creek. They may have been transported here or are in their natural habitat and emerged from underground at some point. Lost in my reflections and meditations, pensively glancing at the steps hewn or dug out of the soft ground that lead up to the house, I suddenly hear soft footsteps and see a small female figure coming up from the stream, carrying a laundry basket under her left arm. She is wrapped in bluish clothing, wears a lighter blue or white apron over it and a white headscarf on her hair. I assume she is the lady of the house who has to do her laundry, due to the lack of water connection in the house, down by the creek. But since I don't ask her about it and just wish her good day out of politeness, this mystery will remain unsolved. While she slowly walks up the path to the house, I withdraw to my observation post and then start my way back home. - A gorgeous painting, dear Yasser ! We see wonderful contrasts between light and dark areas, detailed and so beautifully rendered trees, the lovingly painted house and bridge and boulders, and the atmospherically overcast depth of the background that gives the image its three-dimensional effect. As always, it shows who is a master of his craft. May God bless and protect you. ❤
