This is the exact video my dad showed me when I was 5 years old. Still love AC/DC till this very day and will for the rest of my life. Thank you dad for showing me real music and leading me to more bands!
@snipe69 Kinda the same story for me. This is the first music video for AC-DC that I saw and the first music video for this song and this will always be the official video for me
I joined the Air Force as an Ammo troop right after I turned 19. Exactly a year to the day I joined the twin towers were hit and we were deployed. Building bombs and loading bombers flying sorties over Afghanistan. A few months later our Squadron Commander called us into his office and showed us this video. Pumped all of us up before heading back to assemble more JDAMS. My AEF ended up building and dropping more net explosive weight than all the bombing campaigns of Vietnam. Good times.
@@loreleigoldman2460 The only BS is your comment. I assure you he did! But, I really don’t care what you think. I’m a grown man and have no reason to lie. Believe what you want LOL.
Thank you for sharing this and THANK YOU for helping to save this country for Democracy. YOU are the reason why we are The Home Of The Free! God bless you and yours and everything you do.
I'am an ex-paratrooper and this is an awesome tribute to many helicopters that once were a sight for sore eyes and struck total fear into insurgent's hearts...love ac/dc
This is one bad ass song by AC/DC and then bad ass men in our military are rocking as always. Proud of all branches of the service in the U.S.A. God bless you all.
Its been 20 years since I last flew in the Army. The music nails the experience. It was a riot. Best years of my life. Using sensors and skills with your crew to find the bad guys then fucking up his day.
I envy your experience in this air craft. I would have loved to seen the look in our enemies eyes when they saw you coming in this. The look in theirs eyes, the fear in their hearts, the thoughts going through their minds make me wonder why any country challenges the USA.
My first duty station was Katterbach Army Airfield. Got there in January of 1992 - right after the Gulf War. 3/5 Platoon, HSC Co 2- 1 Aviation, Attack Helicopter Battalion. That was 33 years ago next month. I was 18. It was the best years of my life !!!
Ten years later and it's still the best video I've ever seen. I hope NASA puts it on the golden record for the next Voyager probe - that'll show them aliens who is boss this side of the galaxy.
I wonder if a pilot ever said, after successfully engaging a target, ‘congratulations - you’ve been thunderstruck.’ That would be awesome. And entirely warranted.
I loved the 101st Aviation Brigade. Took us many places and picked us to take us home after we were done. Now, granted, "Show No Mercy" missed a lot... lol. Still love 'em though!
Thanks for posting! You will notice in the lower right corner that this was brought to you by the "Brown and Gold" Rising Eagle affectionately known as the Squashed Bug! The only corps in the US Army which had the best damn members in the US Army. The Warrant Officer Corps! Disbanded because of some Blue Falcon's research thesis in 2004 with promises made numerous times over the lifetime of the corps. The unpopular decision placed the Warranted Commissioned Officer of the US Army in the branches. What a shame, but as the Technical and Tactical experts we were and will always be this good. It was fun and real Warrants still have the Rising Eagle somewhere on them! Cheers to those who wore it, and HUSSAH to those of my aviation brothers who still beat the air into submission!
Thanks for the memories 2nd week of May 68, after living thru the Feb 68 assaults my luck ran out southwest of Saigon in a company vs battalion firefight. the fire was so intense they declared our section as a no fly so no gunship or helo support. As it was turning twilight one of our gunships came roaring in landing a few hundred feet away, I don't know if he defied orders not to approach or he decided screw it i'm going in. My platoon wrapped me in a poncho and carried myself, one other wounded and my platoon Sgt kia. Being a gunship there no amenities on the Huey and we were kind of just hefted up into the bay as they could. I reached up between the seats and just touched one of the pilots arms and he turned and all I could muster was a mouthed thank you, to which he grinned and squeezed my hand. They were able to get us out of that firefight and over to 93rd evac hospital at Long Binh just North of Saigon and they were able to save my leg that was pretty mangled. Never knew the pilots name, I was 18 and he was probably 4-5 years older than me. I only hope my weak ass thank you to him was enough.
I can't get over how the timing of the bombs comes at certain words. You would think that if another country wanted to fight the USA they would think again after watching or hearing this. Bless All military before and now and future for our FREEDOM. Thank you all very much. God Bless you
Yeah ! This is the appropriate soundtrack music for that ! The helicopter and music was old already but on todays reality, it's still got thunder in it!
I do not know is you guys can ever understand the real meaning of this song. The guns are the real power of a battle Field the Guns and The Gunners. To feel the power of that peace of equipment is unbelievable. The other end of the guns is where the real power is. the earth moves and the shock wave rolls through your body and you can feel the real power of guns. I was in RAA. I worked the the US and UK Armed Forces.
Belive or not that was during the many years in the Army I was partisapating in all kinds or air assult im in the pics of the ch47 on the mountin top in yak cool memories good times.

Yeah, I asked my dad “What music do you like.” Oh boy, I wasn’t disappointed. The speakers of that 90s PC were living their last day…
bruh no way he showed me this as well oh the nostalgia!

It shows the people of the U.S.A. that our military is not playing games with the people that try to do us harm.
@@garyleach9072 u guys lose to both rice farmer and arabs cave dweller with no shoes
This song goes really well with heavily armed helicopters
