Hi Lauren! It’s funny that you mention AED. I just started a LTC position and I was told today that we don’t have one!! 😮😮 I think he said it’s due to Covid 🤷🏾♀️. This video is awesome and very informative. Thanks so much.
It was helpful thanks 🙏🏼 I am starting long term facility in couple weeks. As an international graduate RN that kind of videos help me preparing to the clinics myself better . I am looking forward more videos 💗 stay safe

How long do you think should be a good training orientation, with like another nurse for LTC? Do you think LTC it's doable for a new grad nurse😅? Thanks for the informative videos!
I think new hires get a month or two at my job,but I’ll ask and confirm that for you. Also yes, ltc is good for a new nurse, but see what else Is out there too that might catch your interest. for example, cvs hiresLPNs too. there’s also a doctors offices. Just see what your options arenefote you jump at ltc. Long term care is good for the Lpn cuz the patient is stable, and if you get a rehab floor you can use a lot more skills then long term care. my job is rehab on the one floor n long term care on the other floor. there’s also, promedica which is kinda like a step down from the hospital as well. the one I interviewed at was anyway.
@@Nurse4Life255 Thank you so much for your reply. I'm also looking into applying for a New grad RN residency program at a hospital. I have an interview on Monday for the facility I did applied for which I believe has different units like LTC/ SNF. I was just gonna do the hospital cause some nurses recommend to start there, but I was actually still gonna go back to that LTC nursing facility I did applied for because it's a state facility, and I'm currently a state employee although in another field. Thats why I was wondering if I should start at a hospital if I still wanted to end up in that LTC facility😓. Sorry for the long reply😅
Hi, I am a new subscriber. I am in California and just accepted a LVN position in a LTC facility. I have to say I like your video's and they are helpful and informative. REQUEST can you do State required steps on med pass for a G-Tube patient who has 10 meds and eye drops? Also, if you can sit at home and write nursing notes on a paper or wipe board? Like what do you write for a new skin tear, or a new bruise, or a fall? Charting is my weak point. I need help on charting like short and sweet . I am so lengthy and my boss needs me to make my notes a bit straight to the point. Thank you
Thank you! I'm enjoying all of your videos, learning a lot.
You’re welcome ☺️
