Two days after Dallas, Oasis finish their three back-to-back shows in Texas at the Urban Art Bar in Houston. This is a decent show, though not as exciting as the Dallas gig a couple days prior. Though the majority of the crowd are having a great time, there are unsurprisingly a few people trying to spoil the show for everyone. There seems to be problems with both stage divers and objects being thrown onstage, which gets Liam in a bit of a bad mood, particularly at the end of Live Forever in which Noel takes over while Liam seemingly gives the perpetrator the death stare. The recording is also not the best, and it was running flat too. However, under all of this I still think there is still a pretty energetic performance from all five members. Liam’s voice isn’t as agile as it was in Dallas, and sings Slide Away very conservatively, which is unlike most shows of this tour. The rest of the band are in typical form, nothing really standing out (apart from a good solo by Noel in It’s Good To Be Free) but tight nonetheless. I’ve fixed the pitch issues on the tape, as well as trying to get the most out of the tape as possible too. I’d recommend this one more for completists.

Nice, can you remember any details of the gig?

@@dullsearake yep, I remember Noel having to take his guitar off and holding it like a baseball bat, due to angry guys trying to get on stage. I remember Noel stopping a full band version of married with children because the drummer was off time coming in. But the main thing I remember is the line around the block of girls wanting to get into their tour bus. It was a very Rock N Roll night. Lots of energy in the room.

​@@jasonwiltshire1642 That's amazing. I first saw 'em Dec '95 , Toronto Warehouse, and it had a bit of that edge, but the real gritty rock n roll shows were 1994 to early '95-sounds like you got a taste. Cheers for sharing mate.
