Been building fences for about 5 years, about 2 months ago I went out on my own and I've learned alot of tips and tricks from y'all. My dad always told me even if your way works good there's always a better way. Love your videos

Good job Joe. But you forgot your post hole diggers and one major tool...The B'root Bar root cutting tool. I'm a fence contractor in south Florida and we run into a lot of large roots when setting post. And you know certain post have got to go where they have to go. This is our go to tool. I found one years ago and now finally see them selling on Amazon and ebay. Check that thing out.

I would like to see what you guys have on your trucks. I'm a fence Junkie myself. Been in the industry since 1985 and I'm always looking for the next best thing.

Why not buy a chalk line and don't put the chalk in it for quick and easy deployment and retraction of string?

    • @Karensfirststeps

@@JoeEverest Thank you sir... Any recommendations on a cordless nail gun. I'm currently using both the Porter Cable and Riobi for my staplers and 18 guage finish nailers and have been extremely happy with both of them. I'm looking at the Milwaukee M18

I literally had my most recent client ask me this question during the estimate meeting: "So are you guys going to use a level?" I honestly was speechless and paused for a moment before saying "yes sir we use levels". He then proceeded to say "oh good, I didn't use one when I built this and I had posts going all sorts of ways and the wife wasn't happy XD" *face palm emoji*

Mmmhmmm after 18 yrs and doing multiple types of fence I am not saying u don’t need all these tools but I don’t know that I would put them in the top 5 unless in conjunction with a socket adapter and set for the drill but a socket set to me is more important then the drill and I would put a hammer over measuring wheel this is coming from a installers view not a salesman/owner
