- Russian intelligence has claimed that a French contingent to be sent to Ukraine is already being prepared by France and initially, it will include around 2,000 troops. The Russian intelligence chief Sergey Naryshkin said the French military fears that such a large military unit cannot be transferred and stationed in Ukraine unnoticed and warned Paris of death and destruction in case its troops enter into a war with Russian soldiers. The russians then proceed, as ww2 was about to start, to help the nazi (Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact), which destroyed the plan of the french who got swiftly beaten by the germans.
Of course the germans then turned on the russians, who barely survived thanks to the fact that they could run away for hundreds of miles, and that the rest of the world was helping them fight them... actually this reminds me of the only victory of the russians against the french, at the end of the napoleonic wars, Moscow ended up in flame, but they did beat the french at the end, because the rest of the world was also fighting napoleon.
To win against the french, or the germans, or really any major power, the russians just need to have the rest of the world helping them, tells you all you need to know about those sub europeans.

I am actually curious about just how badly the Russians will hurt the French and how the French public and Elites will react to say a couple of hundred dead and wounded French soldiers within the first day of combat when the Russians hit then with everything from Hypersonic to FPV drones. Will the Russians hit the air bases in Rumania that the French will base their Airplanes out of? Will the Russians launch long range cruise and hypersonic strikes on the French homeland. Lots of questions , lets see what the answers are

The problem here is they won't tell anything to the public. The public will only see at the end of the war or many years later after the war what their real loses in this conflict was.

Europe is losing the war. The situation in Ukraine is going very poorly. Russia clearly is winning; its economy is doing very well. The European economy, by contrast, is stalling. And as Russia makes progress in the conflict, when the Ukraine government breaks in some way, then the results for Europe will be devastating.
The prospect of a Ukrainian collapse would cause panic in Poland, but also in Berlin and Paris, and Macron has been making crazy noises about sending troops to Ukraine, which is completely nuts. But then again, the guy is desperate and doesn't know quite how to respond. And the same kind of desperation is evident in other capitals as well.
The U.S. really engineered this conflict.
