I use an American product called poor boys, a kit comes with a black polish and a sealant. It can be applied by machine or hand. Results on black paint is top notch. Obviously doesn’t last forever but hides any tiny imperfections that paint correction can leave and leaves a deep shine. Love detailing it’s what I do but MTB allll day long if I could

Get yourself some AutoBrite MagiFoam lad, best snow foam ive used. Produces a thick foam & cleans very well for a snow foam/ pre clean!

Harry get your car booked in to Johnny bs retailers in Walsall for a machine polish and gloss enhancement you won’t be disappointed it’s pricey but damn your car will look showroom fresh
You ever thought about applying a ceramic coat to the golf Harry? Look into gtechniq crystal serum. It’s a quality product that’s applied by hand is very easy. And it’s will seal it in properly. Obviously after it’s been fully corrected. Then, tree sap, salt erosion, air pollutants, bird poo all that kinda stuff can’t damage the clear coat,
A full 3 stage correction followed by a grechniq ceramic coat. Few sick videos there laddddd
I’d say that you was probably applying too much I’m not sure how much it says to use but that looked like quite a thick layer, but still looks savage 👍🏼👍🏼

Hey man, you need to check out Vermijl. Dude is an absolute beast and I think you’d like his stuff. Also, Obsessed Garage is the peak of detailing if you want the best of the best. I was skeptical, but I tried the Koch Chemie GSF in my MTM foam cannon and I was blown away how well it worked. Best foaming soap I’ve used and works very well as a wash soap.
Slightly wet towel for first polish and the finish with dry. Surly that be easier and still work. Less rubbing

Best interior detailing brushes are the carbon collective ones for interior. £20 for a set of 4 feather tip brushes.

Seats are just flat and put a liner over the top of them and the boot, think it was a custom job he mentioned it in a video just after the garage was fully built I think

You need to check out autobrite, I've gone through the Halfords range of Maguire's, auto finesse etc and autobrite absolutely knocks it out of the park. Much better than chemical guys also.

Hey Harry… the main reason you’re finding it hard removing some of the products it’s you’re using miles too much. With most detailing products less is more and your better laying 2 thin coats than 1 thick one. You’ll end up removing excess product and wasting it.

Harry you are using too much product fella I use about half the amount that you have just used there but also you are better off putting the product on to the applicators. These companies all say use as little as possible but if you struggle to get it off just use a damp microfiber then the product will come off so smooth 🤝

Too much product mate that’s why it’s so hard to get off. Less is more with coatings and sealants only need a very light coverage.
