My bad for the comment on your other video I just seen that you actually did go ahead and do the head gasket and timing belt water pump

How much did surfacing the head cost at the machine shop? I am wondering if I should have that done or just buy a remanufactured head since they are about $400 complete?

What was the car doing? My sons 04 civic is getting hot, stumbling then all of a sudden it runs good. It’s very intermittent. It was low in coolant so it may be burning it in the cylinder

Mine wasn't really running rough, it would just overheat and right before I replaced the head gasket it would only take about 15-20 minutes to overheat which made it pretty much undrivable. I haven't had any issues with it after replacing the head gasket and is now nearing 300,000 miles.

Yep, still running strong. It's up to 295k miles now. I daily it and still use it for Uber eats so it's still getting pretty heavy use. Only thing it's needed since head gasket was a starter
