Man, seeing Rodney and Raquel laughing makes me wish they had more moments together. Plus, it's nice to see her loosen up and have fun. In the later seasons, she was mostly moody, miserable, cynical, and sarcastic.
Your reaction to Del having red and brown sauce on his chip sandwich is fantastic and Iove the way you reacted in the comments meaning it may not be fantastic for you but it is for others
Ok right so what do they are introducing in this content server is a whole bunch of laughter unfortunate to say it generally does not enter enter tune into my mind mean in the UK was creating laughter inside their system is blueberries good to be early at the programming massive amounts of individual people experience in laughter
fjvideo nah it was funny for a while longer i think. It stopped being funny when they brought the wives in and moved rodney away. Grandad for me was a much better foil than uncle albert though, although that couldnt be helped obviously. The killer for me was making them millionaires, it seemed to far fetched, del boy and rodney never really wanted to be rich, they just wanted a settled family life esp rodney. It needed ending before the time on our hands episode though, with cassandra having a baby and them leaving us with that. I think thats why sullivan brought it back tbh so he could right the wrong. It got milked but it was excellent tv in its 6 series tbh.
@@fjccommish I used to watch that and I liked it too. John Sullivan wanted both Del and Rodney to find love and have long term partners, so he wrote in Raquel ( whom it is later discovered that she is connected to his arch nemesis, Roy Slater ( played by the brilliant Jim Broadbent ) ) and Cassandra. My mum wasn’t keen on the introduction either, but the episodes didn’t stop being funny because they were in it. Whilst Raquel may of softened the edges a bit, Del was still Del. Rodney could be counted on for being a plonker with regards to his marriage to Cassandra and they still had the pathos mixed in with the laughs, the bit in one of the later episodes when Cassandra miscarried their first baby and in order to get Rodney to discuss his grief, Del shuts the lifts down.
@@therebel4332 That wasn’t just a mantra that Del Boy said throughout the show, he actually aspired to become a millionaire, so yes he did want to be rich and constantly had the belief that he could become one. Rodney on the other hand went along with his brothers ( officially half brother ) dreams of becoming rich, but never actually thought it would ever happen. Rodney is apparently based on John Sullivan’s older brother who he said was an idealist and a bit of a dreamer when he was younger and relied heavily on John a lot. John decided to give his characters their wish, to be millionaires and add irony to it by the fact that they could have been years ago, had they known they were storing something valuable amongst the knockoffs. But that’s the pair of plonkers that they are and we loved them.
Lol Albert's impression of Del kills me every time
