An Old Armenian Neighborhood in Bucharest?

Romania's capital has an old neighborhood named "Cartierul Armenesc", the "Armenian Quarter", because it was populated mostly by Armenians at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. Let's walk around its streets together!

Not far from Armenian street you have the oldest house in Bucharest, Casa Melic, the former residence of an Armenian, Jacob Melik.

When we were visitng Manuc Bey’s gravesite they told us stories about the mystery of his death. More interestingly they told us about how the soviets mistreated the building and destroyed parts of it.
I’m happy to see it restored and in good shape.
